Pet hotel in Cardiff

“Ideal location just staying off the M4. Yes you can hear the noisy traffic but its not disturbed our sleep - the heavy rain did more damage to that ( and some dogs barking!!) Amazing family bathroom - with shower, bath and toilet all in one room for young families only. Everything is clean tidy, level gravel pitch. Very friendly staff. We have enjoyed our stay here with out 3 young children. So much room to go off on our bikes, play park etc.”

“I stayed with them this last week and I must say the experience was delightful! The staff and atmosphere was lovely and the stay itself was super nice and comfortable. But the main star of my stay was the breathtaking view from my room which i couldnt get enough of! I will definitely be staying with them again”

“Definitely the best B and B I've ever stayed at. Ivan and Toni were super friendly and they served a great Breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and complete with all that you need.”

“Four adults and a four year old. We've just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Riverside. Yes, there were a couple of negatives, and no, we didn't raise them at the time as we managed to combat them, and they didn't distract from the really good time we had. The caravan we stayed in was a six birth. Whilst there were ample cutlery, crockery & and glassware, we felt that the pans provided were of poor quality and inadequate. There was only one shelf in the oven. We expected that there should be two. And lastly (and it's the same issue at virtually every other holiday let We've stayed ), the knives in the knife block were all blunt. (The wife's tongue is sharper). May have as well used a hatchet. Apart from those minor issues, the caravan was clean and tidy. The site was well laid out and well maintained. All the staff were helpful and friendly and went about their duties diligently. We only used the restaurant a couple of times. I'm not a fan of carveries myself. However, I have to admit that the one we had at Riverside was really enjoyable. We also sampled the "build your own pizza." Outstanding. It's probably the best pizzas we've had. Pleasantly surprised at the prices at the bar too. It's more than reasonable. Well stocked with a wide choice of drinks. Apparently, we visited during the last week of low season and were informed that most of the week it would be quiet and entertainment would mainly consist of bingo, quizzes and karaoke. The best would be done to involve any children (of which there were very few). Lee, did an excellent job keeping us entertained. The bingo and quizzes were made really entertaining, and the children always came away "winning" and ice cream despite not even playing. For the number of people that were there most evenings, the prizes were very good. To summarize a very clean site offering friendly value for money service and amenities.”

“We love this hotel. We got married here 13 years ago and come here once a year to celebrate. The rooms are great, the staff are friendly. The location and views are amazing. We stayed here last night and ate in the Vale Grill. Our host was Lewis and he was fantastic. Very attentive, and even though it was busy he still made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the meal. The food was great, I had the Orzo Risotto and my husband had the Hanger Steak. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit.”

“What a lovely place! The food was amazing, Kristy was very lovely and friendly. I fell down the river and my clothes were fully soaked, she offered help and let me dry the clothes on the radiator. Very cosy, good decoration and lovely atmosphere! Thank you”

“Little Westra welcomed our Beagle with a friendly team. I was shown around the kennels and facilities beforehand, which was reassuring for a first timer. Our dog seemed happy enough after his 8 day stay and did not have too much of the usual kennel smell which has happened at a different kennel. Overall I would recommend Little Westra and will use them again should the need arise.”

“I stayed at The Spires in Cardiff from Wednesday until Friday while working in the city, and it was a great experience. The apartment was very clean, well-presented, and offered excellent value for money. The location is spot on – close to everything you’d need, which made my stay really convenient. I’d also like to mention the gentleman on reception, who was extremely helpful and made check-in and the whole stay very easy. Overall, it was a great stay. I’d highly recommend The Spires Cardiff and will definitely use it again in the future.”

“I boarded my two retrievers recently. My girl had never been away from home and was stressed at the initial handover. I need not have worried as both dogs were clean, fluffy and really happy when we collected them. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend.”

She seems to have had a lovely time - had a few pupdates during my holiday, all looked to be happy and running about with the others. Steve and his staff were polite and courteous. would definitely recommend and she will be going again.”

“Stayed here on 08th April as we had family staying local. The atmosphere was amazing there was a comedian on who was hilarious!! The owners Gareth and Tash were absolutely sound! “This historical Welsh public house has so much rich history. The pub is currently being run to a fantastic standard and is a joy to see punters returning. My only concern is the fight the pub now has with its Brewery owner selling the building with an application for change of use to offices for new owners. This would be short of criminal to Welsh heritage.”

“Absolutely love this place! Spotless clean,amazing view and fantastic breakfasts from the hotel next door. Came last year and rebooked during our stay and did the same again this year. The view is literally amazing, overlooking the sea, the staff are wonderful and we've found them to be very helpful(walking us over so I could park my car before check in and unlocking the gates for us) breakfasts are good value for the money. Haven't encountered anything at all to complain about ( the only thing is the people upstairs but that's not Victoria Mansions fault, it's an old building so to be expected.) Booked again for next year. Thanks Victoria mansion and Weston Super Mare for a fabulous weekend away”

“Amazing meal and fantastic service! We visited for a birthday meal with our dog after being recommended the Three Horseshoes by our AirBnB hosts and a local family friend. We were a little nervous after seeing some of the recent reviews but our experience could not have been more positive. Excellent menu, delicious food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!”

“It’s a very convenient solution for accommodation. Very clean in the room and also the kitchen which is very big. Use the parking area of ASDA which is only 5 min walking. The staff was also friendly. If you visit Cardiff, %100 recommend this place. Suitable for couples as well. No issue.”

“We stayed here the night before an early flight from Bristol airport, only 20-30 minutes away that time of the morning. This travelodge is everything you would expect from a travelodge. It was clean and welcoming, there is ample free parking and EV charging stations. Across the carpark is the Landing Light, a Marstons pub which was busy but very spacious, would recommend booking beforehand as we noticed that some walk ins couldn't be accommodated.”

“This was a great place to board our dog. Figgy had all the comforts of home and was undoubtedly spoiled! She got out on walks, even if the weather was bad, and as a bonus we were sent videos and pictures of her settling in. If peace of mind for your dog is what you are after, I highly recommend Happy Dogs Home Boarding. Easy drop off and pick up. Martin usually responds within the hour if you have any questions. He is obviously a dog lover himself.”

“Dexter loves going to Fran, he gets a separation Anxiety when away from us, but loves being in Frans house, so it means we feel relaxed & he comes away very happy! This is important to us! Fran & her family are dog lovers & it really shows, coz the dogs love them too!!”
