“Thank you to all the staff. A special shout-out to the manager, Alan, for kindly keeping hold of my son’s cuddly toy for the best part of six months. As we live far away, we did not expect the hotel to keep it for so long, and we are extremely grateful. Our stay was very comfortable, but it was the staff who added that extra layer of welcome and hospitality. Thank you also to Cion (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly). My wife phoned the hotel ahead of my arrival to arrange collection. Although she couldn’t get through initially, Cion returned the call — something that rarely happens these days. She truly went above and beyond to help, and we are very thankful.”

“I had a wonderful experience staying at the Beacon Hotel Cardiff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and comfortable, making my stay really enjoyable. A special mention goes to Drulval at reception – he was incredibly polite, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His friendliness made me feel right at home. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend the Beacon Hotel Cardiff to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience. I’ll be happy to return on my next visit to the city!”

“Room and decor throughout is very tastefully decorated. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Really good breakfast all you could want. The bed was really comfortable too. A bonus to have onside parking too. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a 1 or 2 night stay here. It was lovely. Well worth a stay here. Oh and only a short walk to seafront too.”

“We boarded our dog over the weekend and were quite nervous at it was his first time away from us. We couldn’t have taken him to a better place, you could tell they’ve really looked after him really well and he was very excited and looked happy when he came back. He’s not the biggest fan of kennels, but they’ve put in some work with him and they kept us updated whenever we messaged them to get any information. We’ve already booked him at Four Seasons for next month!”

“I only have 2 words to say about home and away "Bloody Brilliant". I have trusted this dog kennels on numerous occasions to take care of our 4 Daschunds and i cannot fault them. They evan had a complimentary bath before pickup. Brilliant, would trust no other kennels to look after our boys.”

Very clean, lovely hosts, walking distance to the beach, pier and shops- just a superb place to stay. I was only sorry that i couldn’t stay longer. Give this place a go, it will not disappoint.”

“What a truly wonderful hidden gem. Ty Mynydd Lodge is full of amazing character & features, plus it has a very unique and famous history. The location is perfect for traveling in & around Cardiff as well as going further afield. The rooms are perfect, the owners cannot do enough for you and the breakfasts are truly fantastic. “Exceptional Dog Walking Service! I've been using PontK9 for Caffrey's thrice-weekly hour-long pack walks, and I'm beyond impressed! Rob, our walker, isn't just doing a job; he genuinely adores Caffrey as much as we do. He takes incredible photos of Caffrey during the walks, which are always a joy to see. More importantly, he's been fantastic in building Caffrey’s confidence and discipline, especially with on-lead behavior and return commands. Rob's dedication and skills have made a noticeable difference, and I can’t recommend PontK9 enough. If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog as their own, look no further.”

“Totally impressed with the professionalism at Crosslands, first time leaving our 3 girls together in kennels and reviewed a few before settling with Crosslands. 3 big girls with different personalities and was filled with confidence as soon as they were dropped off, staff were confident handling them and they didn’t even look back as they walked away. All have come home healthy and happy. It’s great to have the peace of mind that the girls are safe and happy whilst we are away and it’s something that has prevented us going away for a while.”

“Just been to take our dog for his first physio with Denise, we were very happy, she was very good with our dog, he was relaxed, she explained things well & has given us exercises to do at home. he's booked in next week for physio & hydrotherapy. Would recommend.”

“This is the best cattery I've come across, and I'm typing this a little reluctantly because if everyone finds out they may not have space for our cats when we need it. The premises are secure and clean, and the staff know all the cats very well, and deal with them all as individuals.”

“Incredible place. Each unit is private enough to feel like you have your own space but still near enough that you don’t feel completely isolated. The lodge was immaculate with so many lovely little homely touches. I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed with only the birds and the trees for background noise. We will definitely be returning, we didn’t want to leave!!”

“Such a lovely caring cattery. My cat Jerry was well looked after for a few weeks by the lovely young lady she was amazing with him. I would definitely recommend this Cattery to anyone who is very nervous leaving there cats.”

“The owner Steve, is an absolutely lovely guy & nothing was too much trouble. I arrived at 12pm & Steve checked me in straight away. The guest house was absolutely spotless & the grounds were immaculate. I stayed in room 2 which had a very comfy bed, tv, great WiFi connection, charging points next to the bed, tea/coffee facilities & ensuite. The breakfast was first class. Each room also has 1 parking space. Ty Castell is in an excellent location & only a 2 minute walk to the town centre & train station. I will definitely stay again when in the area & highly recommend this guest house.”
