“This is definitely the best Weatherspoons I have ever visited. The staff were very efficient in clearing and cleaning tables down as customers left ( something that lets its Rochdale branch Regal Moon down). Staff were also friendly and polite. The Commercial Inn has a bright airy feel to it and a calm relaxed atmosphere and a lovely view of the church opposite. Our food was nice and hot and well cooked. Excellent value for money too, we had the large breakfast which included a hot drink with free refills, a very pleasurable experience. It will definitely be my go to for breakfast when staying in the area.”

“This is my go to pub of choice. The food is consistently good. Any slight issues are promptly and professionally resolved..... The beer (ale) is consistently good. The staff are more than willing to assist in anything required..... There are a few people with mobility / age issues / problems. It's so heart warming to sit and watch the staff bring their drinks, their condiments and their change back to them with a pleasantry not seen in any other pub in Huddersfield. Can't fault the pub. It is definitely a place where all people are constantly welcomed...... Im a Yorkshire man - so I'm not easily impressed / pleased. Overall 10/10. Also : the toilets are on the same level, so no steps. ☺️”

“An above average wetherspoons, great decor usual atmosphere as it was a breakfast visit, food is good and drink is really cheap £2.89 for a pint of Guinness. 2 breakfasts and 2 pints for under £13, can't go wrong.”

“The broken bridge is a nice cosy wetherspoons pub with an outside seating area. There is an extensive range of beers lager and cider including six hand pulled cask conditioned real ales some i have not seen before, the ramsgate gadds she sells seashells was particularly good. The ones we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and efficient the service was quick despite the pub being very busy. I will definitely come back next time i am in the area.”

“Absolutely beautiful food and very accommodating they let me order off the other menu with more vegan options . I had a vegan starter and main and they were both amazing and the presentation was like eating at a very expensive restaurant. My partner and kids had non vegan food and the presentation was just as good and their feedback was that the flavour was top notch. I would 100% recommend for anyone looking to eat out locally and would even encourage people to travel to eat here. I will be returning and thank you for a warm atmosphere and again beautiful food.”

“Delicious food. So tasty and fresh. The meatballs are so succulent, the chicken lovely, non fatty chunks. Tzatziki is very cool and the feta in the Greek salad is so creamy. Delivery is on time and nice delivery people. I once won a free meal in their weekly Facebook page giveaway. I was so excited. Ha.”

“Absolutely amazing. Had a little mini moon at the premier in next door and chose this pub as our evening meal both nights. The 1st night we order from the normal menu. Food was out quick. Decent portions. Amazing flavours. Chiabata to die for. Cocktails are strong but amazing. Second night we ordered the 3 course menu for 15.99. Timing amazing. Food amazing. Staff are so attentive and make your experience a great one. For a pub this Food was on par with a restaurant. We didn't tell anyone that we was on honeymoon. We just enjoyed the amazing service as normal everyday customers. 5 star. I defo will be returning.”

“Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. Julie and Lawren (hope I’ve spelt correctly) were a credit to the establishment, thanks, Gerald”

“Fantastic festive family get together for seventeen of us this afternoon. Fabulous food and admiral service from the staff who coped well with our large party. The festive burger with half a melted Camembert was amazeballs! Highly recommended and exceptional value.”

“Good old fashioned proper pub with local support, haven't been for decades and thought it had closed down. Lady behind the bar was nice and friendly, and dog friendly which is a bonus for me as some are quite fussy regarding pets, Beer was excellent, I'm glad I found it again and will be back more often, Superb.”

“Upon arrival it feels like a typical sub-urban pub in Leeds full of locals which is what you’d expect. The management, staff and locals are really friendly and they have started serving a Jamaican menu with authentically cooked food, which is absolutely amazing if that’s what enjoy, the food certainly took us back to Jamaica!”

“Frankie + Lola's was absolutely fabulous everything about it from entering until leaving. We took our disabled grandson out for tea with a few friends, we were let down by the wacky Warehouse. My wife rang Frankie's last minute the manager Lucy was brilliant she told us to come straight down my grandson had a fabulous time, all the staff bent over backwards for us all, the food was excellent all the kids are everything.the climbing frames are safe and great for all ages. Again thankyou very much Lucy and her team.”

“I've been coming to the eastfield since it was Charlie Chalks. From working here as a teen to now coming with my family 15 years later. I've never had a bad meal, it's very well priced to other options. A small cohort of staff who have been a familiar face the whole time too. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Stopped at this pub while on an errand because I needed to use a toilet. Since I had some extra time I ordered some chips with beef and spicy sauce for 4.30. Absolutely delicious and prepared in under 5 minutes. Staff was nice and helpful. Will stop by again if I come over to Burnley again”

“On Saturday my friends and I popped in for a drink. We decided the menu looked good and very reasonably priced so we’d have a light bite. Mine arrived but it wasn’t what I ordered - it was very quickly replaced with no fuss Halfway through my meal I nipped to the loo. The remains of my meal were cleared away as my friend thought I’d finished. I hadn’t. I asked our waiter if he still had my meal - he didn’t. No problem not staff’s fault. Ten minutes later a whole new replacement arrived in a takeaway box. I hadn’t even asked for it. Jed served us, was charming, efficient and went above and beyond expectations. Thank you Jed so kind!”

“Greeted with a smile by friendly staff who were only too happy to take us to our reserved table. They asked if we had any special requirements, allergies etc. They were so attentive throughout, we were allowed to eat our meals in peace without being disturbed. The only downside to the evening was the fact my husband has sensory issues which we were catered for by way of a quiet area but some adults allowed their children to run around screaming which made us leave early. The staff and manager were in no way to blame for this as it is a family friendly establishment but it would have been nice if the parents of the children showed a little respect for others dining this evening. “Came here for a family meal, This pub is very inviting, warm, cosy and friendly. Food portions are very good and well priced. The only thing they didn't have today was ice cream for the desserts but overall very nice.”

The I assume owner that runs the place is super nice and makes sure you are well catered for. Portions are good size and the kebabs & shawarma are great here too. “Went yesterday for a carvery lunch. I had gammon and beef - and the meat, as well as all the trimmings, were delicious. I’m gluten free and the team were really helpful, giving me a separate jug of gluten free gravy. There was a really nice atmosphere in the pub and all the staff were really friendly. I would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing tawaa meal!!! Quick service. Friendly and honest staff Everything was cooked in an authentic home cooked way and meats were cooked perfectly. Exactly what I craved. Eating from a tawaa was a fun experience and the food was fresh and hot. Would definitely come again and highly recommend. Absolutely gorgeous interior which makes it a nice day out and makes lovely pictures and memories They have a prayer area aswell which is so convenient and helpful A show stopping place that i'd definitely take others too, specially in laws and family.
