“Alan is just one of a kind. He is so lovely, welcoming and clearly takes pride in his kennels and truly loves looking after the Dogs and Cats there. This was so reassuring as it was Milo and Skye’s first time at a kennels. We picked them up and Alan had bathed and they were smelling lovely. Alan also gave our Dogs some treats which added to the already great service. 10/10. Thanks again Alan, we will definitely use you again and recommend your services.”

“Phenomenal, reasonably priced food. We had 2 sausage rolls (which didn't last long enough for a picture) a tuna roll, a latte, tea and cola and they were all SO GOOD!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping here for a delicious, quick, friendly meal. So nice to support local!”

“A beautiful urban reserve. Most of the flora have been left in a natural state giving the area the feel of a green oasis in the middle of the city. The iconic skyline visible from the viewing point is absolutely stunning!”

“Went there with some family including 3 children. Very stimuating for children with lots of very basic facilities. Excellent resouce in an otherwise residential area, well done to those who help stop the developers buiding more flats and allowed this wood to be used for the community.”

“Stellar sorted out the leak in our bathroom which had caused damage to the living room ceiling. They had to remove and replace the whole ceiling, repair the bathroom floor and fit a new toilet and cistern. All work has been finished to a very high standard, and Willie the project manager kept us up to date with what was going on, and answered any questions we had promptly.”

“Used the pool for the first time on Monday with my husband and grandchildren, two boys on reception were so welcoming and friendly didn't need to ask anything as they offered all information on the facilities available and how to use them they even took us through into the changing area which makes a change from other places we have been where we've had to sus things out for ourselves, pool was lovely will definitely be using again.”

“Lots of space, well maintained and laid out with bowls and fresh water for the dogs. Biodegradable poo bags also provided. Areas are described so that you can choose the one that best suits your dog. My nervous ex-racer greyhound loved it.”

“This is one of my favourite playgrounds in Glasgow. Its design is based on an ancient "crannog" water village and it is sighted right on the edge of lochend loch, where the remains of one of these villages were once discovered. There is an audio information point built into the playgrounds architecture to tell you more about the history of the site and there are fantastic views across the water from all around. The playground itself is clean, modern, has a good variety of adventure play equipment but is best enjoyed by those old enough to walk. Our 2 year old toddler was quite happy there but will undoubtedly get more out of it when she's a little older and more confident on her feet. In the meantime, the nearby Drumpellier Country Park Playground (on the other side of the cafe) has more suitable equipment for children her age. Plenty of picnic benches in the area for adults to sit on while supervising and a cafe, toilets and free car park just a few minutes walk down the path.”

“Lovely hike, steady incline with good footing. Beautiful 270 degree views the whole way up and back down. We did and up and back but you can do a loop. Private land so pay the small parking fee. Disappointed to see some rubbish along the way. Come on people”

“Love these fields! Such a lovely safe space to bring my dog so he can do what he loves best, be iff lead and chase his ball. The facilities are excellent, I can even take shelter and have a seat if it’s raining while he carries on unperturbed.”

“Great place to take kids for a walk. Lots of quiet secluded areas and perfect for picnics. Lovely scenery with streams and even some sheep and horses to be seen in the surrounding fields. Very muddy and boggy so wellies or outdoor boots a must!”

“The new winter menu is fabulous. Loved the special scallops with truffle tagliatelle it was so morish. The small plates thing works so well as you can try things you may not normally order. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Fascinating museum with much to see. I especially recommend the miners cottages through the ages. Main museum has much to see inside of it's raining. Nice walk around the outside with a play area if it's not raining. Good canteen and the wee sweet shop a treat. Friendly helpful staff. All free. It was a pity the tram wasn't running and a few exhibits outside are either covered or in need of attention.”

“We enjoyed the stay. The location was excellent - with restaurants just a minute of walk and grocery shop 500 meters away. The room was clean and the owner very nice. The parking lot was also ok. The only inconvenience was lack of sharp knives to cut a bread in the room. Otherwise all was really good.”

“Great place for walking the dogs with ample parking at various access points around the estate. The only downside for me now is all the erosion around the RSPB nature resulting in the closure of the pathway.”

“I'm giving it 5 as my grandson loved it. However, snacks, ice-cream and merchandise were a total rip off. Families struggle to take their kids to these events, without being ripped off. Spoils the experience.”
