“I’m now a regular visitor to this fab little café within the beautifully refurbished Levengrove Park, Dumbarton. The food is tasty, service is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The café is run as a social enterprise helping people who’ve had struggles with mental health, addiction or people with autism to get into work. The staff have always been lovely and attentive when I’ve been there. I can highly recommend a visit.”

“Both my partner & I were very pleased with the standard of the room, the quality of the food & the friendliness of the service, particularly the lady that served us for breakfast on the Sat morning (29th) I think her name was something like Natasha, a very happy person that was doing her very best to deal with everyone on a Sat morning, she just got on with everything, showing people to their tables, explaining about the continental breakfast, taking their orders & bringing the food to us as well, she was a absolute star, a lot of people wouldn't of handled that pressure, I think having a second person front of house would of just taken the pressure off & given the lady to time really offer outstanding service, but she was still brilliant. The rooms had a much better feel of quality compared to Premier Inn & Travel Lodge. We will be using you again. Thank you for a great stay.”

“This establishment is part of the Buzzworks empire in the Ayrshire county of Scotland. This first time visit was on a Monday evening and, as with their other establishments, has a pleasant ambience with good background music. Meals were very good as were the drinks. A little pricey but the norm these days, especially the drinks. Staff very helpful and did very well.”

“A magical place for kids to visit, you decide the story, or just visit and appreciate it's beauty. It's really probably linked to the mining history of the area, it has been said it was a ventilation shaft for a local colliery which would probably be correct.”

“This aquarium is genuinely lovely, and a great break if you’ve got some classic Scottish weather on your day out. I am a wheelchair user and found the aquarium to be pretty accessible, although you can checkout my review on RollMobility for more info. Its got some rough terrain inside, the way some aquariums like to be cute and create textures like bridges and pebbles in the floor. That being said, none of it was very intense or dramatic and I was able to manage alright. They have spacious elevators throughout. You may encounter a wait for the disabled restroom given the number of families. Lots of stuff is easily viewable and *touchable * from a seated position so like I really genuinely recommend it.”

“A stunning waterside destination, ideal for a day out with family or friends. The breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding hills make it a paradise for photography enthusiasts, while the variety of activities ensures there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The shopping area features charming boutiques and gift shops, and the cafes and restaurants serve delicious food with picturesque views. The SEA LIFE Aquarium is a hit with kids, though it’s a bit small for the price. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the walking trails, cycling paths, boat tours, and the adventure play areas for children. Seasonal markets and events add a lively touch, though it can get crowded during busy times. Parking is convenient but fills up fast, especially on weekends. A bonus is the availability of EV charging stations. Overall, it’s a fantastic, family-friendly destination offering a little bit of everything. Highly recommended for its serene views and relaxing atmosphere”

“Lovely park for a stroll with flowering trees and awesome fountain. Fountain Gardens is in Paisley, Scotland. It has recreational parkland and garden areas which are open to the public. The park is Paisley's oldest public gardens. Within the park is Grand Central Fountain, one of only three Category A listed fountains in Scotland. In the centre of the park an ornate fountain was constructed. The A listed fountain consists of dolphins, herons, cherubs and walruses. George Smith and Company of the Sun Foundry in Glasgow constructed the fountain. Stained-glass artist and designer Daniel Cottier was enlisted to paint and colour the monument. A £650,000 restoration project took place between 2013–14 to restore the fountain, which had deteriorated. Renfrewshire Council, Historic Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund provided the necessary funding required to complete the work. There was a gala day in September 2014 to commemorate the restoration of the fountain. Provost Anne Hall, nearby residents and local youth theatre group Pace were part of the celebrations. A statue of Robert Burns was erected in the gardens in 1896. It is sited adjacent to the fountain. It was constructed by Frederick William Pomeroy.[8][9]”
