βAmazing vets! Our dog has been registered here for years and even though we live in North Wales now we still bring him here as they are such a great practice. Our dog actually loves going here! The staff are all so warm and friendly. We recently had to have a lump removed from our dog and the communication from the admin staff was second to none, any questions I had they found the correct information for me and always called me back very quickly with updates, as well as giving our dog lots of fuss. The practice manager called me within minutes of our insurance decision which again was so helpful during a stressful process not to be waiting around. We got test results back and our dog was booked for his operation within 3 days! The vet who saw and operated on our dog was warm, empathetic and very knowledgeable, she really put our mind at ease and did a fantastic job. All of the team have been so kind to me (and Dexter our dog) throughout. Calling to check in both before and after the surgery which I really appreciated. This is my first experience of having my dog treated for something big and worrying but Vets 4 Pets Hoole made the process so much better. Professional, hard working and really care about the animals, what more could you ask for in Vets practice. Thank you so much to all at Vets 4 Pets.β
βOur dog was unwell and needed to visit the emergency vet after hours, and attend follow on appointments at the Adlington practice. The vets who cared for our very nervous dog were very patient, compassionate and professional. We were made to feel welcome by all staff we encountered, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Massive thanks.β
βVillage vets Crosby are always there when needed. Amazing practice . ALL the staff are amazing. Christine the vet was exceptional as usual . We wouldnβt take our dogs anywhere else. She listened to our concerns and thoroughly checked our dogs before prescribing medication. She gave helpful advice regarding keeping our pets safe and stress free during fireworks season. Thank you Village Vets Crosby .β
βI would highly recommend this vetβs practice to everyone. They are welcoming, sympathetic and each vet takes time to make your pet feel comfortable, making every visit as stress free as possible.β
βReally happy with the service. Got appointment for a few days after I called. Staff very friendly especially the vet himself and offered lots of proper advice on puppy and training. They had an offer on for both puppy vaccinations, worm and flea treatment and kennel cough vaccine for Β£85.β
βBest vet experience weβve ever had, everyone is very patient and caring and make our anxious dog feel better about going to the vet. Also, when we needed to make a vet claim they were super fast at getting the information across to our insurance company which meant that we got the money back much quicker. Would recommend to anyone!β
βTook our cat to have her teeth cleaned. Everything was explained throughout. Our puppy has joined their puppy club and they are extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always happy to help and explain in great detail. We take all our pets here. Wouldn't go anywhere else.β
βSo thankful this place was able to see a pigeon that turned up at our bird feeder injured; we supported it as best we could over the weekend trying to find someone with the skills as it was clear 'lil Shuffle needed medical attention. We're really hoping for a happy ending and rooting for the guy. Bless his little heart β€οΈβ
βGreat vets. Always helpful and friendly with plenty of advice on caring for our new puppy. I would highly recommend this practise. All the staff are lovely and you get the feeling that they genuinely care about us and our dog.β
βGreat vets, lovely split waiting room for dogs and cats/small animals and separate treatment rooms too. All the vets are friendly and helpful, care for all the animals in their care. Easy to make appointments and seldom waiting long to see a vetβ

βWe have been with White Cross Vets for 8 years, 1 year at West Derby and 7 years at St Helens. We have always had exceptional service from both branches. We canβt thank White Cross Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they gave to our beautiful boy, Salem. We found out in February he sadly had cancer and we recently lost him flying over the rainbow bridge. A special thank you to Radka. There are no words big enough to express our gratitude. From the very beginning she was gentle, kind, and so loving with Salem. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and her empathy and warmth brought us comfort during the most heartbreaking time. She treated him like he mattered, like he was more than just a pet and that meant everything to us. Losing Salem has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we will always remember the love and dignity he was given at the end. Thank you, Radka and everyone at White Cross Vets for being there for him and for us. Weβll never forget your kindness.β
βA great close knit team. Always there to help and point you in the right direction. The practice is well run and everything is explained to you on the planned course of treatment for your pet.β
βWhenever I take my dog to the clinic I am always welcomed with a smile and a greeting by name for both myself and my dog, normally by Darren the receptionist. He is always super chatty and friendly and makes you feel at ease whilst you wait for your appointment. The staff in general at the clinic are friendly and accommodating and everything is explained really well and they are always very thorough when treating my dog. I would recommend EyeVet to anyone looking for a specialist surgery.β
βUnfortunately i had to say goodnight to my dog yesterday. I had professional service from these and they went above and beyond highly recommendedβ
βUpon my visit to Pet's store Burscough Ringtail park we met a simply charming young lady who helped me put the app on my phone and very helpful with other enquiries to do with the vets serviceβ
βThe best vet practice ever.. Wern Vets have always been fantastic with our animals. We have had equine, poultry, dog and cat care from Wern Vets, and all have been exemplary. So professional, efficient, kind and caring to both our animals and us, way beyond what is expected... Every part of their care has always been above and beyond. We couldn't speak more highly of them. Zoe & Kyle.β
βAbsolutely brilliant practice all the staff are so caring and wonderful. Iβve only had the best experiences here with my little Hercules! They always went above and beyond for him would highly recommend this practice to anyone!β
βReally pleased I found this vet. My dog was treated with respect and I felt at ease and able to ask questions.β
βBrought my two dogs for vaccinations. As always Sean was brilliant with them. My 14 year old Collie Alfie is very nervous but Sean always puts him at ease and keeps him calm. He did Alfie's kennel cough vaccine without Alf getting stressed. Our young Goldendoodle Daisy enjoyed the fuss he made of her and didn't even notice the needle going in and took the kennel cough nose squirt like a champ. She's booked in to be spayed next week with Sean and I know she will be in safe hands. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The receptionists are lovely - big mention to Claire who's been there forever and is brilliant.β
βOur pets (cats, tortoise and rabbits) have been patients at this practice for many years. The vets, nurses and reception staff are always very professional, but patient and kind. Recently Filiz has been treating our 7 year old rabbit for mobility issues. Having tried various medicines Filiz suggested a course of acupuncture. It was very evident that Filiz was knowledgable - in between treatments she consulted with other professionals using acupuncture and looked research to support her treatment. Filiz is a very kind and gentle professional - I found her approach reassuring and instilled a sense of confidence. Filiz didnβt make any promises about how successful the acupuncture would be, but I am currently sat in the garden watching Mossy running around β¦. I would highly recommend this practice. All of the staff are kind and compassionate, giving guidance and advice with animal welfare at the heart of everything they do. They have cared for all our pets beautifully. (oh and definitely give acupuncture a try!)β
βWe have King Charles which we adopted 2yrs ago because his owner died. We've never had a dog so it we needed a lot of advice and help. The Vets and Staff at Parker and Crowther were a tremendous help to us and we can't thank them enough. We took Flash when he was five he's seven now. He went yesterday, they always attend to him extremely well and we always feel reassured. He was very overweight when we adopted him they helped us with all advice and he looks like a different dog now. We love him so much, Our beautiful King Charles (Flash) attended Parker and Crowther vets in Birkdale yesterday for his injection and annual check. They were extremely good to him and treated him in a very professional manner.β
βExcellent staff and warm and welcoming for your beloved Pet. I will be using Bromborough site for all my Cats needsβ
βRecently had my gelding here for two weeks after surgery on a very nasty injury. I absolutely could not fault any of the staff. The team of vets, nurses and students worked so hard to keep him comfortable and treated him so well it really put me at ease through a very stressful time. Top notch facility!β
βWe sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved 16 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Rossco, recently. We could not have wished for a more supportive and understanding vets who saw us at very short notice. So professional, understanding and compassionate when he passed away. We canβt recommend them highly enough.β
βWonderful vets, we have all our cats registered here and apart from our new one they've all had a visit. Have always been supportive as well especially when we so sadly had to put one of our cats to sleep, such lovely staff. Would recommend.β

βI want to sincerely thank the entire veterinary team and the surgeon for the exceptional care they provided to my dog. He recently underwent surgery for a liver shunt, and I couldnβt be more grateful for the skill, compassion, and dedication everyone showed throughout the process. Itβs been just a few days since his operation, and heβs already doing so much better. Seeing him regain his appetite, energy, and personality has been such a relief. This surgery has given him the chance at a longer, healthier life, and Iβm beyond thankful for that. Thank you again to everyone who took such wonderful care of him β your expertise and kindness made all the difference.β
βAnimal Trust Ellesmere Port is a lifesaver. After another local emergency vet tried to pressure me into euthanising my 3-year-old cat due to high costs (Β£2000+) and a misdiagnosed blockage where the other vet had also already prepped my cat for euthanasia BEFORE I had even signed any consent forms! I brought him here for a second opinion. The team here was incredible. They were ready for us immediately, performed an ultrasound, gave IVs and medication, and confirmed there was actually NO blockage and NO stones. The bill was only around Β£220, including take-home meds. They are honest, kind, and reasonably priced. I am so grateful to have my cat home safe. I highly recommend them to anyone. The nurse that saw us when we dropped him off and picked him up was an absolute star who explained everything very thoroughly and told us that surgery wasn't necessary for our cat and so they would refund us for that fee.β
