“Lovely theatre, definitely worth a visit.”

“Visited with our 2 children (5 and 8) and did 1 night Eat, Sleep and Play which was excellent value. We had a great couple of days and the Pixie Pod was absolutely brilliant. The rides were perfect for the children’s ages. Husband and eldest child paid extra for Archery in the morning which they really enjoyed. The instructor was really friendly and would definitely recommend taking part in this if you can. Would have liked a little longer for check out as it was a bit of a rush to have breakfast, checkout and get to the archery for 9am but but we managed it. (Check out was 10 but would have crossed over with the archery so had to do it early) Would definitely return whilst the children are still young!”

“Plenty of parking, a great lounge serving nice cappuccino. We relaxed and enjoyed the match as spectators as the lads had a very competitive game. The centre has 9 pitches of which 5 were in use while we were there. Seemed to be a popular place for playing, watching or just enjoying a drink in the lounge while watching sports on the screen.”

“Site manager is very helpful. Awesome architecture if you’re into that sort of thing. Car park spaces are tight. Walkways in the sky are fab, most of the refurbished flats are stunning, good office spaces. Glass lift gives nice views across Sheffield.”

“I requested a prescription last Friday. I went to collect it yesterday. Another prescription (that I had requested that same morning) was already ready to collect. I am well impressed, especially when we are usually told to wait 2- 3 working days.”

“A superb campsite, for all types. Nice friendly checkin and Lovely large shower/toilet blocks and a very nice converted barn which is the bar area with a large choice of drinks. They have a games room and play areas for the kids too, something for everyone. Very quiet at night on the section I stayed in. The pitches were a good size, plenty of room for an awning on the caravan with parking next to you too.”

“It's a really nice space, much used and very well cared for by the volunteers. I took my litter picker upper, aspiring to a place in the pantheon. There's also an excellent, authentic 1950s style café open in the mornings with all appropriate delicacies - Perfect.”

“Had a lovely family walk around the lake at Thrybergh Country Park. The sunny yet Autumnal weather was glorious and the lake was so clear, it was really impressive. The flat and level path around the lake was a nice steady walk and on a Saturday afternoon didn't seem too busy with dog walkers and joggers. Approximately 50% of the path around the lake is relatively new tarmac, with the rest compacted material with a few puddles, but nothing difficult to navigate. The small playground entertained my kids for about half an hour and me and my wife enjoyed a great and competitively priced coffee from the cafe to enjoy on the benches nearby. I was thoroughly impressed with how free from litter the whole county park was. It was noticeably clean and tidy, so the park rangers are clearly doing a fantastic job.”

“A wonderful green space in Mansfield. Immaculately kept. A popular cafe next to the Boules clubhouse The thriving boules club is amazing. Wonderful friendly group who are happy to include new comers With six terrains where they play in league games and competitions are very good. Long may it last. IThank you all for making my brother and me so welcome”

“Play park. Open space. Little pond. Shady spots. Perfect for jogging or cycling. Picnics and quick play.”

“Went with the kids to kill some time and got alot more than we bargained for. Went for a walk around the cricket field, on past the cafe, toilets, and playground. Round the lake (unfortunately miniature train only runs during the school holidays so will have to go back when we're over next time) and back to the ice cream van. Headed up to another playground where they also have all weather soccer pitch. But to top it off for the kids, there was a funfair which was just opening, made their day. Watched some cricket before we left. Spotlessly clean. Suitable for wheelchairs and budgies. Plenty of space for picnics.”

“Somersall Park is a great family location with lots of space to picnic and play. The Hipper river flows through but is shallow enough to paddle around in on hot sunny days. Dogs love it here, too.”

“With over 20 miles of cycle paths, it's a great way of seeing and enjoying this National Trust Property. If you don't need to make use of the NT Car Parks it doesn't cost anything either (Free parking if you are a NT member).”

“A spontaneous breakfast date for my husband and I. We had been here for drinks before but never eaten. It was incredible, our hostess Sarah was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, big smile on her face and a quick chat everything she stopped by. How she got around the restaurant serving everyone so fast I will never know but she was a stellar hostess. The food was beyond delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection, the sausage and bacon was mouth-watering. The lovely surprise of unlimited coffee was definitely a boon. The restaurant was nice and quiet, the atmosphere wonderfully calm. We had a lovely much needed date and chose the perfect place. Thankyou to all at the Harvester for a wonderful visit.”

“I had a slow puncture and wanted it repairing that day. The Leppings Lane depot got me in an hour later, quickly diagnosed a leaking valve, and had it replaced, all inside 20mins. Great service, thanks!”

I didn't have means to get back to civilisation so the chap behind the front desk gave me a lift to the nearby shopping centre. Thank you gentlemen. Can’t complain with the price either! Got straight to the point in a lovely manner. I will certainly be coming back here in future. If you’re unsure and apprehensive on trying a new garage. “I absolutely adore this place ! I’ve just started fishing again after 40 years and it’s ace ! Facilities have been upgraded the site looks smart . I live an hour away but when I have any time off this is my go to place for fishing , don’t need all the gear , just a rod or pole bit of bait and you catch all day long and the scenery is lovely . Well worth a visit ! Thanks”
