“The service was amazing, perhaps the best I've ever experienced. There weren't many vegetarian options as I went with a vegetarian (I am a meat eater). The beyond burger was very good (especially for a vegetarian burger). The cream soda wasn't sugary enough. The chicken finger were very good too. It wasn't cheap but definitely worth it, I recommend it as more of a birthday eat out than something casual. Please note that this is upstairs so if you are afraid of heights stick to the storefronts.”

“Being a solo traveller, the staff could not have been more welcoming. Flat iron steak cooked perfectly (great job to the kitchen team) and dealt with my food allergy with no fuss. I had been to their Bristol restaurant and I’m pleased to say that I was just as impressed with their staff and food. Worth going out of your way to visit them.”

“Just had a wonderful afternoon in the Welsh House, the food was of a very good standard, plenty of choice and well priced. The atmosphere was a cross between restaurant and bar, very relaxing and welcoming. We were attended to by the lovely Isabell who made us feel welcome. “Canton Chop Suey House, more like "was this food made in downtown Shanghai Chop Suey House". The food is succulent. The salt and pepper box did things do me that I haven't experienced since my 2008 Amsterdam trip! Prices are good, delivery is quick and customer service is always on point. Most importantly, there is a dreamy 5ft8 delivery driver. I've heard he goes by the name Teddie Erott, but I could be wrong! He has the most gorgeous green eyes, and gives top tier customer service to the people of Cardiff. If you are lucky to be served by this Godly young man, then make sure you give him a well deserved tip!”

“My first ever visit to a TGI Friday and I was rather impressed. The staff were friendly and management came out to assist with a specific dietary concern with my guest. The food was hot and beautiful, we even met Darth Vader in the reception entrance to the restaurant. The dips are fantastic, the burger very juicy and super tasty. A definite 10/10 and look forward to returning. By the time we left the restaurant it was buzzing with nearly all tables full. A very popular restaurant in Cardiff. “We visited the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill several times during our stay in Cardiff, as it was part of the Indigo Hotel. We had breakfast and lunch there while staying at the hotel. The restaurant is centrally located in Cardiff, but it can be a little difficult to spot because it is located on the 6th floor of the Indigo Cardiff. Upon entering, you are greeted by a very stylish and modern restaurant with a lovely grand piano and plenty of seating for drinks before or after your meal. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience. There was a range of options on the continental buffet, and you also get a choice from their breakfast menu. I had "The Favourite," which is smoked salmon, eggs, and avocado on sourdough. It was divine. The continental buffet had everything you would want, including fruits, cereals, pastries, a variety of breads, and more. We then stopped for Sunday lunch, which I have to say was absolutely fantastic. I started with French onion soup, which was sensational. Then, my husband and I both had the Sunday roast. There was so much of it that I couldn't quite believe it when it was delivered to the table. There was so much meat, and the beef was amazingly tender. There was pretty much every side you could want, including Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes, and a huge array of vegetables, including amazing cauliflower cheese. The service was also fantastic from start to finish. The whole team was highly professional and approachable. I personally cannot fault anything that we had, and every aspect was top quality. I would certainly recommend a visit if you're looking for a fantastic Sunday roast—but make sure you come hungry!”

“The best Italian food I've had outside of Italy and one of the best meals I've had in the last 20 years. Incredible dishes, served beautifully. Spectacular flavours. Vegetarian dishes available. A small number of beautifully flavoursome desserts. The staff were outstanding, kind, and hospitable. We were brilliantly looked after. If you haven't been, I can't recommend it enough. I already can't wait to go back. A wonderful little restaurant just outside the city centre. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. My wife and I just returned to celebrate our anniversary, and, once again, the food and service was incredible. This has become our favourite restaurant. 100% recommended.”

On 8 November, our party of 23 gathered to celebrate my niece’s 50th birthday and everyone – from the children to the most discerning guest – was impressed. The star of the show? The food: beautifully presented, rich in flavour and reliably excellent. Booking ahead meant we could all pick our menus, which made the evening run smoothly. The service was exceptional from start to finish: friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable. The fact the owner even has a French wine ready for me, knowing I prefer it, speaks volumes. Extra bonus: we were welcomed to bring our own birthday cake (and what a chocolate-tower it was!), and staff were only delighted to help make the moment special. “What am amazing pleasant experience dining here was last night, the staff were so friendly, service was so good and the food was amazing. I went for the specials, an amazing burrata, pesto and cherry tomato dish for starters which is so so good. For main the special was a fish ravioli, the ravioli was made from black ink pasta and (normal) pasta so it was white on one side and black on the other, it was filled with sea bass and prawns and the fish sauce was amazing. Such a delicate dish. It's nice to dine somewhere where you get such good food and service and still get get a decent bottle of wine for under £23. (The expensive pallet was also catered for with an extensive wine list available). Thanks for making us feel so welcome, and a lovely evening.”
