“Just started early morning swimming, part of my physiotherapy. Not too busy. Somedays they have the pool sectioned off into slow, medium and fast lane so really helps when you are just starting out or just a slow swimmer like me”
“Fab leisure centre. Joined a few months back at the start of my pregnancy as wanted to keep fit still. The staff are great especially the young lad on reception, always aware of what’s going on even when he’s with a customer, always opened the access door for me as I was getting a bigger and bigger bump. Lifeguards were always keeping an eye on me when in pool and addressed any issues which made me feel safe and protected of my baby bump. (Baby is now here & can’t wait to be back) My older son also has a kids membership and likes to use the gym. No issue ringing on day and getting him booked in. Not done any classes yet but will definitely be looking into this soon.”
“Parsonage Gardens located right behind Deansgate is a little green oasis nestled between several large buildings near the River Irwell. It is the location of the former St. Mary's Church, which was built in 1756.”
“The team here are so friendly, they aren't solely focused on profits and want to help the community. We attend as a college each week and they always go above and beyond. The pitches are top quality and the service and fantastic.”
“Very easy to access and lots of free parking. The centre was calm inside and the staff were wonderful”
“Step off the train and visit where our favourite drink was first brewed, lovely monument!”
“Was pretty good, my 6 year old says”
“Just a quick note for anyone planning to visit: It isn’t open every Sunday, only on "the last Sunday of each month". Unfortunately, we missed it this time, but the view from outside the gate is still wonderful. I’ll definitely visit again!”
“Great place to walk down the canal”
“Great place to take the family swimming. Cafe has a very good menu that’s not too expensive. Plus the cafe has a small soft play (free) for the kids.”
“You can get both first and second jabs of your vaccine here. Both Astrazenica and Pfizer are available in this site but you need to check the Salfold NHS website to find out what kind of vaccine is available on the day you want to attend.”
“My Daughter and her friend are currently at the inflatable obstacle swimming course and are having a great time. What a credit the you g male lifeguard is to your team. He is engaging with all the children, chatting, splashing them, throwing buckets of water at them. It is him that has made the experience extra fun!”
“Cannot fault swim at all my little girls been coming here about 3 months now and it’s worth every penny she’s doing amazing all the instructors are amazing especially Joseph. Highly recommend”
“Go 3 times a week, great classes and lovely people , met so many new friends”
“Loved this! Came from the city on my bike and it was super fun. Highly recommend cycling here.”
“Excellent centre, always busy in a Sunday morning, lots to do here. Table Tennis always seems busy on a Sunday morning. Massive car park.✅ Great facilities, tea coffee, bacon buries always smell amazing on a Sunday.✅ A large selection of books are available as well for charity”
“Good set up. Third of a pitch good enough for 7 a side. Reasonably priced and last booking is until 2200.”
“Been coming here for a couple of years now. It’s a great setup and has absolutely everything you need with regards to health and well being. That said, what really makes this place shine isn’t the facilities, it’s the great bunch of staff who run the place!! They work tirelessly to pull it all together whether it being front of house to help with my random queries or just to say a pleasant hello or goodbye in passing, the PTs who run RIG; Robert, Jack, Joe, Ben (sorry if I missed anyone else out), and the various other sessions from spin to boxercise. My daughter all attends swimming lessons here too… special thanks to Dan for being a great teacher and so good (and patient!) with Charlotte in her growth and development. Thanks to Scott for always being so accommodating with our families busy timetable and helping us find suitable dates and times. Keep up the good work guys, a very well done to you all!”
“I just wanted to share that I really appreciate the calm, welcoming atmosphere at Life Leisure Cheadle. In the past, I found it hard to stick to a routine at high-intensity gyms, but here I feel comfortable, safe, and motivated to attend regularly. Thank you for creating an environment that supports consistency and mindful movement, it really makes a difference!”
“Fabulous place! Staff are so friendly, extremely clean and facilities so so lovely. Lots of machines to use in the gym as well as free weights, pool is always spotless and perfect temperature. All in all a lovely environment. Gym goers are friendly too and helpful, if you're new to the gym! Price of membership definitely worth it for the location and the facilities!”
“Such friendly and welcoming staff. Very helpful too.”
“I joined the gym 4 months ago after having physical and mental health battles, I cant recommend the gym here enough, the staff are fantastic and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for anyone. I'd like to say a special thanks to Louis in the gym for all the help and support throughout my journey.”
“Very impressed with everything, staff excellent very polite and helpful. Facilities top notch plus you can use any gym in the Salford area with membership. Excellent app for booking classes across all sites.”
“A beautiful lake with plenty of ducks and geese. There were about 10 duckling and four baby moor hens. There's a flat accessible path ideal for wheelchairs and prams. There is a small park. There are no facilities or a car park.”
“Went for a breakfast with the grandchildren, was very happy with the food, toast done to perfection, bacon had a chargrilled taste which I loved. The only let down was I like really runny eggs for my toast and beans. But not a dealbraker. The open fire was a bonus along with quite good coffee, being a breakfast coffee, it didn't give you that kick to wake your brain up, more like a brunch coffee.”
“Excellent swimming lessons. Great management and communication too. My son was a nervous swimmer a few months ago and is now jumping in at the deep end. Really understanding staff. Great value and they have a huge timetable for all levels. Wholeheartedly reccomend.”
“Cute little, good play area, the monkey bars are popular... and good divot behind the hill. There's also a good sculpture for kids to climb inside of on top of the hill”
“Fantastic service,staff and beer”
