Chris at the Sheffield Timber Company got back to me very quickly and was very knowledgeable. I went down a couple of days later, the slabs we had discussed were ready to look at and he also showed me around the other stock and we had a good chat about timber, work and projects. The piece I chose needed cutting down which was done straight away and the price was very reasonable, it's spot on for what I need. I will definitely be going again.”

“Went to get uniform for the Hayfield School. Needed a blazer and trousers for son and daughter. Jane was very knowledgeable and picked the correct sizes for both just by looking at them. Daughter was able to try on her trousers to make sure they were the right size and fit. The main part of the store is still blocked off after covid restrictions but it is staying that way as they are able to keep more stock than they used to. It also means customers don't have to hunt for the right items you just ask the very knowledgeable staff and they sort everything for you. It is a bit of a pain having to trek out to Gainsborough but at least this way you know you are getting the right thing rather than ordering online and needing to send things back when they don't fit.”

“This place deserves 5 stars regardless but today they went above and beyond. Waited half an hour for my order so went to check up on it and found out their till hadn't flagged it up. They immediately offered me anything off the menu for free as well as my food because of my wait but I declined because it wasn't their fault. When they brought my food they had given me extra fries and then offered to refund my order. Incredible food backed up by really kind and generous staff! Can't recommend this place enough!”
