“Will is an exceptional personal trainer who’s transformed my fitness over the past year. His tailored sessions, like legs day, have boosted my strength and pushed my VO2 max to 46—a milestone I never thought possible! He’s patient yet challenging, adapting to my pace while keeping me motivated, even when life gets busy. His knowledge shines through in every workout, and he’s created a space where I feel empowered, not judged. Recently, his encouragement helped me power through a tough session despite mental lows, showing his real care. If you’re seeking a trainer who blends expertise with support, Will’s the one. 5 stars—highly recommend!”

“Fantastic 2 day stay. Hotel in beautiful grounds with plenty of parking. In a residential area within easy walk of town centre. Love an old hotel that has been modernised. Friendly helpful smartly dressed staff. Room was comfortable with all the facilities you require, including a fan. Clean and modern. We were on the back which was quiet. Breakfast had a good choice and was fresh. We had an evening meal, served in a lovely restaurant. Will definitely stay again. No complaints.”

“Beautiful hotel. Our room was plain, but had all we needed including a comfortable bed. Our evening meal was lovely and the young waiting staff did a great job. They were all efficient and also pleasant and friendly. The reception staff were also helpful and friendly. Breakfast had everything we could possibly have wanted. Not a single negative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“A stayover for a murder mystery in Harrogate. It was a fabulous experience From arriving to leaving. Although a cashless hotel they have items for sale such as jewellery (gorgeous) gloves and handbags on display which were for sale with cash (glad I took cash as I bought some jewellery). The staff were lovely and helpful the food was delicious. The hotel was clean and well kept. I do have 1 small complaint there is a charge of £12 to park there which when booked was not advised of. However just so people are aware I did not see the information on the website (maybe I missed it). The murder mystery dinner was really excellent. Would recommend both the "murder mystery" and the hotel.”

“Beautiful place and an amazing breakfast! Seemed like fresh local produce for breakfast? Im not a big fan of the full English breakfast, but here I absolutely loved it! Everything from the food seemed exquisite and tasty. The grounds are amazing and I felt like my room was haunted. I'm 36 years old and I slept with the covers over my head! Love this place and will visit again!”

“After a long hike in the rain me and my partner stopped for a bite to eat and a drink at this quaint little pub. The staff were lovely and dried our coats by the fire while we got some delicious food. For anyone looking for a digital detox and some great conversation be sure to pop in if you’re in the area.”

“I attended both the Daisy birthing classes and the active birthing workshop with Kayleigh Burton and found them both excellent. The Daisy birthing classes helped me to prepare mentally and physically for the birth of my baby, through learning breathing techniques to use in labour, and movements to help get my baby into the optimal position. I also learnt about how my body works, which helped me to understand how to get the best from it during my labour. The classes made me think about what choices were available to me, including where to give birth and what type of pain relief to use. The active birthing workshop reinforced what I had learned, and gave the opportunity for my husband and birth partner to gain the same understanding in order to best support me on the day. It also helped him to prepare mentally for what to expect, and gave us both confidence in the decisions I had made. I think if I hadn’t attended these classes the birth experience would have seemed a lot more confusing and scary. Kayleigh made the antenatal education both memorable and enjoyable and I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“Superb, professional staff: my car ran into engine problems, so I parked it on the car park. The reception staff came out to offer assistance and cold drinks on sweltering 30C day. This was heaven sent with the air conditioned reception offering a welcome respite for my wife young daughter, nephew, and mum, while I waited for breakdown assistance. It's refreshingly pleasant to know first rate customer service is still out there. Thank you sincerely from myself and family.”

“Had a lovely 3 night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are genuinely friendly and take time to engage with their guests - we really felt welcomed. The buffet breakfast selection was good and items regularly replenished. The location is very central - it's an easy walk from the station, and public transport is good. Also lots of cafes, bars and eating places nearby. We took local buses to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and to Sandal Castle, and hopped on Wakefield's free bus to get to and from the Hepworth Gallery. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great place at great value so close to the city centre, which is only around 20 minutes on foot. Yes the furniture in the room was a little dated, and the wallpaper and paint could do with freshening up, but the rooms are clean and tidy and provide all the amenities with a spacious bedroom and en suite. Rooms are always warm, which was more than welcome from the biting cold outside. If I had to make any criticism it would be the mirror in the bathroom, as I am short, fat and hairy, I had to stand on my tiptoes to shave. But the hosts here are great, and always checking to make sure things are ok and that you have a plentiful supply of tea bags and coffee. They also provide off street parking to the rear of the Inn and while I didn’t sit the bar, it looked like a great place to unwind and they offer bar snacks should you get peckish.”

“Charming place to stay in Wakefield. My friend and I came to stay from Edinburgh to go and see the Yorkshire sculpture park and we had a lovely stay. We got a big, comfortable room with a double and a single bad for a very good price, and for just 5 pounds more we both got free WiFi and breakfast! It was really worth it because the breakfast was nice and very abundant. It had everything from cereal, to full English breakfast. The women working there was also lovely, very kind and helpful. The location is also good, rather close to the station.”

“The rooms here are so clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. In this heat we were happy to see they had a fan in the room. Good shower, TV, everything you need. We asked to have a room away from everyone else because some hotels can be so noisy with people coming in and out their rooms. But here it was completely silent. The staff are also really nice making sure you have everything you need on check in, very accomodating and also making sure we enjoyed our stay when checking out. I think if you have a car it would be good for being a little out of the way of the city centre. There's not much around the hotel but there is a Toby carvery next door, a petrol station and an Asda within walking distance. All in all it was great and exactly what we needed.”

“I stayed one night here recently and I wish I stayed more! The hotel is in central location, just beside the train station. The lobby area was nicely decorated and people at the reception were friendly. I learned that rooms here has nice view of the city, so I requested for one at higher floors. The room I got was at the 19th floor and the view from up there is exquisite. You can spend hours sitting on the window bench, looking at the city and landscape far away. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was also quite big and with a bathtub. I will definitely go back this place many times.”
