“Had a fantastic time at The Robinhood! This is a proper pub. They don't serve food, but who needs it when you've got everything else? ​The atmosphere is spot-on, with a great mix of locals and newcomers. The live music was excellent and really added to the vibe. Plus, there's a pool table and a dartboard, which kept us entertained for hours. We also caught the live sports on the big screen, and the setup was perfect. ​The staff were friendly and efficient, and the drinks are a greart price (£3.50 a John Smiths). If you're looking for a great night out with good music, a lively atmosphere, and a place to catch the match.”

“The quality of the bacon chop I had was excellent, and the preparation of lunch and dessert likewise. The service was also pleasant and engaging. The ambiance inside the restaurant was superb, even very cosy coal fires. And a bonus for me is they are dog friendly too. Last but not least the view of the "lake" was very much to my liking. If I were to visit the area again I would definitely seek to dine there again, my compliments to the chef!”

“We were visit Winchester overnight and spotted the Anchor and Crown across the road. We popped on and had a delightful meal which was fully homecooked and delicious. Service was wonderful, the staff are so friendly and up for a chat. Throughly enjoyed our meal and time there.”

“Took my elderly Uncle and friends to have lunch. The staff were ready with a ramp for his mobility scooter and were attentive throughout our visit. The roast beef was delicious and pudding to die for. Compared to London prices (where I live) this was a very reasonably priced visit. Go give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Fantastic! Went with family for a birthday meal for my wife, Lip smacking Starter platter having crispy chicken wings and strips, Cheesy Nachos, Toasty Garlic bread and Crunchy onion rings. Daughter had the kids menu deal, Tomato pasta with side veggie, a fruity drink, and a brownie and ice-cream dessert for just £4.99, Good quantity, couldn't finish it all.. and the colouring kit and make your own Bottle bunny that came with the meal was an added bonus! She loved it! Birthday girl wifey had the Sirloin steak.... I sneaked a bite and it was cooked just as we liked it .. so soft and buttery... Chips cooked absolutely right, crunchy outside, creamy inside. My steak sandwich... Mind blowing!.. couldn't finish it and had to take most of it home. Yummy Honeycomb and Brownie ice-cream, Helps supports the Macmillan nurses, A good deed with a great treat! Service is top notch... Fantastic experience, would love to visit again!”

“Hands down the best mixed grill I've had in a very long time. The only constructive criticism would be to splash the egg with the oil towards the end of cooking it, as the one served to me was quite snotty but putting that aside, smashed it chefs.”

“Many thanks for a wonderful family Christmas dinner. The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. You really can’t beat an open fire. It’s a very popular pub which is always a good sign. We were NOT disappointed! Shout out to Beth, our wonderful main waitress. There were a lot of us, spread over numerous tables, the food arrived promptly and we never ran dry of drinks….we all had a great time. Shout out to Lisa, the manager.
