“Stayed here for one night . Everything you need for a budget stay. Location not central however staff very helpful . Rooms were great for the price Large rooms . Extra services ie hairdryer and ironing board . No bar and lift was broken didn't cause us an issue but as we on third floor would have been a problem if you had mobility issues Overall a good size room and clean Good value for money”

“Stopped off here for a night while driving from up north to down south. Really good hotel, staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was plenty large and the atmosphere of the hotel was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with a nice restaurant area. Great location with a Morrisons across the road, easy access to the motorway and Rotherham only a few minutes drive down the road. Really good price and value for money, especially if you sign up to the free Ibis/Accor membership for members prices. Would recommend!”

“Stayed at prime lodge and after reading Google reviews I was a bit worried. But after arrival I found the reviews to be very unfair. The room could do with a revamp but otherwise is was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would happily return. Staff friendly and if you enter your reg at reception you don't get charged for parking. I love the motel style as it makes rooms much more private. For the price the hotel was more than worth it . Thank you.”

“Our Staffordshire Bull Terrier spent a week with Jayne while we were on holiday. She was brilliant at sticking to his special diet for allergies, ensured he had his medication on schedule, provided lots of enrichment opportunities and looked after him as though he was her own. We loved the photo and video updates throughout the week. He returned to us looking very happy and well cared for. The initial booking and trial visit processes were also very thorough. We will definitely be using WagnBone Adventures again in the future.”

“Brilliant little groomers! Demi is fantastic at what she does and very reasonably priced. Take my Malamute every 6months to be groomed and have never been unsatisfied! He always looks amazing and smells even better! If you want to help a small local business this is the place to go! staff are always friendly and welcoming, always happy to give any advice and will groom any breed big or small”

“After having a bad experience at the previous vets we decided to move. We registered 2 beagles. One for a booster and one for a full health check. The vet who dealt with our boys was very kind and professional. She went above and beyond what we booked in for an kept the dogs calm.”

“Today was the first time I have taken my two little dogs to Shih Tzu Grooming Salon and I am so pleased with the service and friendly atmosphere. My dogs look and smell beautiful. I would highly recommend the salon. It is one of the best I have seen, it is modern and airy and you can see the girls working on other dogs, who seem to be calm and relaxed and happy to be there. “From the outside view, the cakes and the staff, this place is a hidden gem so many drive past without realising. The apple pie and victoria sponge are delicious. The staff so friendly, chatty, when they have time as it can be busy. Get yourself in there you won't regret it.”

“We’ve had 9 dogs over the years and all have gone frequently to Sandy Lane Kennels. They have all loved it especially Darcy my bulldog. She claws at the reception door to get in. They are so well looked after by Jamie, Tom and their team. Can’t recommend them enough.”

“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”

“A big thank you to A1 Cats Country Hotel for taking care of Tina. She is 18 year old. The vet was concerned that she was losing weight. However a 7 day stay at A1 proved to be beneficial. She didn't want to come home and had put on a good bit of weight.”
