“I had a lovely experience at Plaza Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but had everything that I needed, and the price was really good for the great central location.”
“Room was a nice size, very clean and it was quiet, I slept really well. The heating was warm and the clean ensuite had a real bath! There was a fridge and microwave, perfect for me.”
“We stayed 6 nights to be fair I found the hotel not that bad the bed was a bit uncomfy so we used that black sheet on top of mattress which made a difference. The rooms was clean tidy they provided soap and shampoo it comes with a hairdryer iron ironing board. To turn side lights on you'll see some tiny buttons where those side lights are. The staff are really nice and it was handy for the launderette too. Only down side was is that I needed to be in Hammersmith and on booking.com that's what's it's advertised has but it's in west Kensington.”
“I give five stars because the staff are very friendly and helpful, whoever gave a negative comment I think they should go to a 5 star hotel if a 3 star doesn't meet their standards. The hotel is very clean and bright. It's like buying a Saisbury pizza and expecting the same quality as the restaurant. It doesn't work like that, both will fill your stomach anyway, one may taste better but the purpose is still the same! People always complain, they want to spend little and have the maximum, it doesn't work like that!”
“This hotel is only a 2 minute walk from king’s cross station which is ideal! On arriving, the staff on the front desk were so welcoming and helpful (the desk is 24 hour so good if travelling alone!!). Our twin room was perfect with cute double doors we could open, it was clean, tea and coffee provided and the tv had netflix! I stayed with my friend and then alone and both nights i felt comfortable and safe! this hotel really is the perfect place if you are wanting to explore london and want somewhere accessible and affordable!”
“Great stay, thank you! + Quiet and clean place. very welcoming!”
“Price/performence is best. Very clean. Housekeeper ladies were very clean and also Ms Irene from reservation desk was very friendly and helpful..thanks.”
“One of my best budget hotel when I need a bed for a night in London for work. Location near Paddington station is perfect value for money. The room is always clean and well prepared when you arrive. You can check in early and the breakfast is always included. Of course don’t expect a 5 star hotel but it’s a 5 star budget hotel to me.”
“A cute hotel with wonderful, friendly customer service at the front desk. The room is compact, as would be expected at this great price range. There are good options for connecting with bus routes from this location.”
“Very good service by Receptionist Shubham, very well mannered and extremely professional. Answered all my questions and swiftly dealt with my concerns. Enjoy the Area and the hotel overall. Will recommend.”
“Stayed 24.11.24 After reading the reviews was really dubious about staying here, but only paying £31 for a night we checked in quite late after spending rhe day in London. On arrival we could smell fresh paint and the reception area was smart and clean. Very friendly chap at check in. We went up to our room (218) and was pleasantly surprised. New TV, freshly decorated. Smart clean and presentable. Our room was at the front and for a Sunday night was quiet and we slept soundly with the window open. Would definitely stay here again.”
“Easy check in and check out every time. Man who works at reception always friendly and quick with service. Room always fully stocked with tissue, tea, biscuits… what more do you need for the price?”
“Stayed here for 1 night, very lovely staff. I was serviced by Binod, very friendly man, great service he delivered while our stay here. The rooms were clean and well organised.”
“I booked it before reading the reviews - then got nervous. Upon arrival the staff were incredibly accomadting and helpful. The room was great, ended up booking 2 more nights, it was comfortable and convenient. There was some wear and tear in a couple of places, but nothing that terrible. Will be booking again and already referred it to friends!”
“I was placed here by a local authority . The hotel staff are very helpful. The cleaning team are the best. I’ve watched them clean the stair banisters daily , so if like me you have ocd and a germ phobia this is where you should stay, could not hope to be in a better place. The location is perfect for those who like to shop. Smack in the middle of Hammersmith and Shepherd’s Bush. Lots of local restaurants and take aways.”
“I stayed at this hostel for one week and really enjoyed my time. The food was good, the bed was comfortable, and the cleaning service was consistent. The staff was friendly, and everything was well-organized. Great value for the price — I would stay again!”
“I have spent one night in this hotel. I had a room including a private bathroom. The room was very small, but I had not much luggage and was here only for the night. Therefore, this was not a problem. The bathroom was modern, everything was perfectly clean. The location is quite central, and there are nice pubs and breakfast places around. If you just need a place for the night(s) and do not have a lot of luggage, I can absolutely recommend this hotel, especially if you consider the low price.”
“Amazing experience! lovely staff! Haleema , ana and hamdan made the experience amazing ! the rooms are up to standard and the staff are very friendly! and very welcoming and made the experience 10% better would 100% come back and recommend for everyone!”
“This hotel is really good, spacious and clean rooms, the food is good here dining and breakfast. I also want to thank Ethan who is one of the staff members who works there he made it felt like i was staying at a 4-5 star hotel with the level of service he was providing to me he went over and beyond and i hope the owner of the hotel sees this review and reward him for his amazing work. The only umfortunate thing i have to say about this is that i probably won't be back as i was attending a work course and live far away but if i did have 2 come back in the future however i would love to stay here again. Thank you Hamlet Larkfield for my stay.”
“A recently refurbished travelodge, had everything we need for a night in Dorking. The Tesco next door was handy for breakfast items. A short walk 10-15 mins to the main or Deepdene station and similar into Dorking centre. Would stay again”
“Simply the best hotel in North West London with reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere. Strongly recommended.”
“I had a great experience staying at this hotel. As soon as I walked in, there was a beautiful smell from a diffuser in reception. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a Moorish theme. Everywhere was clean. I could not find one speck of dirt or dust! My room was cosy, clean and well furnished (see photos). Staff were extremely helpful with late check-out requests and storing luggage. Always someone on reception 24/7. Had breakfast one day and there was a great selection and the lady at breakfast was very friendly. Very safe and central area. Would definitely stay again and recommend!”
“Stayed in room 3. Quad room, 2 kids and 2 adults. Nice big tv, ample space and facilities within it. Superb location, 30 minute walk from all where we wanted to go… oxford street, camden markets. Staff were super helpful and friendly! If i was being critical, the ensuite bathroom is tiny, which i didn’t mind, it is dated, but you get what you pay for..only issue with it was there was nowhere to put basics like toothbrush, paste, etc etc..Aside from that it was completely functional, nice hot water, decent enough pressure. For the price and given it is london, i would ABSOLUTELY stay in this exact room again!”
“Very happy with out stay here. All staff were friendly helpful and efficient. Room was clean and warm .breakfast staff went out their way to help my partner when i was not there to help her ( she uses a walking stick ) the lady who cleaned and tidied our room was great and the reception staff friendly and helpful. its a nice touch that the hotel provide both bed and bowls for dog owners like ourselves at no extra charge . There was no problems with Internet speed or connectivity. Thank you for our enjoyable stay”
“I don’t like staying at Travelodge, I had no choice to stay in Chertsey. We were greeted my Sameen, she had a friendly smile. It was a check check in, still thinking can’t believe I’m in a travelodge, until I saw the room, the room was spacious and very clean. Actually the hotel was very clean, I could not find a fault with the Chertsey branch. Well done to the hotel staff and specially to Sameen I hope that is the correct name. She changed my mind about travelodge. Best of luck.”
“Only one night before Twickenham rugby. It is only 35 minutes from the ground. Parking an issue but we parked free on station carpark after 6 and before 8 It is 5 minute walk. Wetherspoons 5 minute walk up road for food and pint. Room was hot, shower was hot. Decaf ☕ free in room tasty enough. Lots of towels. Quiet night.”
“It's a really nice hotel/restaurant. The rooms are very neat and comfortable and the environment is Serene. A must visit.”
“We had a great time here, got everything we paid for and more. We stayed here for 8 nights, we weren't supposed to have breakfast here, but due to the number of nights, we got continental breakfast for free. We had room 24, with toilet facilities and shower. The kitchen staff and all the staff in the hotel was extremely nice. I want to thank Mrs. Carmen for the warm milk and delicious English breakfast! We ordered English breakfast for 2 days, it was 4 £ each. It was worth it! I ordered a parcel by post, the receptionist brought it to my door when it arrived. We were a little cold during the night, when the heating was turned off, so we asked for a small radiator. We borrowed a hair dryer and an iron from the reception. The room has tea and coffee facilities, a TV set. The hotel is not 20 minutes from centre London, it is 2 minutes away from the bus stop. By bus 43 you get to London Bridge in 80 minutes, if you get off at Highgate underground station, you get to zone 1 in about 30-40 minutes. It was well worth the money to stay in the National Hotel! I highly recommend it!”
