“What a wonderful surprise in the heart of Merchant City! I'm a huge fan of Turkiye and Turkish food, and stepping into this place is just like being transported abroad in the best way. The service is characteristically warm and friendly in that way that all Turkish people are, the food is exceptional, the complimentary bread is delicious, and the portions are huge. Delighted - I'll be back!”

“I won't mark down because in principle I like this place, the staff are friendly, the cakes look nice. However today's iced latte was disappointing and to be honest went in the bin. I'm ok with running out of cups, and was advised of that. However putting in 6 pieces of ice meant that by the time I'd got outside and not even left the park it was not iced but rather a regular latte that had gone cold. Disappointing and ended up in the bin. Please don't ration ice, you're better than that!”

“The place was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent. Coffee good, fruit cake nice, roll and sausage good. But for two small "regular" coffees, 1 x cake, 1 x roll and sausage £14.30 was a little bit pricey.”

“Had a coffee. A perfect, lovely, delicious coffee. This place has a bathroom in the close next door and the tables are about the size of a large skateboard and the atmosphere is Mom n Pop meets 1920s Cafe, and the smells coming from the kitchen are miraculous... and I had a perfect coffee there.”

“Visited for an afternoon tea, was lovely in a fantastic setting. The food provided for two of us was more than enough and we loved all of it. The staff were careful to both remember and take into account my wife's allergy to cream providing her with a slightly different selection. Highly recomended.”

“Excellent little coffee shop. First time today. The flat white was short and spot on, not some big old milk fest like you get at Costa! Proper coffee here. There’s only a few tables; we bagged the last available one by the window and had a lovely time chatting and people watching out the window. The two baristas we dealt with were both professional, polite and brought our drinks over which was a canny little touch. I would definitely recommend and return when back in Glasgow.”

“we loved Benvenuti! our first time in Dumbarton and this little coffee shop was easy to find with google maps, friendly and timely service. the cappuccino was tasty and generous in size. I had a delicious scone that was warmed with butter and jam on the side. then after a while my husband and I shared a tasty sandwich. everything comes fresh. the decor/ furniture is comfortable, but not so cozy if you’re looking for more of a coffee-house vibe. but this is a wonderful place!”

“My wife loves this place but so do I. The two ladies in the shop are so nice and friendly. Cleanliness is spotless. Muffins were very nice,all the cakes look nice though! I had a toasted sandwich and the bread was excellent and the cheese and pesto filling delicious. My wife says the vegan sausage rolls are the best around. Whenever we are in Partick we will always pop in.”

“Had a lovely 3 night stay here last weekend with my 2 teenage girls. It's about a 5 kin rant ride from Cumbernauld train station. Not quite above but sort of above and to the side of a nice little pub. Didn't disturb us at all during the night. Lots of little food places and a spar and pharmacy doors away. In the cutest little village. Firstly the rooms where immaculate. Everything g was spotless. Bed where so so comfy. Plenty of places to put all our things. Didn't hear any other guests even tho I know the rooms where occupied so don't worry about noise. Went down to the pub bit in the morning. Had breakfast and coffee while we waited to go home. I didn't eat myself but my girls said the food was lovely. The girl behind the bar was absolutely lovely. So helpful and smiley which is always nice to see. Met the owner in there. Jacqueline. She was lovely too. So helpful and couldn't do more for us the entire stay to be honest. Will 100% stay here when I'm next in Scotland. Wouldn't even bother looking anywhere else now actually. Thanks again.x Also pictures don't do it justice. And we had unpacked at this point.”

“My boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch this February. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of information given about menu items and portion sizes. My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .”

“Staff are lovely, coffee is overpriced but it's to be expected with this type of establishment. Would appreciate more vegan cake/cookie options. You usually don't have to wait very long to get your drink and the quality of coffee is better than Starbucks/Costa.”

“The food is always amazing, and very quick, as long as you dont order hot food. The wait for hot food is always lengthy. I try and order cold food, as I'm normally always in a hurry. I do love the hot rolls, always great quality, thick bacon, butchers square sausage. The wait time is just very slow and off puting. This results on me using other takeaways. Sorry!”
