“Can anyone tell me if they are still open?”
“I no longer have a study-leave budget so economy is everything. I needed a hotel outside the congestion charge zone, with good transport links nearby, and a good price. This is the place! I got a clean bed and clean bathroom for half the price of anywhere else. Yes, it's a bit tired, but clean is good enough to me. I will be back!”
“Perfect experience for a low budget accommodation in London. The individual room offered everything I needed for my stay, with a nice bed and a private bathroom. Had a good interaction with everyone, the system to lock the room and access the building was great. It is a great place to stay, the location is amazing, allows for easy and quick transportation anywhere. I strongly recommend”
“I cannot make any complaint when there’s nothing major. Maybe it’s a little noisy at night from outside, but due to the location, there’s not much can be done. You won’t be staying for long. Staying at this place for 1-2 days should be fine.”
“Great and cheap hotel, booked as a quick stay over for early train and did the job. Comfy and tight room but no issues. Receptionist very friendly and sorted issues when needed”
“The hotel was fine, everything was clean. We were lucky to be in a room which had a garden, full kitchen, even dishwasher and a washing machine and a sofa. But not all rooms have all of this. Bathrooms are shared, there is a tiny bathroom on the ground floor and then there is a bigger one upstairs where is a bathtub with shower. You are informed about the shared bathrooms so that's not a downside. LHR is very close, you see and hear aircraft flying almost directly above you so if you don't like noise, look elsewhere. I am an aviation enthusiast so I liked this, Myrtle Avenue (great planespotting spot) is just about 5 minutes of walking away. There is a Hatton Cross subway station about 15 minutes of walk away, this takes you straight to LHR. ! The check-in system is a bit sketchy, the day before your arrival you receive an e-mail with the passcode to the keybox in which you find the key to your room and also you receive a passcode and instructions for the main door, but I have encountered a guy who had his booking through some third patty website but didnt receive the follow-up email so he was out of luck, couldn't get to his room and it was nighttime so nobody would pick up the phone to help him. I booked through booking.com and everything went fine, so I recommend booking through booking.com but not through any other website I recommend if you need a reasonably priced stay near LHR”
“This is such a lovely, quirky hotel and I really enjoyed staying here! Really friendly staff and the room was so very different from what was expected. There isn't really any facilities here, but it is London so you can easily find anything you need nearby. So if you are just looking for a fun place to sleep at a very good price I thoroughly recommend The Pavilion. I cannot wait until I am back!”
“Prime location, prices for the room adequate to conditions. I've been many times in different hotels across UK, paid more and had worse accomodation. Hotel staff was nice, professional and helpful which is not so obvious this days. Big plus for nice, stylish interior and great location. I can definitely recommend for short stays. I had to write this review as I think most of the reviews on this page are not fair and you have to understand what comes with low price. HOSTELS on that day (31 Dec) were more expensive and far away from town centre. Previously booked hostel let us down, asking for reservation cancel just two days before we arrive. If I come to London again any time soon I'll probably book there as it's really convenient for short and budget trip.”
“First of all, the location is so great. And then, the staffs, especially Fatima (receptionist) were so well behaved and supportive. I booked a double room and it was worth it with a huge amount of amenities as well. Though the size is not that spacious, but in this price, on that location, its a hidden gem.”
“Rooms very clean smelt nice the reception lady Monica was very polite and helped in everything we needed even we came to the hotel at 4 in the morning and one bell she answered straight away I’ve never seen service like this before”
“Very basic room, in one of lots old houses. Saying that, it was extremely clean, modern and everything was there to make my overnight stay lovely. Definitely recommended.”
“It's basic but a nice wee place. The staff are always cheerful and happy to chat. The room was small but definitely worked for what I needed. They have a tea kettle in the room and a small fridge. Microwave and water cooler in the lobby. The area is lovely and has plenty of shops around and is within walking distance to other shops also.”
“The rooms have such an amazing view and vibe, the spa and pool are amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and Pedro really made our evenings so special. The bus down to the beach was a bit bumpy but we enjoyed our family day out, the only thing that i would say was a draw back was that we had to leave so soon that the chef couldn't make me that birthday cake he promised.”
“It was ok. Will stay here again. Typical victorian style. Bathroom was a bit small. Nice area. Breakfast was self catering and basic. Ideal for a solo traveller who just wants to crash out after a few beers.”
“Very good place to stay with affordable price. It’s getting better with the new staff. Would recommend people to try this.”
“For a one night sleepover with the right price is descent. In room toilet was clean. Room was clean and tiny. There's a Tv in the room,a wardrobe, bed and chair. I gave 4 star for service-because there was some problem with breakfast, I was told normally it's fine. Location was excellent for me.”
“Good morning. I lived there for two days. Clean, bright, good atmosphere. Check-in took five minutes. Contact the administrator, follow all the instructions and voila. Yes, if you are not used to living in an apartment, but live in a house, then just take earplugs with you. I live in a high-rise building and it is common for me to hear my neighbors. I liked everything and will stay here on my next trip to London.”
“Beautiful old building, me and my partner stayed upstairs in a very well priced room and it was everything we could ask for. Polite old man during the day, younger man that came up in two minutes when we called reception asking about the TV at MIDNIGHT! great service.”
“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help. They assisted us with more than one thing during our stay, especially one woman who works there and a young man named Hani, who was exceptionally helpful. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Whatever we asked for, they provided right away. Their warm attitude and great service made our stay even better. Highly recommended!”
“Wasn't expecting much rooms aren't lovely little bit shabby spotless bathroom asked for bath given one loved the location quiet and green in a very good neighbourhood walk to hampstead walk to Camden three underground stations about 7 to 10 min walk express tesco around the corner and some independent shops .booked ahead when I came to check in was told your room has no window if you want a window £30 extra.bad start. Payed for the window happy I did stayed 3 nights no housekeeping that was fine .payment was £287 in the end will go back for the location”
“Me and my sister were moved to the Cromwell international hotel on 21/11/25 after originally booking the sister hotel Earls Court Garden Hotel. Excellent stay! Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Perfect and easy location in London for a cheaper price. Our room was fairly small but that did not bother us. It was extremely clean and bed was nice and firm. Very happy with stay and would come back! Thank you”
“Our room was a good big flat, but hotel is unmanned so you need to have ability to call on local UK number. Then send your ID to email that they are telling you by phone. I send it to wrong email, but later they assisted me by phone.”
“Clearly this hotel has had major renovations lately! I was apprehensive after the reviews but it was such a pleasant stay. New paint, new bedding, new outlets (USB and normal outlets), the showers and everything were great. The room was small but had two separate sleeping areas and that is just Central London for you. Check in and out by machine were easy. We store our bags for the day after checkout three doors down with Stasher. Wonderful location.”
