“We were made to feel very welcome from arrival until we left. Cosy atmosphere. The staff were great and menu and food authentic and tasty. Wine choice was good and house wine very good. Speed of service was perfect for a pre theatre visit. No hesitation in recommending. We will return. Thank you!”

“This hidden gem is a must if you're in Nottingham and like fine food. Fletcher's Dining is at Nottingham College, staffed by students. We were recommended we visit here by a local friend, and our first time certainly won't be our last. You book the date you want, but be warned, they book up fast, and choose the meat or vegetarian menu, and then sit back and relax! The team met us at the door and although they were clearly nervous, they were friendly throughout. We had five different courses of delicious food, and in no way would you say this food was from someone in training, it was amazing. From braised pigs cheeks, to polenta cake, it was a taste sensation. Highly recommended, but do book early!”

Plenty of choice available for the cuts of steak, and also vegetarian, pork, and chicken options so there's something for everyone. Food and service is consistently top notch. The side dishes and desserts are also great value Would highly recommend visiting Porterhouse over any chain restaurants!”

“The first time that I have been here. Excellent food that tasted wonderful! There were subtle flavours which were delicious. Being Persian cuisine such flavours are not common to our tastebuds, so an excellent experience! Being based on tapas your dishes arrive over a time period allowing you to graze as they are presented. I will return!!”

“We used Johnny, The Snobby Butcher, for our engagement party with over 70 guests and were thoroughly impressed. He and his team provided a professional, seamless service with a customised pork free menu including lamb, chicken and beef burgers, chicken sausages, lamb koftas and beef bacon. The meat was exceptional and cooked to perfection. Johnny’s passion and his team’s dedication made the event effortless for us and our guests could not stop praising the food. We would highly recommend them and look forward to using their services again.”

“I had booked a table for dinner as all my friends rave about the food. They weren't wrong!!! We ordered the set menu as well as an additional three dishes and everything was super delicious and freshly prepared. The Asian slaw is absolutely incredible, best I've ever had! As usual we had ordered too much food but I took the leftovers home to have for lunch. The staff were welcoming and seated us straight away and we're attentive taking our orders etc. It's not the most romantic place to go and eat but overall the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was really busy. I cannot wait to go back!”

All very lovely. Under £50 including two drinks. Was way too full for any desert. Going through a renovation adding solar panels, with zero disturbance. (Nearly Done) Loads of parking, close to M1 and A52.”

The quality of the ingredients was evident, the combination of flavours was excellent, and it was cooked perfectly. Beyond the food, the service was commendable. “Went on Valentine's day and attention to detail was lovely...material petals, fresh roses and candles. We had an olives starter, very tasty, followed by pizza. Great choice of traditional and modern pizzas made in a real pizza oven, cooked to order. Flavours were delicious. Pricing and quantity were good...even some left to take home. The service was great, attentive and welcoming.”

“We arrived around 1230 on a Saturday having walked from a local village. Although we were the only customers the greeting was super friendly and the service was brilliant. The food was delicious, especially the home made soup. Definitely going back, and this will become the new half way point. “This café was a delightful find! I stopped in to get some work done and was pleasantly surprised by how reliable and fast the WiFi was – perfect for a productive few hours. The food was absolutely delicious – it had that comforting, home-cooked feel that’s hard to come by in most cafés. Their cappuccino deserves a special mention – rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. Though the staff were clearly busy, they were still attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the strong food smell inside, likely because the kitchen is open to the seating area. There is outdoor seating, which would’ve been a great alternative, but unfortunately it was too cold and windy on the day I visited. Overall, despite that small drawback, I’d highly recommend this place – whether you're looking to relax, catch up on work, or just enjoy a fantastic meal and coffee.”

The waiting staff were attentive and they even sent over a glass of prosecco as a present. Highly recommend! The one thing I would say is that they could do with a bit of background music for some ambience. Otherwise, can't fault it!”

“I have been eating occasionally at Amores for many years, but it was probably about 5 years since my last visit. I had clearly forgotten just HOW GOOD the food is. The menu is great to enable you to construct the dish how you like, choosing your main component (i.e. meat) cooked in a way you like and then selecting appropriate sides, such as pasta, fries, veg etc to suit your mood. The options are all so very tempting! Service is quite speedy, with very helpful and friendly staff making you feel well looked after. The Tiramisu is divine... it was all exceptional but I will be having dirty dreams about that dessert.... If you haven't tried it yet, please do. It's well priced and you will leave feeling so very very happy.”

“Beautiful food, perfect in every way!! Only criticism is we weren’t asked how our food was soon after receiving it, brother had fries and would have liked some kind of sauce. Noticed waitresses and waiters would happily avoid eye contact, weren’t overly busy and plenty of staff but preferred to chat. Waited a long time for bill also. Again no complaints about the food compliments to the chef, staff could have been more attentive that’s all.”

“We visited today for Festive Afternoon Tea, it was also my mums birthday! From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed with Olivia's smiley friendly face! The decor is amazing inside such a cosy vibe and great music! By far the best afternoon tea we have ever had, we were made me feel so special so many lovely touches to make the experience personal to us.
