“Cheap & cheerful are the exact words to describe this place! It was by far the cheapest option for a hotel in central London which I needed for a 1 night stay, and it served its purpose! Do not expect this to be the fanciest hotel you’ve been to, because it isn’t it - but it definitely is value for money because I couldn’t find anything like it in a 3 mile radius! Absolutely perfect for my needs with a private bedroom and private bathroom - most hostels charge this kind of price for the luxury of an 18 bed dorm ha! Book this if you’re just looking to get your head down for the night - it is absolutely perfect for that purpose. Do not be put off by the reviews.”

“At first we were sceptical about the reviews we read when we booked however we stayed for four nights last week. Room was a bit small but it’s in the centre of London and basically you are paying for location. We spend most of the days outside exploring London so only used the hotel to sleep. It’s very basic but it has what you need. If your looking for a better hotel there is Ibis which is more expensive. We would stay here again in future , I think a lot of people expect more for their money but in reality this is London so if you don’t want to pay much go here. If you expect more then maybe find another hotel that serves your needs. Easy access to metro and bus services - pubs down the road including shops. No issues when we stayed.”

“It actually was alright. I was a bit concerned with reviews but it wasn't half bad . Rooms were very clean and looked nice especially considering prices , the location is good and very close to underground. Guy at the reception was very welcoming and nice, had a good laugh with him . So all in all it was a pleasant stay . The only suggestion I would give - guys , if you are concerned about doors banging , please, spend £20 to buy rubber buffers for doors, so they would prevent it . It is quite weird and unpleasant when stuff is chasing you around the hotel and asking not to smash doors . The doors are closing very slowly on they're own and accelerate at the very end , what people don't really expect”

“I just stayed at this hotel for a night, and I have to say, I was pleasantly suprised with the whole thing, especially after reading some of these reviews. While this hotel is not luxurious (which can't really be expected given the price), my room was recently renovated and very clean. The bathroom was spotless, no weird smells, etc. The mattress was a bit firm and while the trains really do pass close to the hotel, I personally wasn't bothered by them, but light sleepers might disagree with that assessment.”
