“After trying many of the other local Currys houses I found Box Trees Indian. Box Trees Indian is a real gem! From the moment you arrive, Syed and his team make you feel so welcome – they are friendly, attentive, and always happy to go the extra mile. The service is outstanding and really adds to the whole experience. The food is just as impressive. Every dish is bursting with flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and freshness in each bite. Whether it’s a classic curry or something a little different, everything is consistently delicious. They are always willing to advise and tailor a dish to your taste also. With amazing staff and incredible food, Box Trees Indian easily deserves five stars. “In our opinion the best Indian takeaway in the area and also the best value for money. Have been regulars for a number of years now and sadly not operating at the moment due to a refurbishment. A helpful guy who answered the phone recommended Spice of Lye which was 'ok' just not the same. Hopefully it will be back open again soon.”

“Had some food from here for the first time last night, only a simple meal some plain fries and Korean fried chicken, we were really impressed with how exceptionally nice the food tasted It was fresh clearly cooked to order piping hot and so flavoursome and tasted amazing. The fries were so crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the centre The chicken huge breast portions oozing with tasty sauce. Very impressive The server was also super polite and friendly which is a pleasant change. Will be back for more !”

“Outstanding customer service I normally wouldn’t start a review like that however it is the headline. They had been an incident so traffic was delayed so my wife rang ahead to say we might be a bit late it was a Friday evening when the heavens have just opened. Monsoon weather in the middle of summer. From the moment we got their you the staff was very pleasant and even delayed the closing so they could accommodate a few of the late comers on another table so if you’re ever in Birmingham I would highly recommend a visit”

“Popped over to Harvester Arden oak to have some food with the other half. I have never had bad service here but tonight's was the best by far. We were looked after by Maisey and Lucas. Both very professional, polite and made the experience very comfortable. Please pass on our comments and the fact they provided such an experience over the festive period that I know can be stressful is brillaint. Thank you, we look forward to our next visit :)”

“First time here and loved every bit. The server was attentive and stopped by a couple of times to see that everything was okay. Service was prompt and the sunday roast was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was clean and ambience was good”

“Have dined many times at San Carlo over the years living in Birmingham. Food is always good. Wine list caters to all budgets. And they have great seafood dishes. There are two levels to the restaurant and we were sat at a table tucked away which was great. Lots of mirrors with a ceiling full of artificial roses. It’s over the top but suits the venue and adds to the experience. Great wine. Lots of Italian choices. We had a couple bottles of the primitivo after a round of negronis (pleased an Italian place can make these well too) My starter was overdone under the grill. I’ve had the baked aubergine parmagiano many times and this unfortunately wasn’t their best. Monkfish tagliatelle and the shared dessert more than made up for it. The dessert was three mini portions per person and a limoncello shot for £9 each. Great value. Will look forward to my next visit.”

“Very nice decor, large restaurant with plenty of different seating and levels. Staff was very attentive and sat us very quickly, it was a quiet day. The table was big enough for all our food, there was salt and pepper at the table. We used a buyagift voucher with a set menu, this was very easy to use. Food was great, served quickly, staff checked on us regularly and were very nice and polite. We parked in the Asda car park as we did a little shopping afterwards (3h free parking).”

“Never been before. Really surprised somewhere so good is so close and I didn't know. Food was excellent. There were 4 of us and we all had something different. Very generous portions and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.”

“Absolutely love the coffee at LEON on Birmingham New Street — one of the best-tasting coffees I’ve had in the area! Rich, smooth, and full of flavour. Always freshly brewed. Highly recommend for any coffee lover! I especially want to give a big shoutout to staff members — AGATQ , Mark and ABAD. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. “Been today after the renovation and now I think, new owners. They now serve alcohol. The place pretty much looks the same as before but cleaner, however their menu has changed - long story short, their prices have gone up and their portion size has gone down and no-one likes that (picture where food is served in a white plate was before renovation) (the video is when we visited today, both mixed grill, you can see the portion difference) ordered Halloumi cheese which was around £5-7 if I didn't look at my bill the girl would've over charged me £13 for this (which is equivalent to a meal) lol these mistakes cannot be happening.. before renovation used to be my regular if I want turkish cuisine,.. I don't know about that anymore..”

“We have hundreds of visits to Nando’s on our belts. On arrival we was greeted by Tom, it was toms first day. What an absolute breath of fresh air he was. He has customer service you can not teach, a down to earth larger than life individual who for his first day asked all the normal questions about allegens and if it was our first visit but also how our day was going, it was going bad up until this point and made me feel welcome and warming. He didn’t stop here a child opposite had pop he didn’t like and Tom managed to observe this issue and asked if he would like to swap glasses which visibly made the child’s experience happy. A table behind us had an issue with heat of the chicken and he was swiftly trying to resolve, doing all this while introducing himself with a handshake to his colleagues that were walking in starting shift. I have never experienced anything as amazing as Tom and if I had a business card I honestly would have tried poach him for my business. What a credit to Nando’s and please hold onto him.”

“I visited this Nandos for the first time; we were seated very quickly. The staff were polite and friendly throughout our time here. The food arrived 10 minutes after ordering which was great considering they appeared to be short staffed as only 1 member of staff on the shop floor. The food was hot and tasty, no complaints. I will definitely be back again!”
