“Marian is lovely, very calm and puts you and your pet at ease. Very happy with the groom and cut our dachshund received as well as the love and care, especially as he was going for the first time, he came home very happy and relaxed and smelling great! Can’t recommend Muts Cuts highly enough, also appreciate Marian fitting us in at such short notice, and on a weekend day! Would not want to go anywhere else, also think for a one on one groom the prices are very good too.”

“It was our first time visiting Nora Bones but we were very happy with Joanne and the care she gave to our two dogs. Our puppy was having her first puppy groom and our other dog needed her claws clipping. Both were anxious in a new environment but Jo was calm and relaxed. We will definitely return and already have booked for next time.”

The living area was very clean with plenty of toys for Maisie to play with The sleeping area was comfortable and safe. “Great experience. The Vet and reception are both top notch. Adding to my review. October 2025 update our sweet older Boston Terrier Lucy had a respiratory infection. Our vet Amina was lovely as usual. She explained all of the treatments and options to us and treated our concerns as well as those regarding Lucy. The reception area ladies are always friendly and welcoming.”

“Open until 11pm. Very handy, well stocked. Shop sells alcohol, tobacco, vapes, sweets, mobile top up. Never seen a empty shelf. Also has the advantage of the amazon lockers at the front and free cash machine. This shop is as modern as a shop can get. Staff polite always and friendly.”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

The place has a beautifully authentic interior with thoughtful details that give it a unique charm. In the main dining area, there’s even a vintage pub game table — a lovely touch that adds to the atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food is made with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms. They serve brunch, have a pool table, two spacious terraces, a kids’ corner, and lots of board games to enjoy. There are also special events like quiz nights and Steak Thursdays with great offers. The service was absolutely brilliant — attentive, friendly, and professional. A true hidden gem!”

Ruth is a natural and loves the dogs and is a true professional Cerys is always happy to see Ruth and comes out all the better smelling and looking wonderful after a cut and wash.”
