“Came here with our 2 year old daughter, husband and friends. Only have good things to say about this place. The staff were kind, patient, and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, great portion size, and just such a great all round experience. Thanks so much for having us we will definitely be back.”

“Now the main part of this review is to talk about the salt and chilli chips! Wow! We recently moved to the area and decided to get a takeaway while we were unpacking boxes, but only wanted a small meal so chose the salt and chilli battered chips and some prawn toast. It's like they're laced with drugs they are so moreish, tasty, crispy, with a little bit of a spicy kick, not too hot or I'd not be able to eat them, just enough. The prawn toast was full of flavour too, similar salty flavour with lots of sesame seeds and a sweet chilli dip. We managed to finish the huge portion of chips and the next night we were driving past, it took all our strength and willpower not to go back in for more! Recently we tried the shredded crispy beef with a lovely sweet honey and garlic sauce, and breast of chicken curry. We will definitely be back for more of those chips. Yum! The service is always quick and the person who serves has been polite and friendly each time,but looks clean and inviting. Plenty of choice on the menu too.”

“Foods excellent, really enjoyed it. I ordered the penne meatballs, the sauce was beautiful, meatballs were incredible. My partner ordered the soup and sandwich deal, thought £15 was steep, however the size and quality of the sandwich and soup showed why its worth the price, well worth it. Soup was 10/10. Service, hit and miss, were attentive, got us seated quickly, then after that it was radio silence. Probably an off day or short staffed. Highly recommend. Lastly, the lady with the lovely accent behind the deli counter was really friendly and definitely upsold us on the ice creams and brownies, definitely not complaining lol.”

“This place is lovely and the food was perfect, the staff were very friendly and always checked in with you. Staff seen me struggling to cut my son’s pizza and offered to cut it for us which was a good touch that they paid attention to their customers. I had the bruschetta to start which was lovely and fresh, then arrabbiata pasta for my main and again it was very nice. Portion sizes were perfect.”

“Tasty freshly made food to eat in and take away. Different fillings on Bagels, Wraps, Paninis etc and home made tarts, soups and sandwiches. Great choice and friendly staff.”

“A hearty and beautifully presented breakfast. Well seasoned beans complimented the sausages and bacon perfectly. The black pudding and potato scone added great texture, and the poached egg was perfectly soft. A must-try if you’re after a quality breakfast!”

“Everything is a 10/10. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and I haven’t had a pizza quite like that, the cheese was nice and stringy the pepperoni was great. Also had a side of Cajun seasoned fries and bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Cajun chips were perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing. The bread was nice and warm and soft fresh as well. Atmosphere was amazing we sat in the beer garden, lovely décor gorgeous place. Service was a 10/10 everyone was so lovely and had a great attitude. Food came fast only waited around 10-15 minutes and everything was fresh. Recommended to everyone”

“Had a fantastic meal here for our 9 year wedding anniversary. Had used the city centre restaurant numerous times but loved this one equally as much if not more. Our waitress iris was lovely so attentive but not intrusive The meal was as expected top quality Love the wine and cider selection Sangria is nice and also had a complimentary drink for our anniversary such a nice touch will be back time and time again”

“Excellent food and great service. Macaroni, Camembert bites and meatball spaghetti. All were excellent, good portions and prepared really well. We were there prior to a show and the place got really busy but the staff were flying about making sure everyone was attended to. Price is decent as well. Great little spot, will definitely be back.”

“I cannot share enough about this place. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious menu, wonderful options for those with allergens including dairy free, vegan, and gluten free. The staff is attentive but not overbearing and the food was absolutely delightful. This is worth a special trip! Don’t skip dessert either!”

“We came to The McMillan for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed it! Steak was delicious and service was really good. The restaurant had a really lively atmosphere for 5 pm on a Saturday and although it was really busy, the service and food were still very much on point. Looking forward to coming back again soon!”

“I am very picky with reviews. I will only do it when the place has either been utterly brilliant or totally absymal. Gloriosa is the former. So chilled and such a lovely, spacious interior with cool music playing. Beautiful high celings and big windows. And the staff, every one of them, were accomodating, kind, and they actually smile (not enough smiling going in these days). The waitress wasnt a robot all dolled up with fake makeup and eyelashes. She was just a nice, normal woman who listened and wanted the best for her guests. Food was 10/10. It didnt stand out as anything more than what it should be after everything that came before. Exactly what I expected from such a wonderful place and experience. I will definitely be back. Thank you. Oh - almost forgot because even if it was overly expensive, it wouldn't really have mattered but really decent prices too!”

“Had a small (7 person) Christmas lunch on 19th December with work colleagues. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. The waitress was fantastic and made sure everyone was attended to. Would recommend for future meals out.”

“So good I don’t even want to review in all honesty, my new favourite peri place absolutely. Just a shame it’s a 40 minute trip for myself but absolute worth it 100% Complete Nando’s feel to it, but done 10x better, doesn’t feel like fake chicken the same way black rooster can feel at times and perfect amount of seats to have a great dining experience. Second time coming here and getting the exact same meal being the ladz loaded box 1- wrap, peri fries and the hot chicken strips. Chicken cooked to perfection fantastic flavour, will happily be back again. And again. Amazing friendly staff too served by Katie and the others. Desert place next door I think is attracted but unfortunately don’t have the calories to try but feel like it’ll be just as good.”

“As An American in Airdrie, I experienced the most incredible risotto ever at this restaurant. It was truly five Stars. I also highly recommend the breaded garlic mushrooms for a starter. Very friendly and professional service and outstanding chefs.”

“We went here for my son's birthday, it's great to have such a nice Italian restaurant in our town. We hadn't booked but were welcomed in, and I'll say they could not do enough for us. Genuinely such a warm welcome and my little boy really appreciated it. Food wise my daughter enjoyed her pepperoni pizza, my son loved his cheese pizza, I thought my arrabiata was pretty good and my wife's tagliatelle was okay. I recommend the focaccia which was amazing, although my wife thought her arancini was just fine. I'd probably rate it as a 4 but we left it to the birthday boy who rated it a 5, and I was happy to rate it as a 5 because everyone was so welcoming. They do have a 2 course meal deal between 5 and 6 on certain days so I'd definitely recommend.”
