βOne of the nicest sites we have camped at. Great pitch size. A busy site, but didn't feel too crowded. The toilet and shower facilities were fantastic and extremely clean. Great showers. Cubicles had plenty of hooks for our clothes/towel/bag etc. Nothing got wet. Plenty of hand basins, with light up mirrors, and single Cubicles as well. Well stocked shop with reasonable prices. We were 2 adults camping so didn't use the playground or games room, but both looked great. The staff were pleasant, polite and friendly. Excellent location for Edinburgh city centre. Bus stop just outside drive entrance, with regular buses. Would not hesitate to recommend.β
βI come to this Nandoβs nearly every week with my partner and daughter, Love the food but Iβm giving this review too a man named James, we come in and out can tell this guy loves and cares about his role in the company, Always happy, always spares a couple minutes to ask about our week and goes the extra mile to give us a great service every time. The rest of the staff are great too - but James really stands out for me. Thanks to Nandoβs at straiton for delivering every time.β
βMark was so friendly and helpful. Give me some valuable suggestions and ideas. Just made my day!β
βWe had a great time bowling and playing the arcades.β
βWorks Christmas dinner. Absolutely fantastic food! The service was top notch too. Location is very handy for the M4 (Junction 15 is a stones throw away). Highly recommended. Photos don't include the bowls of accompanying veg.β
βGreat Experience at Funparx, Edinburgh! We had a brilliant time at Funparx! Booking was quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, fresh, and really well set up, with fantastic play facilities that kept the kids happy and busy. It wasnβt too noisy or overwhelming, which made it a pleasant experience for parents too. The price was reasonable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the other families there were lovely. Highly recommend β weβll definitely be back!β
βReally friendly staff, good sized screens and rooms. Only thing I noticed was that the audio seemed slightly out of sync on the left and right speakers but was only noticeable during music in the film.β
βAbsolutely exquisite, really good turkey that. Very much enjoyed my Sunday roast, lots and lots of fun. I will be returning hey there! the other person at the table here. that sunday roast was sublime. I was genuinely brought to tears by the flavours that exploded on my tongue, a true burst of warmth, comfort and of course nostalgia. I too WILL be returning.β
βHad a great time here! Everything was great as expected. Only downside is that getting a Taxi might take a little, so if you are in a hurry plan for some extra minutes. The staff is realy helpful with this. Breakfast was also good! Nothing too fancy but there are enough options to please everyoneβ
βMy daughter had her wedding reception at deer park golf and country club, deer park road Livingston on Saturday 28/06/2025 there was 180 guests at this reception and everyone had a great time bar prices were on average catering was good, and the DJ was excellent the room was spacious and the staff were very pleasant, the food for the buffet also was very good. My daughter was given a room to put all extra items in and presents and given the key to go back when she wanted to collect all the items. All in all very good and I can highly recommend this venueβ
βEasy to find, wheelchair accessible if you need this, plenty of parking spaces, permits required though. Coffee shop available to general public, not just staff.β
βA nice park for playing with the kids or walking your dog. There's a nice path around the grass for roller skating or cycling.β
βNice wee park, lovely place to enjoy the sun, I'm not sure if there's something everyone but me in loanhead knows but even in the sun the park is basically empty barring a couple of kids over in the kids area so you can get lots of peace and quietβ
βNice we park clean and tidy thanks to the community group who pick up litter every weekβ
βGreat for star watching as it's not lit up. And during day a perfect place to walk your dog. Also offers a playground for kids and an outside gym.β
βMe and my daughter had a very pleasant experience with one of the workers named Sean at the paint mixing counter. He couldnβt have been more helpful, much appreciated.β
βBeen a member for 11 years and been to a few locations and this is the first time I've written a review. John at fountain park was a pleasure. Very friendly and funny in between games. He is an asset to the team and I thoroughly enjoyed my time today.β
βAbsolutely fine. I highly recommend not waiting at the "wait to be seated" sign at breakfast. The waitress loves customers who do this. Seldom one gets to see adults employed in the service industry exhibit such interesting behaviour. Worth the trip alone ! Hurry up and book your stay before she gets a job she actually likesβ
βMichael our server was a very nice lad, genuinely happy person with great service. Sometimes at TGIs kindness can seem fake, but his was genuine. We had a great time and the food was great, and super filling. We did wait slightly longer for the first drinks to arrive, but this may have been due to the restaurant having lots of people in, for a lunch time, it isn't usually that busy. The staff coped well though. I'd be happy to come back here again.β
βSharon at the front door and Beth at the till both very friendly and welcoming. I really loved the atmosphere and the greeting arriving here after a long day from shopping. We changed places about 3 different times and it wasn't a problem at all. The 1st question I was asked if I had any allergies from both staff. We asked a few questions and was able to give a detailed answer followed by the code to follow onto the phone. I am still waiting to eatβ
βWe recently celebrated our daughterβs birthday at Fun Station and it was brilliant! The staff, especially Lauren, were incredibly helpful from start to finish. We felt really well looked after and every question we had was answered with a smile. The 50 minutes of unlimited play was fantastic value for money, the kids had the best time and didnβt want it to end. Highly recommend!β
βI really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is about 20 minutes walking from the center of town and is easy accessible from the street. The building is tidy and we'll maintained, both inside and out. The rooms are clean and fubctional. The car park is conveniently located at the back of the hotel and is accessible from both biuldings. The service is warm and welcoming.β
βmy favourite chinese takeaway in the area, the food is always so nice and it always arrives fast and hot. service is really nice too if you have any issues they are always very nice about it, love you lucky chenβ
βFor what you pay it's great value. Campus grounds are nice, Reception staff great. The bedroom is basic but the bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom is clean but basic. Breakfast is fab. If you're on a budget or want something a little different I'd highly recommend it.β
βInformal and cozy diner style place with signed guitars and old vinyls stuck on the walls and in the ceiling. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food - the Braveheart Burger topped with haggis was SO tasty! Jordan, our waitor, was the nicest person. We came around 18:45, so not too busy as they close at 20:00. The portions are huge, so come hungry. Highly recommended!β
ββββββ This was my very first stay at a Travelodge, and I can honestly say youβve gained a new loyal customer! The room was spotlessly clean, fresh, and comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent, with a great variety and quality that really exceeded expectations. Every member of staff was polite, helpful, and welcoming, but Iβd like to give a special mention to the supervisor (Michelle and Louise), who was truly exceptional. I have never met anyone so vibrant, cheerful, and genuinely passionate about their job. Their positivity was infectious β always ready with a smile, quick to help, and full of enthusiasm. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, offered brilliant local recommendations, and even shared fascinating insights about Edinburgh and its history. Itβs rare to come across someone who clearly takes such pride in their work and genuinely enjoys making guests feel at home. The supervisor is an absolute credit to Travelodge and made our stay unforgettable.β
βHad an amazing overnight stay for our early morning flight room was spacious and we had a family room. Beds were exceptionally comfortable Dinner was tasty and great portion size. Can almost touch edinburgh runway and could see some of the planes taking off. Would definitely stay again!check in and out was easy and fast even when it was a busy time.β
βEverything went very smoothly, from the security staff to the customer service team. We were applying for a France visa and paid extra for the 7:30 AM appointment, which was well worth it. Big thanks to Gwen, who assisted us so kindly and patiently, especially when helping us sort out the correct share code for our application (we accidentally used the employer one). Overall, the process was efficient and well-organized. My only small worry is that I only attached my employment contract along with my three most recent payslips β I hope that will be fine! But the staff made the whole experience easy and reassuring.β
βJust had an amazing steak with king prawns and all the trimmings. 10oz ribeye cooked to perfection by chef Robbie. This comes after an extremely disappointing steak at a well known commercial steak house on Saturday. Robbie smashed them out of the park with a great cut of meat, cooked and served perfectly by Andrew. Thanks to all the staff at Deer Park for a great stay.β
