We've ate in top restaurants around the world but we're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Small little restaurant with open kitchen. Great friendly staff, clean and amazing food and service. “Cerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food,wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.”

“Absolutely incredible authentic Sicilian food. Amazing value for money and the mixed grill did 2 of us! The owner’s lovely mother came and spoke to us about the history of the restaurant and we felt so welcomed and at home. The inside decor was beautiful and the lovely waitress who saw to us was amazing too. Could not ask for a better overall experience! Thank you.”

“Wow!! Absolutely amazing, we've tried many country pubs and none come close to the Falcon. We both had the Sunday roast and it was unbelievable, everything was hot, fresh and plenty of it, we just ran out of stomach space. We've already booked in again, but with our family this time. The staff were so nice, happy and attentive and what a great atmosphere, so glad we have tried the falcon, can't wait to be back.”

“I ordered Chicken Tikka Karai, Mushroom omelette, and Tarka dal. All 3 dishes were excellent in quality in terms of taste, potion size and freshness. I came to Hull for work and randomly found this Indian take away on Google map. I have been eating McDonald's, Subway's and Greggs. Today I thought I'll have some hot cooked food and fortunately I found this place right opposite to my accommodation in Holderness road. I was surprised to eat such high quality fresh food with right amount of spice and excellent taste. I will definitely recommend this take away restaurant and I will give a more than Five star rating.”

I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price. Red Chilli is more than just a restaurant for me; it’s a piece of home away from home. If you’re looking for an authentic Nigerian dining experience in Hull, this is it – nothing else comes close!”

This place never stops conquering my heart, the food remains incredibly tasty and delicious and the coffees are outstanding. Also, the portions are generous for a great price. Normally little shops who have regulars are "off" with newcomers and with my anxiety i cant wait to leave... well not this place I walked in and was greeted like a friend, I felt comfortable (also because the seating is super comfy) plus my little dog was welcome and got a sausage on the house! “I love their pho. We ordered one pho and it was good for the three of us. Then we ordered grilled pork belly with rice. The servings were big. My stomach cannot take much. And the food is flavorful. This is one of my go to places after an exhausting day at work, my comfort food. .”

“I had dinner here with my boyfriend. The food was excellent and the service from most of the staff was great. The servers were kind and attentive. However, one male waiter avoided our table and the tables of other Black women. He was friendly with other customers but standoffish with us and really communicated when he came to our table or the table of the other black women. This left a negative impression despite the otherwise good experience.”

The menu provided a plethora of fresh and delicious options, creating a tough choice with so much variety. The atmosphere was lovely, and the extensive selection of vegan alternatives was impressive.
