“We had an amazing stay at the Tythe Barn House! We stayed in The Granary with 2 adults and 3 kids! Had a little front room kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms! Nice cosy little cottage! The host was lovely and she made us all very welcome! Cooked us a great breakfast in the morning! PS the local dominos delivers here which I is handy”

“We stayed at the Lamb Guest Inn as part of a wedding party. It was my husband, one year old daughter, and I. The hosts were more than genuine and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we not only had everything us adults needed, but our daughter as well. They provided a pack n’ play for her to sleep in, a high chair at breakfast, and even provided special lacto free milk for her. Everything was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was homemade to order. Some of the best food we had during our whole stay in London. The location is an easy, safe walk to all the downtown bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc. It honestly felt like we were at my grandparents house the way they took care of us. I would definitely highly recommend and look forward to hopefully staying here again.”

“Fabulous stay. Scrummy breakfast. Choice of whatever combination of cooked bits you wanted. Lovely toast. Homemade quince jam! Breakfast trifle (healthy!) yumyumyum! Felt so looked after. David was so thoughtful & caring & hospitable. Pot of tea on arrival (with biccies!) & fresh coffee brought to your door before breakfast. Definitely recommend if you want that real homely experience. Hartington is a best village, so B&B is great location for walks. But what makes it special is how you are looked after! “I stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away. Helen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome (the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox) with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.”

“Had a fabulous overnight stay at Cul Mor absolutely perfect, lovely and quiet rural location with great opportunities for walking to explore local area & nature reserve which we loved. “Having stopped in the finest hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts before I can only describe this one as 5+ stars. From booking, to arriving, the welcome, the accommodation, and the food was all first class. The cost was very reasonable, I would have expected to pay much more given how good it was. The location is perfect for visits to Stoke on Trent and there are a host of great local pubs to eat at within 20 minutes. Breakfast was ideal and would recommend the oatcakes! “Recently got married here and we had a perfect day. Carol was very involved with organising but was never in the way. Nothing we wanted was ever any trouble and the planning process was smooth thanks to the staff. Brett who runs the marquees and wedding side of the business was incredible and again very accommodating. Lovely family and great place. Would definitely recommend staying here for a holiday as well as a wedding as the house is incredible and has everything you could ever need.”

“AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“We stayed for 3 weeks whilst having renovations at home leek. What a great place! Location is amazing, so quite private and peaceful. Such a warm welcome on arrival, including homemade cakes and a tour to show us the ropes. Our stay covered Halloween and such a surprise when we returned that evening with our children, the barn had been decorated beautifully, such a lovely touch, and we were given sparklers on bonfire night. Really cosy, all the amenities, brilliantly equipped kitchen, fab utility room. I worked from here for 3 weeks, conference calls via laptop all worked great. 5 mins drive to Leek town centre. Could not ask for more and have recommended to several people already. Thank you so much to the hosts.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Pamper Van, it had beautiful scenery, a lovely host, the Van has excellent cleanliness and the host left us treats (bread, muffins, milk, Prosecco, a range of teas and coffees). “In April 2024 we decided to sell our lovely home and follow our dream of retiring somewhere more rural. We approached three local estate agents to visit the house and chose Josh from Royal Fox. Right from our first meeting he was enthusiastic, positive and loved the house. Who better to sell it for us? The marketing was fabulous and really showcased our house with some lovely photos. We had lots of viewings and quickly received an offer which we accepted. Unfortunately our buyers sale fell through and we were back on the market. We then had a second and third sale all fall through all due to their chain collapsing and were becoming despondent.
