“Stay and play at alf&Co on a Tuesday has honestly been the highlight of our week on maternity leave. Kirby and her team are the nicest friendliest people and the whole atmosphere is so lovely. The variety of toys is excellent and they always make sure there are toys for each age group. Having a hot drink included too is such a nice touch. Could not recommend it more. And being on mapperley top there are loads of places to go for lunch after with the other mums and dads. The shop too is gorgeous and we've bought some lovely toys and clothes that are such great quality. If you want a group to go to with baby/toddlers this one is fab. Don't be nervous about going on your own, you'll make friends. It's so relaxed and everyone is lovely. They also have lots of extras like a photographer some weeks, sleep experts another and a pottery lady for some lovely baby footprint Xmas presents. I'm so sad to be going back to work and will really miss this. Iris has LOVED it! Thank you Kirby and Rebecca, you'll never know how much this session helps mums get out of the house and get some much needed interaction. Thank you! Xxx”

“We visited this store just before it closed on Sunday 5th January and we found wide fitting shoes for my husband in this store, when he struggled to find any shoes that fit his problem feet. The young shopping assistant (sorry, forgot his name) was exceptionally helpful, kind and professional, nothing was too much for him, even when my husband tried possibly 20 different pairs, nothing was too much for this young man. An exemplary service indeed, especially nowadays when most shop assistants are miserable and seem to be hating their jobs. Well, you won't get that in this store! We ended up buying not just one pair, but two and we also got a further 30% discount on them. This will be a first choice footwear store for us in the future and we have already recommended it to friends and family. Thank you!”

“This must be the best Next store around. It is a good big space and has loads of stock. The display, amount of range and numbers of staff around is the most customer friendly I have seen in a while. Definitely worth travelling to.”

“Went today after buying some Timberland boots in November 2022 from this store. A week ago the heel started to pull away and squeak continuously. It was small, but after a quick conversation, receipt, there was an absolutely no quibble exchange. I wore them a lot and normally would just write it off, but I was reassured, treated exceptionally well, that returning them was okay. First class customer service from Scott and the team. You may get Timberland items cheaper online but I 100% percent recommend getting them from the store just in the rare occasion like mine, there's a fault. Can't thank the store enough, thanks all.”

“This is a huge Next shop that combines both the Next clothing shop and the home shop. In the clothing section there is a large selection of clothing available for men and women, boys and girls of all ages. The home store has a large selection of house hold items that include seating, lighting, bedding and much more. This is a pleasant shop with lots of unique items which can only be found in Next stores.”

“Always have to go here for the kids school shoes, trainers and summer sport sandals. The very professional staff will measure your kids feet, one of my kids has a normal width fitting the other one has wide feet. They take the worry out buying shoes that fit correctly and give growing room too. They are expensive when you think you can buy school shoes for £8 from Asda but the fitting service and the quality of the foot wear make it more than worth it. Bad fitting footwear can lead to flat feet which can ultimately lead to hip replacements later in life. Ask any chiropodist.”

It was a Christmas gift so didn’t know if I was eligible for an exchange as my partner only had proof of the bank transaction. Found River Island & the staff, Phoebe, Taylia & Yulia couldn’t have been more helpful, I was shown a similar bag which I decided to exchange. I was impressed by the sheer amount of stock they had on display – plenty of styles and sizes to choose from, which is always a bonus, especially when you're looking for something specific. “We went to Matalan store in Bulwel in the afternoon. The place was not crowded. We had an excellent customer service. The place is also wheelchair accessible. Another advantage is that this store has a lot parking spaces. It is also near to Bulwel Forest Tram stop (it is about 4 minutes walk). Apart from different types clothes and shoes for all ages groups, the place is well stocked with other household items :kitchen items, bathroom items, storage units, children toys and many more . I would recommend this place.”
