“Beauty and peace here at all times of the year. My kids love it. Well worth the annual membership if you live nearby as it's not cheap for a single visit. Staff are always excellent. Lots of good gift ideas in the shops.”

“We've been here a few times now and really enjoy eating here the Steak & Ale pie is absolutely delicious, we met one of the owners today and have to say what a lovely lady she is and you can tell she really cares about this place and making sure everything is how it should be, it seems to me its more the a business to them and that makes the difference to other places I would recommend eating here even if you have to wait for a table then I would have a drink and wait for a table or ring in advance and book one you won't regret it! Can not comment on the rooms but after meeting Mary I'd say that they'd be lovely.”

“Visited as a family of 5 and had a truly amazing evening ! Lively atmosphere, well thought-out decor and incredibly friendly staff made us feel right at home . Ordered a mixture of dishes and each nicer than the other, no question on quality of care or presentation. Not to mention the waiters going above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. The experience matched the last one we had, glad to see they’ve upheld their high standards - looking forward to bringing some friends and visiting again soon, would highly recommend!”

“I ordered three pizzas, and I’ll admit, I’m always a bit sceptical because takeaway pizzas usually show up glistening like they’ve had an oil massage. These ones proved me wrong. No grease, great flavour, and they arrived piping hot. Even the doner kebab surprised me . Everything was packaged sensibly too: sauces separate, salad separate, nothing soggy or fighting for its life in the box. Overall, a very solid experience. Consider me officially converted into a regular.”

“My family and I have been going to Figaro since it opened and even when it was La Scala back in the day. You really cannot fault the staff or food they are fantastic. There are some foods I have never tasted better anywhere else, their steaks, prawns, tomato garlic breads and since last night, their tiramisu. Their pornstar martinis and liquor coffees are also top tier!! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Booking in again in a few days time for my Birthday, because they’re just too good! :)”

“While we were in the area we booked for a birthday, after a recommendation and can only say we are so grateful. From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

“Got a takeaway on a Sunday afternoon and I am not kidding you it was the best Chinease/asian I’ve ever had. Flavours were amazing, everything cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to eat that food again.”

“Lovely place for fish and chips in brid! This is our second time coming here, a year apart, and dare I say the best time! Fish is nicely battered and tastes very tender and fresh. Chips are perfectly crispy and fluffy. I had a chip butty and curry sauce. The portions are also very generous. It cost me £28 for a jumbo fish and chips, chip butty and large curry sauce. Then to make it even better you can sit inside with your dog!”

“There was a welcoming Atmosphere when we arrived. We were welcomed by the staff immediately when doors opened. The pub had a pleasant and warm environment. The food was excellent with generous portions.. We didn’t stay at the accommodation but would have gladly stayed as it is near a number of popular venues. There is a large carpark and free of charge.”

“Went today after a day at the beach as they do gluten free(yeah my life sucks). Was gonna do takeaway as near closing time but thought we’d ask on table. They were nothing but accommodating. The 4 people on the floor offered excellent service while ensuring I got my gf fish and some gf vinegar. Food was amazing we all loved it. And was great they all said bye to my little boy as we left. He had a huge smile. Highly recommended.”

“Not surprised they got Restaurant of the Year! Being a Greek from down south and staying up in Hull for the weekend. Wanted to see what Greek food was on offer. Wow, The Greek didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter, halloumi fries and the Calamari. All the meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff where lovely and the restaurant well well-presented. If you're in Hull and you love good food check it out!”
