“Came here on a Saturday afternoon with the kids and it was busy so we were lucky to get a table. They’ve done a great job of renovating this place with a fresh lick of paint and beautiful artwork on the walls. The owners are on the floor serving tables alongside the waitresses which is really nice to see. Food was great and the milkshake was outstanding. We will definitely be back.”

“Wow, I've often walked past this quaint little cafe, so today I decided to pop in and give it a try ( yes, I'm a person whom likes things a certain way, plus as a chef I'm over curious about whom cooks for me), So, after a gentle wandering around I thought why not, try it nothing to loose, and, boy was I surprised by everything indeed. Staff was so polite and friendly, place was warm and cosy too. Not like most place were they keep doors open hoping for customers, or having loud music playing, again hoping for customers. I ordered a large breakfast, thinking it'll be the usual standard small plus extra bacon, NO, it came with everything plus more, to the point I was unable to finish it,my tea was how tea ( in my views) should be,not too dark,not too light, just the right brew for me. I found everything clean,tidy, relaxing, staff are a full credit to this establishment, will I be returning???? Of course, Why? Because I want to try their Sunday roast, which I understand you need to book early as they run out fast. So folks, pop by, try for yourself.”

“Gorgeous afternoon tea, served and made by lovely staff. It is extremely reasonable, and you get a full sandwich, a large slice of cake of your choice, and a huge scone with jam and cream. Then, on flowing tea or coffee £14 PP. Absolutely gorgeous food and a lovely afternoon.”

“My wife and I had function for 30-40 people. The food was buffet style, with plenty of choice,few types of meat,salads,dips,mezes,all fresh and super tasty. The dedicated bar was serving only our area, plus waiting staff for our function only.The best part was that we, could play our own music. As my wife is a part of Bulgarian folk dance group, this was a great opportunity to practice their skills. We were left to enjoy the food and party without any pressure from the management. Our family had time of our life there,and I will look forward to use this restaurant in future. Thanks a lot:)”

“This place was amazing. Most other places in the quarter already had their kitchens closed at 2000 but they were open and it was quiet inside. I had a hamburger with pulled pork on it and it was incredible. Staff was all nice and the food came out quickly without being so quick that it was premade like another place in the quarter.”

“Al Dente Restaurant We had dinner at Al Dente last night, and I highly recommend booking a table in advance, as the restaurant is quite popular. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with a lively yet comfortable ambiance. Food & Drinks The menu offers a great selection of dishes. I ordered the sirloin steak (medium-rare)—it was flavorful, though slightly chewy in some parts. We also tried the lamb with mashed potatoes, which was incredibly tender and full of rich flavor. For pasta lovers, we sampled the Carbonara—delicious, creamy, and very filling (we couldn’t even finish the whole portion!). The shrimp pasta was equally tasty and satisfying, making it a great choice for seafood enthusiasts. Service & Overall Experience The service truly stood out. The waitstaff were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, helping us choose dishes and making sure we had a great dining experience. Their attention to detail added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're looking for a delicious Mediterranean dining experience in a warm and welcoming setting, Al Dente is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!”

“Very nice place with lots of fun and fantastic food! The price was reasonable; we paid £42 for 2 hours for 2 kids. The only issue was that it was very busy, and we couldn’t find a table to sit at for about an hour. This was understandable, considering it was the school half-term. Otherwise, we had a great time!”

“Fantastic venue for a children's party. Huge floor space for dancing, games, roller skating and plenty of seating with tables. There is a stage for an entertainer/band and disco lighting. The toilets are clean and accessible for all. A really great place for kids to run around safely and have fun. Really friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. The hall is also very safe for kids use as all external doors are code operated.”

“Had a great evening. The building is beautiful being situated right on the river, but the internal decor is just fantastic, giving real redneck American vibes. From the moment I arrived all of the staff were great. Really friendly and attentive without being over the top and annoying. I had fajitas which were incredible - genuinely tasty! “Blue Bell is an absolute gem! Housed in a charming Tudor building, it offers lovely, cozy vibes and the food is simply scrumptious. We especially loved the tapas—highly recommended! “Came back here as I remember really liking the place as a child and was still amazed with how good the restaurant still is. Me and my partner came into the restaurant at 19:30 on a Friday and greeted by the staff which were super friendly. The restaurant was very quiet as well which was very nice to see so we had no problem being seen when we needed to by the staff. Great selection on the menu and we chose the Seafood platter which we both really liked the look of as well as some extra garlic bread. We both really enjoyed the food. Although we would suggest avoiding the garlic bread as it was £4.70 and we only got two small pieces which we didn’t think was too great. Although we thought the seafood platter was really good for the price. We both really enjoyed all the food and would definitely come again.”

“Excellent Sunday lunch and vey good value in today's financial climate (2 dinners for £22). All was presented in a large Yorkshire pud with plenty of meat, veg and gravy. Staff are very plesent and helpful although we had wine there is a large selection of craft beer.”

“We visited as a group of 14 for a hen party on a busy Friday evening. Zeytin helped with our booking, pre orders, allowed us to decorate our table with balloons and accessories and gave our bride to be a fabulous welcome. The food was delicious, service was first class and nothing was too much trouble. All 14 starters and main meals came out seamlessly and staff were attentive with drinks. “The family and I have been coming here for years. Absolutely adore this place. Always great service and fantastic food and tasty wine. It truly is the hidden gem of Chester, we always recommend Pacino’s to our friends. Took my mum here today for her birthday. As always, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. I had the house red, the pork ribs and goats cheese bruschetta as a starter and then the lamb shank with a side of super tasty vegetables for the main. And of course I had to have a dessert - cheesecake! Everything was fantastic. Cleared our plates as always. Pacino’s really makes you feel like part of the family. You’re welcome in with open arms and served such delicious food. We’re all so ready for a nap now. We’ve had a lovely evening. Always come here if you get the chance.”
