βNice room but has no USB port or shaver point. High bed. Nice and clean. Lovely breakfast and dinner well worth the money. Amble parking register on way in for free parking. Close to shopping centre.β
βAfter being let down by another hotel I turned to Novotel Manchester Centre. I was greeted by the extremely helpful Pasquale at reception. I explained my circumstances and Pasquale couldn't do enough to help and reassure me. On a day that was stressful and grey Pasquale really brought the sunshine back for which im thankful. We opted for a family room that was spacious, clean, modern and well laid out. All the staff work really hard in the hotel and are really helpful. This includes the cleaning and room staff. Special mention to Inga and her team who were so helpful and friendly with requests I had. Food and drink in the hotel were also great. The in house restaurant serves great food whatever the time of day. Again some super helpful and hardworking staff here with a mention to Isaac behind the bar. He was friendly and helpful to me and my children. The Novotel brand has always been a reliable and great brand. Im a firm beleiver that brands and hotels are built on their staff. At Novotel Manchester Centre you really have amazing staff who go the extra mile. They are a credit to the hotel and the Novotel brand. Many thanks and myself & my family will be back again soon.β
βVery well located, close to Manchester Piccadilly Station at a very reasonable price (though it should be noted our stay was on a Monday, weekend prices rise rapidly !). Helpful, friendly and professional staff, drinks at the bar were very competitive as normally drinks in hotel bars are grossly overpriced and inflated. Breakfast was fabulous - a hot and cold buffet with a great selection. The room itself was fabulous, a very comfortable bed and equally comfortable pillows. Our room had a mini kitchen in it, so after a busy day we bought lovely food from M&S and made use of the facilities. The only negative ( for us) was our room was adjacent to a very busy A road, so not the best for light sleepers , so beware when booking and make a special request for a room not near this busy road if it bothers you.β
βGood value for money staff are very helpful and politeβ
βThe recption staff were extremely professional & welcoming. We especially enjoyed our evening in the Filament lounge where the staff again were attentive & friendly, especially Migel & Anandhu. The food was excellent & even took into account personal choice in regards to additional spice. 10/10β
βI had a great stay at Yotel Deansgate earlier this week. The room was comfortable, stylish and clean. Semiat and colleagues were very helpful throughout. I had an amazing set menu meal at Motley restaurant. 2 courses and a pint for under Β£20. incredible! Will definitely be back.β
βMust praise the service I received in the hotel. I'd booked for the wrong date, John and his colleague at reception were super helpful for sorting me out. The 14th floor bedroom was nice and clean, with a a view on the city. Recommended.β
βLovely hotel, top notch leisure facilities. Rooms could be a bit larger (king size bed but not a lot of room after that), and wine pricy at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic, very tasty, wish I could have e had two each day but can't eat that much :-). Helpful and friendly staff, could t do enough to help, thanks folksβ
βEasily accessible, just 6 minutes walk from Crumpsall metro. On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly lady, who throughout my stay was very nice and helpful. We checked into the room and immediately noticed how clean the room was, the whole hotel in fact was immaculate. Our room was well equipped with iron hairdryer, tv, fresh towels, and coincidentally my favourite biscuits, just everything you need. That evening after a night out I was quite cold (wet September) and the moment i got into bed, I warmed up so quickly, the bedding was fantastic, and the mattress was honestly the best mattress i have ever slept on in my whole life. It was fantastic! Annoyingly i naturally woke up early but had a lovely bath and started looking forward to breakfast. When i went down, the corridor smelled like fantastic home cooking but i made a mistake and didnt realise i had to prebook the night before. Judging by everything else in the stay, I'm certain it would have been excellent. Checkout was easy at a great time of 11 with an equally friendly gentleman. 5 stars isn't enough. It felt like a family run businesa that was managed perfectly with care and high standards. If i find myself in Manchester again, i would gladly avoid the centre and stay here. Highly recommend.β
βYHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel againβ
βThis place is a hidden gem! Donβt be fooled by some of the old fashioned decor, spend a night here and you realise it only add to the charm. What do you really need from a hotel, tidy, clean, great service, top breakfast, brilliant location. It may be a 3* in build but you are treated to a 5* stay!β
β"I recently stayed at the hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel's amenities is good, were also well-maintained. Overall, I would give the hotel 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to others."β
βWhat a lovely hotel! It was clean and comfortable! Everything was in good condition. Good stay after arriving in a late flight. I would return and recommend!β
βI recently stayed at Premier Inn and had a fantastic experience, made even better by one of the staff members, Mia. From the moment I arrived, Mia stood out with her warm and friendly approach. She was incredibly kind, polite, and always went out of her way to help β nothing was ever too much trouble. Every time I passed by reception, Mia greeted me and other guests with a genuine smile and a positive attitude that really made the hotel feel welcoming. Itβs rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys what they do and cares so much about the comfort of their guests. Mia is a true credit to the Premier Inn team. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant β staff like you make all the difference!β
βWe canβt recommend Digs for Dogs highly enough! Our dog absolutely loves going on her βholidaysβ with them and gets so excited to jump into the van when sheβs picked up. While weβre away, sheβs completely spoilt and treated like a princess, which gives us total peace of mind knowing sheβs being cared for and loved just as if she were their own. We also really appreciate the regular updates and photosβitβs lovely to see her enjoying herself while weβre away. Georgia and Oliver are so professional, kind, and welcoming, and they made the whole process of setting up our dogβs profile really easy. If youβre looking for a safe, caring, and fun place for your dog, weβd highly recommend Digs for Dogs!β
βThank you to Lewis Danny , Leon and the the whole team for such a welcoming stay - I could have stayed all week with a team like that , like are an absolute credit to your establishment. Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. Promote him very soon, or I'll be honest you are missing a trick here , and definetly do not let him move to another hotel. Danny was kind , warm so so welcoming & answered every question I had promptly & efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble and went the extra mile when my cab never turned up for around 40 minutes Thank you again to everyone! Sarah - from down south near Gatwickβ
βI booked this hotel on behalf of my family members visiting my wife and I from Ireland. They stayed two nights and were pleased with everything the hotel provided them. The room was very clean with comfortable beds for two ladies and one child.β
βKirstie is a god send. Our pup is under her care for one day every week and he absolutely loves going. We have sent him to other day cares before and he didn't react well to going back, but he gets excited to arrive at Hotel 4 Hounds (which says a lot). He has slept over on numerous occasions and we always receive updates, photos and videos of how he is. We totally trust that our pup is being well looked after and couldn't recommend more!β
βStayed here for 2 weeks and that is my second 2 week stay this year. First week the room was small, like Harry Potters cupboard under the stairs small but had all the amenities still. Was clean, well stocked and did exactly what I needed it to do but was too small to relax in after a hard day's work. I didn't dine in the restaurant, not because the food wasn't nice, I ate in their on my previous visit and it was delicious but I did venture out this time. The second best bit about the stay? Breakfast, not only was breakfast delicious, always well stocked but they REALLY need a new coffee machine! The number 1 thing...CAROL K...She was outstanding! SOOOO funny, but lovely too. Made coming down on a morning a pleasure. No plans to go to Manchester again soon but would happily stay there to go and see Carol K again.β
βWonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.β
βMy family of 5 stayed there Friday to Saturday this week. The staff are amazing and so friendly I have 3 ASD children and the staff were lovely with them all. As we were checking in the lady gave each of them some cookies. The beds are so comfy and I'd paid for breakfast which can I say fantastic such choice which is perfect for my children as they can be hard to cater for. As we were about to leave the restaurant one of the male staff came over and gave my younger 2 a Terry's chocolate orange each. I would definitely stay there again and can't rate it highly.β
βIt was lovely and for tourists interested in visiting Old Trafford, this is super close. The bus system is great so we could stay here even though our event was at the University of Manchester. The breakfast was beautiful and fun, and we didn't have to break our banks.β
βStayed here when I went to a concert in Manchester. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, Levon made me feel welcome. He greeted me with a genuine smile and handled the check-in process quickly and professionally. Even though I had a few special requests, he was patient, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without any hassle. What really stood out to me was how friendly and approachable he was throughout my stay. Whether I needed directions, restaurant suggestions, or help with a small issue in my room, Levon was always available and eager to help. He has a calm, polite manner that instantly puts you at ease. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and cares about the guest experience. My stay felt smooth and stress-free. Heβs a real asset to the hotel, and Iβll definitely return β partly because of the great service I received at the front desk.β
βGreat service by everyone, free breakfast, smiley faces. Quiet place. But the location is abit poor. It's too far from man city center and from everything really. But the staff were absolutely brilliant. Dated decor but cleanβ
βGreat staff and great service. Love been greeting by Rosie the dog. Made my day. Especially after having breast cancer treatment. The pool and gym next door has great facilities. Back in November.β
βSimple and good hotel, with an excellent location in the northern part of the city center. Very close to the Arndale Mall and surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Exceptional service β quick, efficient, respectful, and pleasant. Clean rooms and overall a very clean hotel. The dining area is a bit crowded for my taste, and the English breakfast is basic.β
βOverall experience was pleasant. Small issue with our room which was quickly resolved by staff. Ben on reception the night manager is brilliant really goes above and beyond! Also when checking in Mia was so busy and remained so calm, courteous & professional. Would highly recommend Will stay here againβ
βhad a great time staying at the hotel overnight to attend a concert in manchester, thank you very much!β
βWe spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.β
βThree of us stayed two nights whilst attending a family event nearby. We found the hotel clean, warm and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and very, very helpful. The breakfast was generous and well prepared with a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, cereals and pastries to chose from including nuts and seeds to sprinkle plus jams, honey etc on tap, none of those horrid little polluting plastic containers. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating and lovely views of the garden. This is a great hotel if you need outdoor space, there are huge lawns and patio areas. We found parking easy though at busier times that may be an issue, it's not huge. We ate in the restaurant one evening and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and my daughter's need for lacto- and gluten-free catered for. Our room was adequately spacious even with the (very comfy) sofa-bed open for use, when it's folded away it would be a very generous space, great lighting too, the separate bathroom and toilet makes for convenience when sharing, that's rare in a modern hotel. We left a precious item behind and the staff very kindly prepared it for posting back and it arrived safely. It was our first experience of Novotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use this one again and highly recommend it.β
