“We had the 7 course tasting menu, I had the farm & sea then my partner had the land option which we shared the lot. Thank God we did as it would have been an incredible shame to miss out on some of the dishes! Every single bite was truly incredible, so many levels of flavour and such perfect combinations, truly hats off to the chef. The wine pairing was such a highlight as well, some very unique wines that fitted perfectly with the dishes but were also devine on their own. The service completed the evening, it was so attentive but not at all in your face, they were both very knowledgeable on the dishes and the wines. They also added a really homely, welcoming vibe which was so refreshing. Far too many places doing this level of food have a element of snobbery which can be off putting but not these two, they made us feel so welcomed and created such a warm environ. Without a doubt would visit again and will be recommending to anyone and everyone!”
“Very nice place for breakfast. Plenty of seats, interesting interior design, feels nice and warm. Reasonable price for a big portion. We really enjoyed the food and coffee. They even have a bar inside if you fancy an alcoholic drink ! :) The staff were lovely and welcoming. I strongly recommend this place. Well done guys.”
“Very good food and a lovely atmosphere, the best cafe in the Bs9 area !”
“We had an absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch on 9th November. We arranged this as a birthday lunch for our mother who is 82. We have been to Cote Cirencester on a number of occasions in the past and repeatedly look to come back because of how wonderful the experience is each time – and last Sunday was no different. The atmosphere is perfect for families, young and old. We have found it increasingly difficult to find restaurants which don’t insist on blaring out music or where the sound is echoey and background noise very clattery which makes hearing hard and conversation difficult. The ambience and environment created in Cote Cirencester is a perfect atmosphere. The food is sensational. Our starters and mains were all delicious. The roast chickens were superb and the description from our waiter that they were so fresh was evident in the cooking and in the tasting. The free flow fries were an outstanding menu option. We were also impressed with the options available for gluten and dairy free dietary requirements and the waiter was very helpful in explaining and facilitating this from the menu. All in all another excellent experience and above all the whole lunch was made memorable by our superb waiter Constantin. He was always friendly, warm and helpful. Throughout he brought humour and a genuine sense of care and sincere attentiveness which projected a strong desire for us all at our table to have a good time without this seeming forced or false – it was natural and made us all feel relaxed and very welcome. Constantin combines a well judged sense of humour with very strong customer service orientation and he helped make the experience all the more enjoyable. Special thanks to him. We will certainly be back again for another repeat visit.”
“Family of 4 popped in for a quick lunch. The menu will cater for everyone. We all had something different. Breakfast, baguettes, kids menu. Good size portions. Tasty food. Very well priced. With lovely service from Beth! Wish we had found this place earlier in our holiday.”
“Have eaten here a couple of times now and it is fantastic. Small local place but accommodating for a large table. All food we have had has been amazing quality and delicious - pizzas, pastas, breakfasts, starters, and sides! Service is always quick and friendly. We’ll be back!”
“So glad we finally tried this place. Like a little bit of France right here in Bristol. Galettes were perfect. Cidre was perfect. We’ll definitely be back for more!”
“Nice quiet Italian restaurant near the centre. Food was amazing. It was probably the best swordfish dish (as daily special) I have ever had — fresh taste of fish was kept, mixed with suitable flavour of tomato. The side mushrooms were also delicious. Enjoyed every second! A bit expensive though, but never mind as you would have such an experience. Added: I went another time and tried the monkfish, which is another daily special and is also good, although I like the swordfish better. The side potato is perfectly salted, and the Crème Brûlée is very creamy. Added again: One of the best Carbonara I’ve had outside Italy. The starter garlic bread with tomato sauce (basically Margarita) is already a meal portion, and it is very tasty.”
“There were 18 of us for a birthday party on Saturday, not my booking, great atmosphere, food came all at the same time, which was a feet in itself. loved every minute of it, food was amazing. thanks so much to the staff as we were a bit noisy as hadn’t seen each other for a while, will definitely be going back.”
“First time visit - really tasty food; excellent service. Recommend the Himalayan dishes. Glad we chose to drive across from Bath and meet our friends here.”
“I’m not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my partner loves it, so we gave Hao Wei a try, and I’m so glad we did. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour, fresh, and seriously satisfying. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s now become a firm favourite for us and part of our go-to hangover cure routine. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if Chinese isn’t normally your first choice, you might be surprised like I was!”
“Lovely and quiet. In the meantime we were waiting for the mains, the chef proposed a tasting of the lunch focaccia sandwiches, delicious!!! The pizza was really crunchy and cheesy, and the Cannoli was freshly made. I'll be back soon, especially to try the specials. Thank you so much!”
“The food was so tasty! Staff was super friendly, funny and polite! The goat cheese with redbeet salsa is my ultimate favorite! The green olives were quite raw/fresh, we would prefer other type but these were good too. Overall amazing food and vibe, I definitely recommend!”
“I was stumbling around on a rainy Sunday morning and I came across this gem! Amazing vegan breakfast and oat hot chocolate. Staff were really friendly, food was seriously tasty!”
“An absolutely stunning meal guided by really pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly staff! The meal was expensive, but the portions were huge! Totally worth the price in my opinion. The pork hot pot was enormous and and so rich with flavour. The onglet steak starter was the stand out dish for me. I wish this was a main so I could have eaten more of it. My partner had the lamb which was unbelievable well cooked, it melted in the mouth and the presentation was nothing short of Michelin Star! The cocktails were delightful and perfectly balanced which set the tone for a perfect evening in Bedminster.”
“This was my first time visiting Bath, and I found this restaurant while researching the town, no disappointment at all! The food was amazing, and the service was spot on. I’d recommend the courgette, it might look like a regular zucchini in the photo, but trust me, it’s incredible! Another favorite of mine was the crispy pork belly. The black beans were a little salty for me, but they pair perfectly with the pork, which was cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Bath!”
“We had a marvellous meal for two in here. The atmosphere was great and the service both friendly and efficient. The lamb cutlets were very tasty as was the well recommended tiramisu. We would definitely recommend.”
“Michelin star restaurant. Innovative, flavorful. 7 course tasting menu was made gluten free. Each course was beautifully plated, with complex combination of flavors that was impressive and delicious. Highly recommend. For smaller appetites, I recommend choosing 3 or 5 course options.”
“Had a gorgeous dinner here with my boyfriend for my birthday and it was incredible. 5 star food. The only steak restaurant we’ve ever seen where you can choose your sauce, butter and salt. Such a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and made me feel very special for my birthday with a special dessert too. Thank you!”
“Found this place when walking around Clevedon. Buzzing atmosphere inside and out. Lovely location looking over the Bristol channel. Welcoming and attentive staff. Delicious soup and cake. Chef even split the soup for us to share. Great looking menu and the food that was coming out to other customers looked really good. Dog friendly. Hope to visit again.”
“Flavoursome and delightful food! So many flavours and aromas. It was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the wonderful food and service!”
“Best Chinese around, highly recommend”
“My husband and I had the most delicious roast meal at Plate at the Bird tonight. We were served by Grace and she was excellent. Highly recommend!”
“My fave place for a morning hot chocolate and pastry. The food here is always outstanding. Their ham and cheese croissant is incredible. Had steak and frites a while back and still thinking about it! Highly recommend!”
“Lovely little cafe! Got a takeaway sandwich which was lovely and the lady who served me was smiling. Not easy at at 8:00am.”
“I have been to this restaurant now on two occasions. I have travelled from Cardiff on both occasions and I can tell you that it is worth every mile of the journey. The food is absolutely delicious, divine and out of this world. The tastes and attention to detail with every dish are very impressive. The warmth, decor and ambience are first class. I made a suggestion to Juliana (multi-talented waitress who also takes great pics) that some bread would go well with the seafood platter and this was implemented on the second visit. The chef, Marcia, grew up in Brazil and her take on seafood dishes and Thai dishes is very unique. She has magic in her hands. I would highly recommend the seafood platter and Tom Yum dishes. Ask for spicy versions and enjoy. I would come here every week if I lived closer. Keep up the good work guys.”
“Had a lovely lunchtime cocktail and cheese/ meat board. Delicious - onion chutney is one to try! Staff were attentive and great to talk to. Highly recommend. Small intimate feel to the place, we felt very welcome.”
“Great place to stop, incredible breakfasts and coffee ☕️”
“Wonderful welcome from Rafa, superb knowledge of the cheeses we had and the champagne was delicious with the cheese. Special occasion and this fabulous restaurant fitted the occasion. Will most certainly be making a return soon. Thankyou Rafa and co x”
“Always a pleasure eating here. 5*. Once again the meal was excellent and the service impeccable. We had the roast beef plus all the trimmings of course. Pumpkin soup starter and lemon possett dessert. Thank you Tyler, Benz, Helen, Davis and Elanore. Happy looking chefs too. Thank you all.”
