“My first visit to City Café. Nice coffee at a very good price. A modern look, with the counter being more of a Bar, and there is also a line of stools along it. The rest of the premises has adequate seating, sofas, benches and chairs. Nicely spaced out too, so you don't feel crowded. The prices are good, the staff are welcoming and pleasant, and there's a relaxed atmosphere too. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Top tip: get an IKEA family card to have free tea and coffee Monday to Friday. Tip 2. Check menu by entrance for details of what's available before you join the queue. Tip 3. Check IKEA news for offers. E.g. half price on main meals in June. Good range of options - Hot and cold food, hot and cold drinks.”

“My wife and I visited Bedford on 30/9/23, our first visit for several years. We wanted something to eat and saw Zaza, which wasn't there on our last visit. We crossed over and looked at the menu and decided to venture in. We are pleased we did ! I had an English breakfast with black pudding as an extra and my wife had a jacket potato with cheese. My plate was full and I gave my wife one of the rashers of bacon and a slice of black pudding to go with her jacket potato. The meals were excellent and nicely cooked. Our server was nice and friendly and she said they have been open for about a year, when I asked. It will probably be a long while before we return to Bedford but we certainly hope Zaza is still there so we can eat there again.”

“The male server was petulant when I pointed out that I wanted an on premises coffee and not a take out and they had already done a take out. It would have been easy enough to tip it into a different cup but it was poured away and a fresh one made with obvious irritation. The ambiance was OK.”

“This pub took us ages to find. We needed a child friendly pub that was showing the football. We must have called at least 20 and had no luck! Lady was very friendly on the phone. We walked in and was greeted with a smile. The staff were all lovely.the food was incredible very tasty and very good value for money. For a family of 6 we all had drinks a meal and a dessert and spent around £80 Lots to choose from on the menu. Chef was great. Atmosphere for the footy was great! Had a lovely afternoon. Thankyou.”

“We had the whole upstairs area to ourselves, overlooking the lakes, surrounded by various artefacts from the lakes themselves! Brilliant, chill atmosphere. We all had the hot dogs which were huge, came loaded with onions, and were very cheap. The staff also had no issues with us taking the mustard up to our table.”

“Just went through the drive through and a lovely blonde lady served me my drink, then I accidentally spilt it all over my car and she was so kind and made me a new drink and gave me lots of blue roll to make sure I could clean it i just wanted to say how much i appreciated it i will definitely come again!”

“Came in yesterday, didn’t have the best of days and felt down. Talking to a member of the bar staff Amy really helped this was the first time I’ve met her as I haven’t been able to leave the house for a couple of months, she was polite and even offered to take my drinks to my table. Food was also cooked very nice, all of my friends came here previously and recommended the new menu so I had to give it ago, I tried the big melt burger, best burger I’ve had in ages, defo will come again and try the new Christmas menu.”

Maybe this store has some shortcomings, but they are not as severe as what those previous staff members mentioned.”

“New unit on Kettering Business Park.now open with the usual costa fair this store is set out with powerpoint and USB outlets at most of the outer edge tables disabled access toilets are available to the rear of the store with a outside seating and table area at the front door. with drive thru for passing motorist off the A509/A14 to kettering town center. surprisingly not a really busy café due to another Costa only across the way in tesco tho on some days staff say that it can be very busy only one mobility parking bay outside the store”

“A busy place this morning when I had my spiced cappuccino and mince pie. The lovely Andrea served me and she always has a welcoming smile. The staff are very friendly whatever time you go in though. An excellent place for a coffee before or after your shopping in Tesco. It's just been refurbished and looks bigger than it was before. The large tables have been removed in favour of more regular sized ones. The lighting looks minimalist and industrial looking. Costa cups hang precariously from the mobile above some of the tables which is a complete surprise. The walls are adorned with new artwork giving it a fresh new look. A much better Costa than before and thankfully they've fixed that hole in the ceiling!”
