βThe friendliest veterinary surgery ever! James was so helpful and reassuring for me and my puss cat Felix!! We have been members of Evans with previous pets for years, and we will continue to stay with evans for any future animals as they never disappoint!β
βThey really look after our Luna. Sheβs wagging her tail on the way in eager to say hello to them allβ
βAlways helpful, always friendly. Our pets have the best care at Castle Vets.β
βWe moved to this practice after multiple bad experiences at our last practice and couldnβt be happier. Weβve just had our 1 year old collie spayed and she came home happy even immediately following the procedure. She was clearly well looked after and we were told she had lots of cuddles (which she clearly did, Iβve never seen a dog come out of surgery so happy!). The reception team are always friendly and helpful. There was a mistake with our flea&wormer order but this was fixed within a couple of minutes with no fuss. The team are all very knowledgeable and clearly care a lot about their work. The only downside is parking can be a little tricky as the road is small and there isnβt a lot of spaces.β
βAlways very friendly on reception, hardly ever waiting more than 5 minutes after the appointment time. Vets and nurses are exceptional, and have great advice for any questions and concerns.β
βAlison is the most wonderful vet, she's looked after all our sharpeis over the years. Can't fault her in anyway.β
βWe cannot recommend ChesterGates emergency vets highly enough. Our 9 week old kitten was admitted as an emergency with breathing difficulties just before Christmas. He was diagnosed with a disphragmatic hernia and, as he was not breathing normally without oxygen, his only hope was high risk surgery which had never been performed on a kitten so young. Today, Christmas Day, he came home to us - our Christmas miracle. The staff at ChesterGates are amazing people, doing amazing things in the most caring way.β
βAbsolutely brilliant dealing with our 2 old english bulldogsβ
βLovely little vets, always kind and helpful. Of course, it'd be great if they were open every day, but it is what it is. Pet plan is very helpful, and my Oreo isn't nervous going there at all which is brilliant.β
βFabulous vets very welcoming experienced staff wouldnβt go anywhere elseβ
βHave been visiting this surgery for a number of years and always found them to be helpful and caring and always give good serviceβ

βIβve just moved to this vets due to relocating and the staff have been so friendly and helpful. The communication whilst obtaining my dogs records from my previous vet and getting my new patient appointment booked in was amazing (this was Kirsty I think). We attended our new patient appointment today and the vet, Lucy, was lovely. Thank you!β
βMy visit to Thingwall yesterday was excellent. Easy to book, I was seen as soon as I arrived. The receptionist was great and the vet was kind, clear and really reassuring. I couldnβt have asked for moreβ
βFrom day 1 of taking on a very anxious & stressy boy, Lucy has always showed amazing patience & empathy. When tumours first appeared at 20 years young, her 2nd opinion saved him & gave me 5 yrs more of heaven with my boy. So, cancer is back, he's also struggled over Winter & recently had a seizure. Yes, been a very tough few months. Lucy is honest, manages your expectations in the kindest possible way. I know we are on borrowed time but I still have the love of my life thanks to Lucy. I cannot thank Lucy enough, I'll enjoy every moment I spend with my soul mate & know that when the time comes, she will be with us at the end as she was at the beginning. Thank you Lucy, there are no words to express how much your support means to me β€οΈβ
βAlways a trusted, friendly, professional service from all staff here. Any animal would be in great hands and the owners reassured and well informed.β
βThankyou to Hugh & Eleanor for taking great care of my lovely old dog Cherry, who was put to sleep on Friday. Due to Covid rules i couldn't be with her ,but I know they cared for her to the very end.β
βVery friendly staff, great treatment for my dogβ
βMyself and my partner got our 2 kittens and registered with The Gatehouse, on our very first arrival to the vets we were greeted with the most warm welcome I think I've ever experienced. The waiting area was spacious and clean. We have had the very same experienced every time we have been there and even when we have spoken to the reception on the phone. Unfortunately myself and my partner don't have a car and inevitably had to register somewhere where a lot closer to us. I would always recommend this vets to anyone especially if you have the means to get there. You won't regret it they also provide the pet plan which I always think is worth the money in the long run. I don't have anything bad to say at all the only thing that's difficult is that the actual surgery is located in Rossett. However if you can drive this most likely won't be a problem. We were so gutted to have to leave them and even with this in mind they were so lovely about the whole thing. You won't find a better vets.β
βAll the staff at Bridgefoots are so thoughtful and helpful. The compassion show, how dignified and peaceful when Gunn had to be given eternal sleep. Thank you to all .Denise and Samβ
βAbsolutely fantastic! My cat was neutered here and they were so great with him, I was happy knowing he was so well looked after, they kept me updated the whole time and I was able to use the cats protection voucher. With this they did the op and we also had two check ups within the next few weeks which were included in the cost. They also treated him when he had an infection from a cat bite, they were quick and efficient and he made a full recovery. The quality of service you get here for the cost is unbelievable. Iβve recently taken out a pet plan for my dog which is also very affordable considering everything thatβs included. The building itself is always clean and the reception staff are kind and very helpful. Iβve had many pets who have been registered at multiple different vets on the Wirral but this is by far my favourite. Canβt recommend them enough!β
βWe had to sadly attend on a Sunday morning emergency with our boy Kolo. He was very unwell, but PDSA and the vet and veterinary nurse were just amazing. We had to put kolo to sleep, but they were so kind and considerate and everything I had always dreaded happening never happened. It was so peaceful and kind and humane, I will appreciate that vet forever. Thank youβ
βThe vet I saw yesterday was amazing. I canβt rate him enough. My dog wonβt let anyone near her ears and he was so calm with her and she let him out gel in her ears. She was like a diff dog!! The lady on reception couldnβt have been more helpful either. I really hope this vet stays as I will definitely go back if he is there.β
βTook my old Shih Tzu Teddy to Upholland on Friday morning , I honestly thought he was a gonner he got ill and deteriorated so fast in a few hours. We saw a tall blonde Irish vet she was brilliant, straight forward and advised us to admit him for a drip, bloods and antibiotics which we did. I picked Ted up at 5.30 and although still very poorly he had improved so much, now two days on he is brighter, happier and eating and drinking. The vet nurse and receptionist were also great and a pleasure to deal with. When you are anxious and worried itβs so important when the staff are kind. Iβve wrote this review because I had a bad experience a few years ago and emailed Austin the then owner about it, we stayed with the practice but only saw Austin after it. My Yorkie Rosie was being admitted for dental work, the vet nurse who dealt with us was horrible, really nasty and spoke down to me like I was beneath her, I felt guilty all day knowing she was caring for my dog, could go on, but the upshot is she is no longer there, donβt think I was one with a bad experience of her.β
βAll great service and love for all pets welfareβ
βStaff were extremely friendly and put our little 8 week old puppy at ease for her first jabs, couldn't recommend them enoughβ
βMargo cut her leg and required stitches, she had surgery and had two follow up appointments post op. It went very well and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Reasonable competitive price too!β
βAlways helpful and efficient. Very friendly nurses and receptionists. I have felt confident with them looking after my pets. -need to get another exotic vet though as vet I have seen with a really poorly guinea pig didnβt seem to know a lot about them.β
