“This little Greek restaurant may be difficult to find as it's situated within the food hall on the ground floor of Selfridges. The wife and I had a very enjoyable meal here coupled with friendly and efficient service. Hard to fault. Update: Until today's visit, whilst the food was OK sadly the service was a bit of a shambles. Apparently two staff didn't turn up. However I have never had a problem here before and the manager apologised profusely and made a generous gesture. Things can go wrong and I have to give them credit for how they tried to put it right. We'll be back.”

“There’s much to be said about this stay, but I will try and keep it short. This is not the first time we’re staying here, and it’s become our preferred hotel, when we visit annually, all the way from Wales. It’s warm, nicely decorated and comfortable. Today however, the reception greeting was quite icy. We were 1/2 hour early for check-in, and the reception lady refused to consider early check in to avoid the crowds creating a bottleneck at 14:00. There’s something to be said about efficiency in process execution. If you allow early check in even if the room is still being prepared, keep the access card aside for collection at the appropriate time, avoiding queues and bottlenecks - basic Lean Six Sigma principles, leaving staff less stressed as well. On the other hand, what fabulous service from the catering staff, Joel and Ina!! I got what I ordered, a tasty steak and chips with mushroom sauce to die for, cooked to perfection! I was absolutely satisfied when I took my last bite, enjoying every mouth full. Ina even offered a steak knife without having to be asked, now that’s proactive thinking, much appreciated! And thanks to Joel for prepping the food, it was like tasting food from home, making me nostalgic. You guys make a mean team, thank you once again for excellent customer service xx”

“We have hundreds of visits to Nando’s on our belts. On arrival we was greeted by Tom, it was toms first day. What an absolute breath of fresh air he was. He has customer service you can not teach, a down to earth larger than life individual who for his first day asked all the normal questions about allegens and if it was our first visit but also how our day was going, it was going bad up until this point and made me feel welcome and warming. He didn’t stop here a child opposite had pop he didn’t like and Tom managed to observe this issue and asked if he would like to swap glasses which visibly made the child’s experience happy. A table behind us had an issue with heat of the chicken and he was swiftly trying to resolve, doing all this while introducing himself with a handshake to his colleagues that were walking in starting shift. I have never experienced anything as amazing as Tom and if I had a business card I honestly would have tried poach him for my business. What a credit to Nando’s and please hold onto him.”

Even though there weren’t many people there, that made it all the more special as Mia tailored the music to our interests and made us feel special overall! The line dancing was such a fun experience and we were never left drink-less! As we went on a Sunday we watched them do dance practice and it was amazing! My mouth was agape the ENTIRE time. You never can trust that the vegan option is good and of course I’d expect nothing less than perfection from MPW, but this truly was delicious. The chocolate fudge cake was particularly delicious and was everything you would want from a chocolate cake. The sandwiches featured beetroot, cucumber and hummus, all served on brown bread and tasted great. I had sparkling water and an oat milk latte, and it was all very well presented with exceptional service. Aarieti (Apologies if that’s spelt incorrectly) was super friendly and polite, and I really enjoyed the experience. I didn’t have a window seat but it didn’t matter as the panoramic views were fantastic.”

“Been too busy to post a review - apologies! I hope this is a fair and honest review, bit crowded (but Friday night so understandable), slowish on drinks service (it's Friday night again). Fantastically funny and friendly doorman (I'd give him a job in our PR - interested? £90,000 plus car). Girls lot of fun - the guys I'd taken (2 lots) on a company acheivement night were a bit reluctant to have a dance because I was paying, overall a great night, cost not important really as it's not every night is it, staff were fine but it's late for them as well and they're having to deal with large numbers of idiots, toilets etc bit dodgy - Friday night again! Girls I did'nt think were pressurising - it's their job what do you expect? I was a sort of regular to London Rhino as my office is nearly next door, sadly it's not open at the moment - Birmingham you're good but not quite at London (or Santa Barbara) standard but yes you earned your 5 stars”
