“Found this little Inn by chance. Well presented and clean. We only had drinks and a quick snack however it was well presented and good value. We noticed that they had a special offer on a buy one get one free on all main courses which we felt was excellent value. Large beer garden which had small area of play equipment in. Friendly staff. Campsite at the back of the pub - we didn’t visit so are unable to comment on the camping area. The noise from the adjacent M5 and railway track was quite noticeable and I can imagine may upset some people.”
“Great cafe over looking the old market place! Amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Only had breakfast here on a Sunday morning but it seems very popular and the food was very nice! Good selection and lovely calming decor. Recommended”
“What an awesome little find! I had friends visiting and took them for a walk around beautiful Tetbury, when we walked past we saw how busy this place was.... that was for a reason! Beautiful food and drinks, lovely service and fantastic atmosphere. Absolutely spot on.”
“We were a group of four friends who visited for an impromptu Thursday evening dinner, and were fortunate to secure a reservation for about about 45 minutes after our arrival (we filled the interval by popping across the street for a pint). Our first impression of the restaurant was that it was attractive, well organized, and well run, all assumptions that played out during our meal. Service was quick, friendly, and professional, and we shared around some olives, calamari, and charcuterie. For mains we ordered Moules à la Provençale, Pan-Fried Salmon Béarnaise, Fillet, and Confit Pork Belly, and although all plates were very tasty and well-proportioned, our friend who ordered the pork pronounced it to be the best he had eaten for quite some time. The only item we tried that didn’t exactly make the grade was the Wild Strawberry Paris-Brest for dessert, which suffered from some fairly tasteless fruit. So, all in all, the meal was a success and Côte gets full marks.”
“Bolero Lounge has a casual and chilled vibe. It is the kind of place you can go to when you are bored of being at home and want to get away for a couple of hours. It has a mix of a cafe and restaurant atmosphere that feels very relaxed. I often go for the atmosphere but the food is also great.”
“Food was excellent and portion sizes (especially the pizza and calzone) were brilliant. Service was fast and the staff were friendly.”
“Rating this five stars solely on the elderflower spritz. Speedy service and online ordering, EVERYBODY GO GET AN ELDERFLOWER SPRITZ NOW!!!!!!”
“Lovely place for lunch, super warm welcome and friendly staff. The place was spotless (this includes the all important loo), the loos are upstairs and there is another with disabled access on the lower floor. We popped in for a spot of lunch today, I wanted Westons Vintage Cider but they were all out so I had a hot chocolate, my wife had Elderflower crush. For food we had a Twisted Chicken Club and the Mediterranean Mezze, they were both very nice and I for one will certainly be having the Mezze again when we re-visit in two weeks time. We got a table right away at about 1230 but soon after it started getting busy although I never saw anyone unable to get a table. There are two levels and an outside roof terrace which looked good (weather permitting). Keep up the good work people, we'll see you again soon.”
“One of the best Ivy locations in the UK—not just in terms of ambience, but also because the quality of food is spot-on. The service is impeccable, and the restaurant is right in the heart of Bath city centre. It’s buzzing throughout the day, and whenever you walk in, it’s always busy. Every time I’m in Bath, I make sure to have at least one meal here. Reservations aren’t required in the mornings, even on weekends. Breakfast is served until 11 am on weekends and until 11:30 am on weekdays, with an excellent English breakfast available.”
“Family lunch for four; incredible pizza and the best cheeseburger I've had! Ever. Amazing value and friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming during the daytime; will definitely return next time in Bath.”
“Absolutely wonderful service today! Mel looked after us and was incredible. The food was divine. Quick service, amazing setting and fantastic food.”
“Had the Sunday Sharing Platter of three meats. Possibly wouldn’t have if we knew it involved 45 minutes wait. But really great when it came. Cold by the time we finished as the air conditioner was super happy. Staff decent, but a warning of the impending delay would have helped. We could have stood outside. Took a chunk home for my rescue python. Don’t ask. All the best team Miller and Carter.”
“Normally we pop in for brunch. However on Saturday we popped in for an evening meal. What a super evening menu. Were not phased with a human being "walking in" which apparantly nowadays is a no go. Unless you book no one wants to help but that was not the case. Super meal, lovely menu, really helpful and one of the best meals that I have had out in a long time. Well done to you all. M”
“Lovely atmosphere with amazing pizza and staff!!”
“Beautiful room and excellent service. All the staff were warm, informative and extremely professional. Tasting menu was exceptional by British standards, and service was brisk. Food was unique and flavourful. Will visit again!”
“Delicious food. quality ingredients, well cooked and presented. Lovely decor. Good Sunday lunch deal, three courses for £29, and delicious too. The restaurant is part of a retirement village, albeit a very upmarket one, but parking situation slightly confusing, so just be aware before you go!”
“Lovey local pub, nice beer garden out front to enjoy a pint the Somerset sunshine! Great service from the landlords Graham & Cheryl. Highly recommend you stop by if you’re ever in Shipham!”
“A great place for breakfast and brunch. They serve tasty mackerel sandwiches and full veggie breakfast. The garden is lovely and perfect for those long summer brunches.”
“Had a lovely lunch. Attractive location, friendly staff, delicious food.”
“I love here! We had tuna mayo jacket potato and sausage bacon ciabatta with 2 coffee~ They also have oat milk too! It’s a lovely place with nice food!”
“Had a festive dining bench today. The food was incredible and service exceptional. We have a dietary requirement and they were more than accommodating and made alternatives which were delicious. Will definitely recommend.”
“We had a wonderful staff meeting event and lunch, the whole thing was really exceptional from start to finish. Despite having a leak the morning as we arrived, the staff were extremely calm under pressure, and rearranged everything seamlessly, worked cheerfully around our photographer and somehow still pulling off the most perfect day - honestly, we would not have noticed there was any issue unless they had told us! The service was calm, professional and over and above. The food was the event set menu and was really perfect, it was festive without being boring or twee! Everyone loved it and serving family style gave it a lovely atmosphere, as did little touches like crackers etc. The chefs were wonderful and friendly too. We would use them again in a heartbeat and hope to come back in the summer to sit on the beautiful terrace. Thanks so much to everyone who made our day so enjoyable, you are brilliant!”
“Service was ok, not super friendly. Drinks were good and big though, and the atmosphere was fine, we sat in the back and there was a lot of stuff that should have been in storage, instead of piled up in the back.”
“Been many times to the fantastic Brasserie and our last visit was no exception. I have always felt the food is the best in the whole of Bath, and to boot the atmosphere has a warm buzz every time we go, the service staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Whenever I have friends or family over to visit we take them to the Brasserie as I know it will always go down a success.”
“The Royal Crescent was a great stay. Lovely grounds, amazing service and just relaxing. So quiet it was refreshing.”
“Had an amazing meal at Thai Balcony in Bath. We went for the set menu (£36 per person) and it was excellent – loads of variety, really generous portions, and every dish was full of flavour. The curries were rich and aromatic, the stir-fry was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the starters were a great mix to share. The staff were really friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely too – cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a nice evening meal. Overall, brilliant value for money and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in the UK. Definitely recommend if you’re in Bath!”
“A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.”
“Had a full English and flat white. Delicious! The homemade potatoes and boar sausage were amazing, and the eggs were some of the best I’ve had. Very good coffee, too!”
“We stayed at The Royal and ate here. Pleasant food and good service.”
“A superb anniversary dinner. Couldn’t fault it. Tasty, hot, pleasing to the eye and tastes buds. Will definitely go again”
