“Our son has been going to St Margarets for over 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. The rooms are beautiful and they have lots of space to play outside. The many is varied and if my son does not like the food that day, they always provide lots of healthy alternatives. The staff has always been thoughtful and helpful.”

“We stayed at Motel One Edinburgh-Royal in The One with View room, and it was absolutely perfect. The view was breathtaking — exactly what I had hoped for when planning our trip. After arriving from London, stepping into that room instantly washed away the fatigue and made me smile. The location couldn’t have been more convenient: just steps from Waverley Station, close to the airport bus stop, and within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile and other main attractions. Whether travelling by train, bus, or plane, this hotel is ideally situated — for us, having arrived by train and flying out later, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The hotel was stylish, peaceful, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and check-in was effortless after a long journey. As a non-native speaker, I wish I could’ve expressed my gratitude to them more fully in person — they truly made our stay wonderful. I’d love to return to the same room on my next visit to Edinburgh.”

“A great first visit to this soft play. The girls working were fantastic and so helpful. Coffee was great and good value for money. Kids really enjoyed it, will definitely return. Only thing I would say is I did need my coat, it’s chilly when it first opens. Didn’t affect the kids though.”

“I go to this school and it is the best place ever we get so many off opportunities like the school could get you into being a doctor, a scientist, a dancer , an engineer and so much more. before I moved to St George’s when me and my family were researching it we watched a video of all these great things we get to do and my dad cried because of it. We also work across the school with older and younger students and go on so many trips and go to camp. I have had the best four years of my life here and I know there will be more amazing things here at St George’s which I am so exited for and honestly St George’s has changed my life. If you have a little girl who loves adventuring and having fun then this is the school for her. Our school moto is yes she can.-Cara Wilson age 11 2024”

“We had our little boys 4th birthday party there recently and I was very impressed by the attentive staff, good quality food and reasonable prices for everything. The kids who came along enjoyed the day and cakes and snacks were excellent. thanks for a lovely day to all.”

“I decided to go with my own trusted expert fitter after reading some bad reviews about Wren kitchen fitters. I cannot be happier with the final result. The team at Wren Fort Kinnaird was very helpful in the design process which included several revisions with big and small changes to the initial idea. The delivery process was smooth and when one of the doors was discovered to be slightly damaged, it was quickly replaced without any problem and free of charge. The overall experience was great and I would recommend Wren as the supplier of kitchen pieces and appliances (you can ask to price match appliances if you find the same model cheaper elsewhere).”

“This next store is by far one of the best ones I have been in! Clothes for women, men & kids! A great home section from furniture, accessories, lighting, bathroom & kitchen ware! Also a Costa in store which is great as you need a break from shopping as stow is large”

“Great experience with our stay! Preeti and Chelsea welcomed us at the reception for the check in with a great and positive attitude. For dinner we found great food at decent pricing and the service was really fast and food was delivered piping hot! At breakfast we had lots of options so there are options for all ages. All the staff and ambiance were great and welcoming, making us feel like we were customers since forever. I definitely recommend as the experience was a definition of hospitality and great service!”

“Best quality meal ever!! All dishes, the crab tartlet, Cod, Venison, dessert were expertly and tastefully prepared and presented with care. One of us was dairy- and gluten-free, so plates for that person were customized. The wait staff were perfectly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes and libation options! And the view is incomparable!”

“Could not have been more delighted with the Laser Tag party package that we booked here for a late November 11 year old's birthday party. The facilities were fab, the food was good quality, the staff were all so lovely, and the laser tag part was so so well organised and fun. Huge thanks for a brilliant party.”

I've shared a few meals from here with my dad and no matter how full we feel after scoffing the generous portions, we're already planning what to try next time and how soon that should be! “Our daughter is attending this nursery and I couldn't recommend it more. The staff are great, really caring, understanding and accomodating, and provide great activities for babies and toddlers. When we pick her up we often find her in the staff's arms reading and playing. Our daughter rushes to the door every morning to go to the nursery and launches herself in the arms of the staff. As parents we couldn't feel more at ease with leaving her at the nursery and she has developed so much since she attended.”
