“For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations. I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for. Double room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet. Location is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in. Absolutely fantastic, and £38/night. Great weekend, thank you all.”

“We had a lovely stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have specials for front line and social care workers that were really appreciated as well as vouchers for parking in the city centre. It's very conveniently located. I'd recommend having a 'do not disturb' sign as we had people knocking on the door twice in a 1 night stay. We were right by the lifts so maybe just bad luck there.”

“This was a perfect temporary place for me and partner to live somewhere close to the city. Spacious, clean and tidy with all the essential utensils. Joe was always quick to respond to any problems or queries. For example, TV initially wouldn’t fully connect to WiFi but that was all sorted within a couple hours. Large area outback with room for street parking out front. Overall an excellent stay.”

“Thank you to all the staff. A special shout-out to the manager, Alan, for kindly keeping hold of my son’s cuddly toy for the best part of six months. As we live far away, we did not expect the hotel to keep it for so long, and we are extremely grateful. Our stay was very comfortable, but it was the staff who added that extra layer of welcome and hospitality. Thank you also to Cion (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly). My wife phoned the hotel ahead of my arrival to arrange collection. Although she couldn’t get through initially, Cion returned the call — something that rarely happens these days. She truly went above and beyond to help, and we are very thankful.”

“Everything in the apartment you need, staff who run it are exceptional! So very helpful currently in Zebulun suite which we have found a little small for a family of three, more suited to a lone visitor or couple, that said we will certainly be coming back we will just ensure we book a bigger suite, location is excellent, plenty of shops in easy walking distance, and as I said the staff could not be more helpful , exceptional service throughout”

Location is typical of a city nowadays BUT is just outside the centre within easy walk of Rodney parade football and rugby stadium. Not far from the station. I will be going back. Oh free parking.”

“I had a wonderful experience staying at the Beacon Hotel Cardiff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and comfortable, making my stay really enjoyable. A special mention goes to Drulval at reception – he was incredibly polite, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His friendliness made me feel right at home. “I needed to relet a house which I felt had perhaps not previously been managed as I would expect. I was looking for a fully managed service and hoped to find the most suitable tenants. Stefan came to visit the property and was extremely helpful in advising me and then narrowing the interested parties down to the current new tenants. I met the prospective tenants and was grateful for Stefan’s support in this. He addressed all the reservations I had and successful prepared then commenced the new tenancy in a professional but still friendly manner for all parties. At no stage did I feel that this was not handled in an appropriate way and has resulted in content tenants and also relieved myself of the need to manage the contract myself going forward. I am.confident that this approach and outcome will continue to the extent that I shall be using PA for further lettings as this need arises in the near future.”

“Genuinely do not know how the ratings are so poor. Having been treated so poorly by a certain letting agency based on Woodville road in our second year, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Cardiff Student letting. From the initial viewings to the check out inspection, myself and my co-tenants were treated with respect and professionalism, the staff are friendly and have genuine concern for your welfare. Any faults and problems with the house were treated promptly when the agency was informed. Any viewings that were coming round, we were informed without fail with 24 hours notice. Within two weeks of the tenancy ending, we are due to receive ALL of our deposit back. Anyone that is looking for a letting agency that isn't going to lie to you, cheat you out of your deposit or ignore your problems, then you need look no further than Cardiff Student letting!
