“I was looked after by Natasha who could see I was confused at the children shoes section next to the tills. Usually I would refuse help but I was so lost and Natasha could see this, I explained I had just picked up my online order from Next collect and now needed to find some shoes to match. Natasha asked to see the dress and found the perfect shoes to match and even checked the stock levels of different shoes. This helped me out massively and I was grateful for her help.”

Despite this, there was a silver lining as many items were on sale, offering great bargains for shoppers looking for high-quality brands at discounted prices. While the changes within the store were unexpected, the remaining selection still showcased a variety of options across clothing, accessories, and home goods. It's a reminder that TKMAXX continues to be a destination for those in search of designer deals, even amidst changes. I hope to see this location thrive again in the future.”

The proprietor Virginia was extraordinarily helpful-I had no idea there was so much to vintage clothing care wise. She also offers an alteration service which is very convenient! I loved all the bits and pieces in Gingermegs- some exquisite dresses, scarves, bags, jewellery, china teasets! and my favourite furs and kimonos which will definitely be my next buy. Go there- its a lovely little oasis in the rush of Custard Factory and Virginia's knowledge about materials and their upkeep will never leave you! Thank you again! :D”
