“We came here with a big group of family - meeting from different parts of the country - in the gap between Christmas and New Year and had a lovely welcome. They had no trouble accommodating our big group and brought a selection of delicious dishes, tej (honey wine) and beautiful traditional Ethiopian coffee and spiced tea. They really made our occasion special.”

Food was really nice, good portion for the price and they were really kind serving us and interactive. Environment was super calm enough can tell it’s a meet up spot. :D”

“We went to Birmingham for the weekend and thought it only right to have a curry whilst there. I'm very glad we picked this place in particular. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a tranquil and calming ambience and the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The food was some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. The time taken into knowing a balance of spice never goes unnoticed. Altogether a fantastic experience at a reasonable price, well worth a visit.”

“We found every aspect of service and product to be excellent – we visited the store, were advised in a friendly and knowledgeable way. To demonstrate how happy we were we purchased 2 sofas and then we purchased another 1 and then another 2 – and we are very happy. The delivery team each time were excellent.”

“The array of bread and pastries are great, with huge variety of both sweet and savoury options to have in or take away. Following suit, the menu is HUGE, especially for brunch, with lots of creative and unique options that you wouldn’t find elsewhere, mostly spins on brunch classics. We had the brisket benny, which was pretty nice. Pulled brisket and hollandaise sauce, with poached eggs and an English muffin. It was good, but didn’t quite live up to our excitement when we read it on the menu, falling a little flat. That being said, it was tasty and we will sure be back to try some other stuff as it all looked fab. I had a plain Crossiant, which unfortunately was verging on stale. Good flavour, but it was very hard and really wasn’t even close to my dreams of a flakey and light pastry. Oh well. The teas we had were very tasty, and the vibes in the place are pretty cool. There’s many rooms to choose from, so it does feel cosy and atmospheric. The staff were also nice, being pretty attentive and got the job done.”

“Visited whilst in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games. They have a lovely terrace which is a must on a sunny day. We sat just inside so had the best of both worlds. The food was delicious and well cooked. The service was impeccable and staff were fantastic. The chef's choice of cheeses were amazing. It was a lovely treat.”

I had the pulled beef burrito bowl it was very tasty the deal came with a choose of drinks I chose an Aperol spritz! “This little Greek restaurant may be difficult to find as it's situated within the food hall on the ground floor of Selfridges. The wife and I had a very enjoyable meal here coupled with friendly and efficient service. Hard to fault. Update: Until today's visit, whilst the food was OK sadly the service was a bit of a shambles. Apparently two staff didn't turn up. However I have never had a problem here before and the manager apologised profusely and made a generous gesture. Things can go wrong and I have to give them credit for how they tried to put it right. We'll be back.”

“Absolutely lovely vegan afternoon tea at Marco Pierre White in Birmingham. You never can trust that the vegan option is good and of course I’d expect nothing less than perfection from MPW, but this truly was delicious. The chocolate fudge cake was particularly delicious and was everything you would want from a chocolate cake. The sandwiches featured beetroot, cucumber and hummus, all served on brown bread and tasted great. I had sparkling water and an oat milk latte, and it was all very well presented with exceptional service. Aarieti (Apologies if that’s spelt incorrectly) was super friendly and polite, and I really enjoyed the experience. I didn’t have a window seat but it didn’t matter as the panoramic views were fantastic.”

“We recently had fitted wardrobes installed by Bartlams and we are really happy with the result. We dealt with Richard, who was fantastic throughout. He was friendly, easy to get along with, and very flexible. He fitted wardrobes in a downstairs bedroom and also in our loft, which was tricky because of the angled ceilings. I was a bit concerned at first, but the finished job is absolutely fantastic. A very professional, 10 out of 10 job. The whole team was professional and the quality of the work is excellent. I would definitely recommend Bartlams to anyone looking for fitted wardrobes.”

“I came in for a haircut and had an excellent experience. The shop is clean, and the vibe is really welcoming. All the staff are friendly and professional. I was lucky enough to have Hawa cut my hair – he is incredibly skilled and pays great attention to detail. He's definitely one of the best. Highly recommend asking for him!”

“Previously visited Cheals when based in Henley-in-Arden. This was our first time at their new location in Knowle and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is much more spacious now and the interior tastefully decorated. So, first impressions were great. Our waiter gave a warm welcome and expertly guided us through the menu and wine list. A very capable front of house team. My wife and I opted for the a la carte lunch menu and with each course our enthusiasm for the next grew. The hardest thing is deciding between all the tempting choices on offer, so if your budget stretches to it, I'd go for the tasting menu for a real treat. The highlight for us both was the dessert course. What a selection of moreish puddings skillfully prepared. Hats off to their patisserie chef. We chose Cheals for our second wedding anniversary and were delighted we did. We'll definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend it to others too.”

“I have been here three times now, having visited for a third time today with a friend. I was immediately impressed when I received a vegan burger during my first visit and knew it was not your regular vegan burger. Instead it was a bun containing a generous helping of well-cooked roasted vegetables. Aubergine has never been a favourite vegetable of mine but with the vegan burger I not only tolerated it but actually enjoyed it and the whole medley of vegetables. They clearly know how to cook their food and being a great fan of learning more about cultures and cuisines this restaurant always brings a smile. During my other two visits I tried the halloumi burger which again was so comforting to eat. The food is certainly tender and you can never stop coming back for another bite. The burger dressings are always enjoyable and I also always enjoy how fries are included with the burgers. Furthermore, these fries are good fries, with a nice, slightly crispy coating and actually feel satisfying to eat. For drinks, I have tried one or two of their fruit juices now. Today, to go with my halloumi burger, I had Amita peach, a refreshing drink which felt quite natural. The staff are always friendly, warm and efficient. Food never seems to take long to arrive and it never takes me long to eat it! This is most definitely one of the places to go to eat if you are in Northfield. And well done for getting me to like aubergines!”

By far this company is the most professional, reliable & friendliest I have had the pleasure to deal with. The silver Hummer limo for my sisters special birthday was absolutely fantastic, The bottles of bubbly went down a real treat. Our driver was amazing! Very polite & courteous, and allowed us to connect our playlist to the limo, what a fabulous journey we had! When I booked, I did have a few little questions and they were always very quick to get back to me via WhatsApp, which was very helpful. They also cleaned up and took the excess carpet away, which I was pleased with. Would have been a headache to get rid of it.”

“Went on Saturday with my severe needle phobia (long history) daughter who desperately wanted her belly button pierced. We’ve been somewhere else where it was a no go. Called The Maxx after hearing good things about them. Popped in at told to do, Wow (I think it was Tash) was amazing, so understanding, patient and caring, talked and explained everything to my daughter, told her we’ll go your speed when your ready, it took 3 attempts but she did it, my daughter was crying with joy. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, the karak chai was perfectly spiced and soothing, the Oreo milkshake was creamy and indulgent, and the pistachio milk cake was incredibly moist and delicious.
