“Absolutely stunning food, amazing how it comes out of such a tiny kitchen! We had the £38 menu and certainly weren't disappointed with lovely little tasters between courses. You must try the venison! Warm atmosphere with Japanese inspried decor, only space for 28 covers so booking far ahead is essential, Great attentive service.”

“Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“Warm welcome as we arrived. Had the lobster, salad and side of frys. It was well presented and absolutely delicious. Great selection of seafood with thick slices of good quality bread and butter. Finished the meal with a lovely chocolate brownie and ice cream. Lovely evening.”

“This was such an amazing find! My partner found this beauty by mistake when we were looking at going out for food at lunch and it was even better than expected! The food was amazing, choice was good (I'm veggy so always a tiny issue at times) and absolutely delicious. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and could not do enough to help. Plus, the view of the planes and the runway was amazing along with earwigging on the members there which was so interesting. We'll definitely be back!”

“This was a gift and we chose the shorter lunch option as we didn't have experience of tasting menus. The service was very friendly and welcoming, not intimidating at all. All the menu was explained but not in excessive detail. I had the wine pairing which was well worth it with 2 English wines included. I think this was a good value menu for the amount of detail in the cooking and number of courses . The alcohol menu is also extensive and not over priced.”

“We traveled 1 hour to Abu adams just to have some authentic arabic food and it did not disappoint. We ordered the hummus with meat, baba ghanoush, falafel(5 stars),arayees, batata hara,chicken sambousak, chicken shawarma and kibbeh. Amazing food. For anyone who's had authentic arabic food and are missing it, this is the place to be. We left with the diners satisfaction. Will definitely go back for the main courses. Friendly staff as well.”

“What a lovely little find! We were in Sheffield for a night and found this place on a search for some Indian food. The food was delicious and great to try something different to other Indian restaurants. The owner was very friendly and the waitress also was really helpful at explaining the menu and helping us choose. Would recommend if you are in the area.”

“Went to castleton for a holiday and was so bored of eating pub food so decided to try 1530. The building was constructed in 1530 hence the name. I went there with my partner to have some quality time. The service, food, wine pairing and atmosphere was just so good. They even have some vegetarian options and that was a win for me! 10/10 would visit again if I’m back in castleton!”

“If you want a great meat dish and have money to spare, this restaurant could be a good choice. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for extra brisket on top. It was a very good choice. The main course was truly legendary. The meat was cooked to perfection and was very juicy. Unfortunately, the desserts were weak, but we can overlook that :)”

“I recently attended a presentation, which was hosted here, by Chris Potts about his experiences on HMS Glamorgan during 1982. It was a great evening at a lovely venue such as The Cross Keys is. We were served an absolutely gorgeous buffet half way through the evening which was well received. The staff were all very polite and efficient and at end of the evening it was my pleasure to meet the lovely owners, Tony and Hayley who went out of their way to make this a special evening. From another ex-Glamorgan, I too served on that great ship back in 1982, thankyou I will remember the evening with pleasure you are fine hosts!”

“Had a delicious meal at Pasha Turkish restaurant in Barnsley yesterday evening. There were 6 of us (aged 22 to 85 years old), and all of us enjoyed our food - it was fresh, cooked to order (e.g. one of us asked for their dish to be made without one of the listed ingredients), deliciously tasty, and good sized portions. Great service - the waitresses were pleasant, attentive, and professional. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, I’ve marked it down to 4 stars as the temperature was a little cooler than most and I was glad I had a cardigan. Although Pasha is on a side street in town, there is plenty of parking (including free parking if you know where to go - I gave the restaurant a ring in advance as I’m from out of town, and they were were very helpful) All in all, from our experience yesterday, this restaurant deserves to be popular.”
