“I've read some bad reviews on this place but honestly can't for the life of me figure out why. First time in here after driving past most days for nearly 2 years, and I'm glad I stopped in. It's not far from the bus stop so getting here and home is easy. It's an old school pub, but it is nicely decorated. Seems to have been refurbished recently, and looks good for it. Not tried the food but the beers on offer are well selected. Definitely be back here. Cheers!”

“It’s a good location inside the petrol station. Four self tills and a staffed till, food was quick and actually hot. They accept the app in here unlike the A55 location beside Travelodge.”

“Great staff and gluten free food is cooked in a separate deep fryer, though if it's not running can take a while to cool up, took about 20 minutes for our food to be cooked including the time for it to cool up, food tastes amazing!”

“Visited here for a family birthday celebration as part of a group of 13 people. The place is just amazing inside, with fantastic views and a great outdoor area for when the weather is nice. The food, atmosphere, staff were all exceptional too. Food all served at same time, which is not as easy as you'd think for a large group. The staff were charming, happy and couldn't do enough to make our night memorable for all the right reasons. All in all, it was a brilliant night and I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back for our next special occasion.”

“Visited for the first time today for my dinner in work. My work colleagues have had takeaway from here before they told me it was really good. The restaurant wasnt your average chargrill house, it was really warm and had a rustic vibe to it. I ordered the 6oz cheeseburger with sweet chilli sauce and fries. Being a well travelled and massive foodie I've got to say this was without a doubt the best cheeseburger I've had in years! Absolutely gorgeous food! Way better than anything else I've found in Chester even the posh new food courts where the old bus stop used to be. Staff was very friendly and explained what shwarma was to me and even let us try the cold Greek drink they serve in like a milkshake mixer free of charge to see if we liked it. 100% I will be visiting regularly from now on. My only negative thing i can think of is that I haven't been to this place sooner!”

“Went in on probably one of the busiest days. The first pint of Boltmaker was a bit cloudy,but the barman quickly poured another for me and the rest were delicious. Considering the crowds, the food service was quick and the food nice. No problem getting serviced either at the bar.”

“Stayed in the hotel and had £40 credit to spend on food in the bar so an obvious choice for an evening meal. Excellent food the burgers were really tasty and filling. The chips were warm and tasty. Service staff were very friendly and helpful, drinks and food were all brought out quickly and we were well looked after. Really enjoyable dinning experience, lovely big screens to watch the England final and great social distancing measures in place. Would recommend and visit again even if not staying in the hotel.”

“I was shocked that this place has had some bad reviews, because every single time we’ve ordered it has been amazing. Always plenty of toppings on the pizza compared to other places for the same price. You can tell they clearly know what their customers want! Plenty of cheese, chicken or pepperoni etc. Every time I visit my boyfriend’s place we order from here because it’s IS A CRAVINGG!! If any small business deserves its own chain of restaurants , it’s definitely this place.”

“The remarkable atmosphere of the restaurant made my dinner pretty pleasant. I ordered a medium steak. It came out perfectly cooked and melt in my mouth. Attentive and friendly stuff performed an excellent service. The restaurant is situated near the hotel bar so I was listening a live singer while eating. The experience was really good! This restaurant is worth to visit!”
