Pet hotel in Brighton and Hove

“We are staying here currently and we were a bit worried beforehand after reading all the bad reviews but honestly I believe people’s expectations are way too high. You really are paying for what you get, so if you would like a 5 star hotel then that is what you should go pay for. The rooms, while yes, dated, do what they are intended for. The hotel is located right by the beach so there is lots to do and you only really need to sleep here so the hotel is perfect for that, especially at the cheap prices it has. The shower in our room had the best water pressure I have ever felt and the beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean also. The staff are lovely and very helpful, so thank you for that. And again, to reiterate, the reviews here appear to be left by people who have high expectations for an affordable hotel. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Stayed here as a large group of friends, the place is under new management and therefore quite hectic at the moment, but the manager was so incredibly helpful and helped us so much with anything we needed, including extra duvets etc!! The place is old, however, so windows are a bit draughty but a heater was provided in the room and once we used that, it was very toasty!! Beautiful sea view from the room, could not recommend this enough if you’re a young group of friends with somewhere cheap needed to stay!!”

“This is a really nice hotel, located right on Brighton's Marine Parade. Everything was within walking distance, with a bus stop right outside. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. As it is a small hotel, there were no long check-in queues and everything was handled in a very personal way. My room had the promised sea view and a view of the Brighton Pier. The hotel has been immaculately and thoughtfully refurbished. Everything you would need was available. The bed was comfortable, the shower was a rainfall shower and there was enough space in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The price-to-quality ratio was good. I can only recommend 'A Room With A View' and would certainly book it again when I come back to Brighton.”

“We stayed at Snooze for three nights. Tony welcomed us and told us about all the places we should visit during our stay. The room looked incredible. We were in the 70s inspired room. So fun! The room was clean and offered everything we wanted. The area was quite and very close to the beach. It was a less than 15 min walk to the Lanes. There’s also a bus stop very close. They also do a collaboration for breakfast with Egg & Spoon, which you can either get delivered or enjoy in the cafe. All in all, we really loved staying at Snooze. Would recommend 10/10!”

“Daisy was great at grooming my Sproodle. She was kind, caring and did an amazing groom. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a groomers in this area.”

“Great campsite with great views,super clean toilets and showers ,you can also order breakfast's, short walk to buses into centre of Brighton campsite is also nice and quiet, logs can also be purchased for fire pits.”

“We had an excellent time here this weekend. The room was clean, smart and had everything we could need (including iron, ironing board and free sweet basket). The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, we had the fruit with yogurt and full English. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“I couldn't recommend the Southern Belle more highly. The hotel is beautifully decorated, short walk from the lanes with absolutely lovely food. The best thing is the staff and atmosphere though - this made our stay really special and gives the bar downstairs a real local vibe. Will definitely be back!”

“Fantastic stay all round!! Location, wonderful rooms with lots of space. Easy reach of everything. No parking but you can still reach the hotel by car, despite what other reviews say. Special shout out to Auri. Super helpful when i wanted to change the room I had booked. Took care of everything and was super helpful. Brilliant free to access gym as well. Would recommend to anyone stopping in Brighton.”

“Had a Friday night at Drakes. Staff were wonderful and the room was great - huge pillows and lovely bedding. Also location was excellent for the seafront and shopping.”

“Genuinely maybe the best 3 course meal I've ever had, booked the function room for a surprise 30th and was genuinely unbelievable. We had Riccardo (might be slightly wrong) but couldn't have asked for any more. It is slightly on the more expensive side but one million % worth it if you want the full experience. Food and service both 10/10”

“Things are a bit hazy on this pub as we'd been to a few before but I remember the staff being friendly and a selection of beers. Nice pub, good atmosphere. Would go back”

“Another great hair cut for the little fella. The staff make him feel comfortable and he always enjoys his visit. It might have something to do with the bone that I buy him after but I think it's because he enjoys the beauty treatment. Nails done, teeth cleaned, hair cut all in a couple of hours. Very happy”

“The Claremont went above and beyond for Afternoon Tea. We didn't stay there but wish we did because honestly, we had the most welcoming and great experience. My partner had a birthday celebration, not only did they gesture a cake with a candle and decorated for it, the wonderful lady serving us made sure we were well looked after by moving us and everything out in the garden for our convenience as well as checking up for naything we needed. The tea was absolutely delicious and fresh! Everything went so well and it was just a special day. We cannot comment on the rooms as we have not been but from images and description, look great! A gem to be recommended. They also celebrate artists by displaying interesting art for sale inside the foyer. Fabulous! So traditional, so english and so Brighton!”

“Lovely room, nice and clean, and we had white stuff toiletries which was a lovely surprise. Location a little out of the centre but great bus connections. Very responsive on email and telephone. Really happy. Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again.”

“Coulson House is one of the loveliest places I’ve stayed. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and everything felt welcoming and well cared for. Excellent location, just a short walk from the beach and the city centre. I would definitely love to stay there again.”

“I needed to get my dogs nails clipped but didn't have an appointment, I went in and spoke to Lydia and she gave me appointment for a couple of hours later. Lydia cut my (nervous) dogs nails in a matter of minutes, quickly,confidently whilst also reasurring him! very professional Also what a lovely establishment and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend”

“The treatment of the staff was very good, I had some problem regarding the reservation and John personally helped me through mail to solve the problem. When we arrived at the hostel everything was super good, the room was very good. The only thing was not very good was the floor and some hole in the wall but for the rest everything was fine. The kitchen is perfect, however I didn’t use it. The location is amazing, you can get to the city center in 15 minutes by foot. Thanks John”

“Really enjoyed a 4 day break with my friend. Accommodation is well equipped, shower is large & plently of hot water, kitchen area is sparce but has a kettle, microwave & double hob. The double bed was comfortable. We had a great view over marina. It was very quiet at night. Parking was a fair way from accommodation & the steps made it hard work with our suitcases etc. However I really enjoy the accommodation & would return again.”

“Very modern hotel with everything needed. The car park isn't on site, but it's only a short walk. I would imagine it's a great place to stop in the summer, with views over the Marina. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. A good hotel base for exploring Brighton.”

“Me and a a friend booked a room here quite last minute on a Saturday during a festival and could not believe how lucky we were to find it! The owner, affan, was extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome, he went above and beyond for us and you can tell he takes pride in these rooms and his guests. The room was spotless and cozy - perfect after a long day of work. The bathroom is also amazing. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!”

“If art deco decor and floor to ceiling bay windows to die for are your thing, then Paskins Town House is the spot for you. My partner and I have stayed here numerous times over the years and we just love the laid back vibe, every room we have stayed in has been clean and well looked after and hosts are so friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend Paskins anymore!”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights with my friend. We were bowled over with Michael & Paul’s top class hospitality, friendliness & attention to detail. Beautiful room with a comfy bed & everything you could ever need including phone chargers, umbrellas even plug adapters . Lovely guys & I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Brighton. 10/10”
