“It is a very nice building. Good bedroom, ver clean. We had a large external bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen and a nice sitting area. We had a good brunch in the community café, which is located in the same building. Enough private parking spaces are available, although some were sometimes occupied by visitors of community café. A good pub is in walking distance, and many walking tracks are close by. The centre of Wolverton is a 15-minute walk. We had a dog friendly room. One of the three bedrooms is dog friendly.”

“Amazing groomers, so friendly and helpful. Im in a wheelchair so cannot get in but they always come out to me. Our dog loves it there! He always looks like a new prestine man on leaving!”

“We came to Steve’s training sessions with a very nervous and dog-reactive dog, , and we were feeling a bit nervous ourselves. Steve immediately put us at ease, gently easing us into the training in a calm and supportive environment. The sessions have already made both us and our dog feel more confident, and it’s been amazing to see the progress in such a short time. We’re really looking forward to continuing our training journey with Steve!”

“This is Milo the day after a visit to Brittanya Grooming Salon, he looks great! They did a Fabulous job, exactly what we wanted. We have been to a number of groomers but have never been happy and would not go back. I had no reservation booking his next visit as soon as I saw him. We are so pleased that we found somewhere we can trust.”

“Without a doubt - the very best veterinary practice I've ever used. All of the staff are helpful and friendly - whether it's over the phone or in person, nothing is ever too much for them and they'll do whatever they can to provide assistance. I was really sad to have to re-register the cats at a new vets, but due to moving much further away, it was the only option.”

“Had to skip work and bring my 1 and a half year old kitten here as she got into a nasty fight with another cat(s). We didn’t have an appointment but were seen within 10 minutes. Vets (and receptionists) are very polite and careful with the animals and listen to your problems carefully. They care about the wellbeing of your pets. We have 4 dogs and 6 cats (and one who passed of old age) registered here and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my fur babies checkups. 5 star review isn’t enough!!”

“Rachel has been grooming my dog for years, she is kind understanding and a specialist in dogs whom have had bad experiences with previous bad groomers. I will never use another groomer other than Rachel she’s turned my dog into a new person. She deserves the recognition for the hard work she puts in with these beautiful animals.”

“I frequently use Chapharm Chemist and find them very helpful and friendly. On Friday 25th September I needed an urgent prescription for dressings for a leg ulcer, unfortunately my surgery had not forwarded the correct prescription to the chemist. I explained my problem to Tina, one of the staff, and also the the young man who was working preparing the prescriptions. They immediately came up with an alternative dressing which was perfect. I was quite stressed about this and also concerned but their actions solved the problem and left me with a stress free weekend. The surgery and also friends of mine all praise this chemist and the staff. A big thank you to all. David Jordan.”

“I just returned from a getaway with my dad and we had the best stay! The rooms were spotless, and honestly, those beds felt like clouds – I slept like a baby. The restaurant had a fantastic vibe with an amazing selection of food, plus the staff were super attentive. I've stayed here before, and it just keeps getting better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a good meal!”

“Lovely pub. People very friendly. The manager I think was called Kirsty. We wanted to sit outside but no tables were free. Manager asked for someone to bring a table out. Had a very pleasant time.”

“My husband and I recently had our wedding here, and honestly it could not have been more perfect! The grounds are stunning and peaceful. The small Georgian manor itself is picturesque and intimate. However, what makes Woughton House really homely is their polite and friendly staff. Matthew, in particular, was absolutely brilliant in ensuring we had the best day! He went above and beyond, even getting one of our guests extra lamb chops from the kitchen when it had run out at the buffet station. Compliments also to the chef, as all our guests thoroughly enjoyed their food, especially the chicken! If there’s only one thing the hotel could do for future bride and grooms, it would be to ensure room service is available and that breakfast can still be served after 10am to the newlyweds. Overall, a very positive experience and I’m so pleased we chose this as our venue.”

“We recently moved to The Almere and the experience has been fantastic. The building is modern, clean, and has a great atmosphere. Everything we need is within walking distance, and the location is perfect for daily life. What really makes a difference is the amazing team at the reception. They've been incredibly supportive and welcoming since day one – especially Jasmine, Christina and Natalie, who always go the extra mile to help. We truly feel at home here and would definitely recommend The Almere to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.”

“We had our wedding at Chicheley Hall on the 23rd of August and from start to finish it was absolutely perfect. Tamarin and Jenni were truly brilliant coordinators – nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free. Their support on the day itself was second to none. The food was beyond incredible. The chef exceeded every expectation, and we’ve had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. Breakfast the following morning was even reset with our centrepieces, which was such a thoughtful and beautiful touch. The service from the entire team was outstanding. The waiters, waitresses, and bar staff were faultless – the speed of service was better than we could have hoped for, and the bar staff even remembered everyone’s drink orders, which made the whole experience feel so personal. The rooms themselves were spectacular, and we loved being able to choose which of our guests stayed in the main hall with us – it gave the evening such a warm, sleepover-like feel, and it was wonderful to have a girly debrief in bed the next morning. All in all, our day was everything we dreamed of and more. We’ve even been told by guests (and even people who didn’t attend!) that it was the best wedding they’ve ever heard of. “A wonderful place to stay if you are in Stony Stratford! The hotel carries its own history within the town, and the people are incredibly welcoming and lovely. I initially booked for two nights but ended up extending my stay with zero hassle. The pub is an experience in itsel, you’ll meet friendly locals who welcome you with open arms and great conversations. The food is also fantastic, delicious, hearty, and filling. Such a charming place full of great people. Definitely a must-visit if you’re ever in town! ☺️”

“My wife Linda and I have stayed many times at the Swan and always found it a pleasure. Linda is waiting for a hip operation and finds it very difficult to get comfortable in bed. Consequently she often has to sleep in a chair. We stayed two nights recently and when we mentioned this to the housekeping staff they went out of their way to help, They brought other chairs from elsewhere in the hotel, provided an extra duvet and suggested ways of making Linda comfortable. Thank you very much to them all.”

“Had a fantastic weekend at The Bell for our annual family meet up. The staff were fantastic and worked so hard to ensure our party of 12 were looked after in the bar, at dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay and eat in the a lovely Bedfordshire village.”

“Had an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.”

“I have been going here for nearly 2 years with my cat who sadly passed away recently , my cat suffered badly with FIC and I cannot fault the vets in there , Emma and Jane are honestly the best! And all the other ladies I visited with fudgee , Over the years of using multiple vets I can honestly say the ladies in there really go above and beyond for animals and are so helpful , even after my little man passed they've still been so great and understanding. Sadly it is really expensive and I was looking elsewhere just because I couldn't afford it with a cat with on going problems which was a shame because they were the best I've been to yet , I've always managed to get appointments same day which is fab. Honestly can't fault them , they even last minute got a gorgeous paw print printed for me with a lovely card because the crematorium wouldn't be able to , super special , Thank you everyone at AstonLee.!”
