“We love The Beekeeper. It is a micropub in the truest sense. It is very cosy, has a little fireplace, and has a very cute little bar. The small range of beers are always good, and they've got a great little spirit selection (the food rating is for the drinks). It has been a fantastic addition to Hillsborough, and long may it keep pouring! Cheers.”

“Fantastic, good old fashioned business - 3 generations of them, always happy to help or advise. Plus they carry about every different thing, or booze in that shop, as it's possible to fit into a lovely small space without Dr. Who's TARDIS; which is obviously bigger on the inside than the outside - which is impossible; Trust me, I was bored senseless by reading Maths for 4 years, and was taught how to prove 1+1=2 - why do we need to prove it? Also, the only funny maths joke is: "What does a constipated Mathematician do?******************************************* Answer: Work it out with a Pencil. It really is, the best corner shop - a bit like 'Open All Hours', but without Arkwright & Granville, the Piranha cash register, and the need to sell you things you didn't come in for and don't want, or if you're ever in China: "我不要" (wǒ bù yào) means "I don't want" - pronounced as it is spelt - useful phrase! “I had an absolute brilliant night at the village screen watching The Princess Bride. The staff were all incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. The cave was so cool and decked out with lights and chairs. We got a snuggle package which was great! (Blankets, hot water bottles and sweeties!) the atmosphere was really cool and we loved the food vendors on offer just a short walk from the cave. I can’t wait to bring more people here!”

“I don’t often leave reviews but was really impressed with my dinner at Rosmarino recently! The food was so good and I felt like there were lots of options in the menu I liked the look of. We got the bruschetta and arancini starters - both so nicely done and very yummy. Both enjoyed our pasta choices too, and with one alcoholic drink each our bill was so reasonable. Lovely little restaurant would definitely recommend!”

We ordered: Starters - Tzakziki, Hummus (both come with traditional Iranian bread) & Dolmeh Mains - Chenjeh (with skin on fries to share) & Spring Chicken (with Zeresk Polo Rice to share) Recommend saving some of the dips from the starter to enjoy with your mains! We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!”

“Lovely little real ale 'homemade' gem of a pub.. Apparently built and owned by the guy who runs it - and his dedication shows in bundles. There's a popular quiz night, very well kept beers, a cosy quirky decor and it's dog friendly.. It's not very big though so it can be a bit of a squeeze when it's busy. A couple of small steps and quite a tight doorway entrance, but possible to get a wheelchair in with some assistance + it's not open every day so check the times before setting off. You won't be disappointed!”

“If you like Italian food,then you don't need to look any further than here. We booked a very early evening time slot on a saturday evening for 5.00pm. Thinking we would get there before the crowds. How wrong can you be? The car park was almost full. This is no more a hidden gem. It's shining in the spotlight and so pleased to see them doing so well. This is one of those very rare restaurants, where if you can't choose what to order you could just leave up to the chef to decide for you. The food is all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though they were busy,the service was spot on and friendly. Staff are totally on the ball and constantly checking on every table. If you are going to go,make sure you book!”
