“Lovely place! I had a tapioca crepe, and it was delicious (even the dressing on the side salad!). My coffee was also excellent. I will be back to try the other menu items and desserts. The gentleman serving me was very welcoming and friendly.”
“Amazing service from Clint and his team ! We booked these guys for a family function for 80 people. The buffet was delivered bang on time nice and hot ! And it looked beautiful and tasted great . More than enough food as well .Thanks so much .Eamonn and Family.”
“Amazing. Jack and Lucy have made Dubberley Delicious private dining an experience not to be missed. Eight course fine dining menu tailored to our tastes, all prepared and cooked fresh in the kitchen next to your table. Nothing is rushed, we were there for about 3 hours, each course being explained with extra insight given into the preparation. Seasonal menu that prides itself on using local and British produce, even the Wagyu is from Welsh Wagyu cattle. Private dining isn't cheap, we paid a little over £135 each including drinks. Already checking our dairy to see when we can go again.”
“Popped in for a drink as it looked nice from the outside and ended up staying for three or four. The guys who own it were phenomenally friendly and the vibe was brilliant. Even brought us some tasters. Would recommend for sure, and we will be back.”
“Rio’s shop is absolutely incredible! The service is outstanding—the staff are so polite, friendly, and attentive that you feel genuinely cared for the entire time. The food is unbelievably delicious, every dish full of rich flavor and cooked to perfection. You can really tell how much effort and love goes into everything they serve. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s an experience that leaves you wanting to come back again and again. Truly one of the best spots around!”
“Kieron’s service was outstanding – he made everything so simple for us with our baby. He truly deserves a pay rise! The food came out hot and quickly, and the pornstar martinis were amazing. A brilliant experience overall.”
“Delicious food, amazing service, and beautiful atmosphere. I came here with my Family and we are so glad we chose lanonna restaurant Everything we ordered was outstanding and the service was incredible. The staff were so kind,”
“Initially I wanted to get a takeaway dinner from Rudy’s but they were too busy for a quick takeaway collection. Went here instead and tbh this was much tastier and obviously healthier than pizza. Place is clean, food was reasonably priced and service was quick and professional! I’d go back again!”
“A truly special evening. Phenomenal food (really unexpected combinations that JUST WORK!) an amazing playlist and really personable staff. The evening was more than we expected and we will not hesitate to return and go the WHOLE HOG! An amazing experience. Would recommend. Sonal was particularly suave (you’ll know when you meet him!)”
“I legit have no words. Myself and my partner who visit Lindos often kept reminiscing for months on months saying we wish England UK had a restaurant. We came from Wolverhampton drove down and it was worth every mile. Honestly I’m shocked how tasteful it resembles back to Greece. Will definitely be returning!! Best UK restaurant by far”
“Had a smash meal with Mac and cheese fries. Food was delicious, fresh and cooked perfectly! The staff were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with too. The only shame for me was the small gang of moody dudes chilling on the car park taking up two spaces per car and giving my wife and I weird, prolonged looks while we waited in the car for the food to be done. This is by no means the fault of the restaurant though so no stars lost today. I only stopped by because the smell caught us as we drove past, but I'll definitely consider putting in some future just-eat orders and trying more of their menu in the future!”
“Really nice food you can tell they have an amazing chef, and the service was amazing the lady was so friendly”
“Absolutely loved the Tandoori Pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy, the chicken was full of flavor, and the smoky taste from the wood fire made it extra special. A perfect mix of spices and cheesy goodness. Highly recommend!”
“Absolutely amazing experience at the chefs table last night. The service was outstanding: staff were so friendly and welcoming and attentive. The food was incredible and the eduction around the meal we had from head chef was really great. The drinks we had were also so good, we really appreciated how everything had a UK/Birmingham twist. Outstanding.”
“Excellent menu and staff. Everything was very fast despite the restaurant being fully booked. They served anyone who was even a moment free. There's a separate dessert menu.”
“Exceptional hospitality - genuinely cannot remember more attentive and personal service. The food was excellent with very generous portions. Lovely atmosphere. A wonderful Romanian evening!”
“Such an amazing gem of a restaurant. The best and most humblest owner and host, made us feel so welcome - he especially showed incredible care to my 1 year old. On to the food, everything looked and tasted AMAZING! The salad was TOP notch and the meat was SOOOO succulent and mouth watering. The sauces were SPECIALLY amazing, much much better than any we get elsewhere - owner makes it himself! If we were local to the restaurant we’d be there ALL the time.”
“We visited this Caribbean shop while traveling, and the experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like family. While we waited for our food, he kindly offered my child a free drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The atmosphere felt inviting and genuine—like being welcomed into someone’s home. It’s rare to find this level of hospitality, especially where we live in Germany. We truly appreciated the kindness and wish we lived closer so we could come back more often!”
“I've Just moved to the area and started going on my days off for lunch or breakfast. Really tasty food with a big menu, the prices are very reasonable 10/10.”
“Small gem of a place to eat with a big menu selection. The service was fantastic and friendly. The food was delicious especially the lamb donner meat that comes in with the pamo box, which I order myself. Value for money deals. I would highly recommend a try and I would definitely visit again.”
“I went for the Bacon & Scrambled Egg Wrap & an Iced Latte. considering the cheap price the food was excellent, lovely interior and staff are friendly and dropped it to me as I work a few doors down. Definitely worth a visit!”
“We came here for an anniversary dinner and we had a lovely time, thank you! The food is superb and staff were brilliant. The veggie menu was great and my partner loved his pork main. If I could make one suggestion, the wine list seems to be mostly 'easy to drink' wines, it could do with some more advanced, adventurous options. Especially reds, I wish there was a proper smoky red to go with the beef and pork. It's a beautiful place, so jealous of the walled vegetable garden, ! Would come back for sure”
“Cliffords Cafe in Polesworth : Where Time is a Suggestion Seven out of Five Stars (The Scale Cannot Contain It) In an era dominated by artisanal sourdough and oat milk lattes served in reclaimed terracotta, Cliffords Cafe in Pol stands as a magnificent, defiant monument to the way things should be. This isn't just a café; it's a sensory immersion into a highly specific version of coastal Britain, circa 1993, and we are blessed to be its devotees. Stepping into Cliffords is like being wrapped in a blanket woven from the aroma of frying bacon, damp dog, and industrial-strength floor polish. The atmosphere is less "curated aesthetic" and more "everything we've owned since 1985, artfully placed." The décor is a stunning collision of plastic tablecloths (wiped clean with the dedication of a professional chef, yet retaining the ghosts of countless jam spills), mismatched mugs, and local notices thumbtacked over other, older local notices. The Architectural Marvel of the Toastie The menu here is a masterclass in clarity. There are no pretenders, no spiralized vegetables, and definitely no "deconstructed" anything. You are here for the classics, and Cliffords delivers them with the gravity of a papal decree. The Toastie, in particular, deserves its own monograph. It is not just toasted bread and cheese; it is a thermal insulation device, a pocket of molten dairy sealed into a crispy, golden rectangle. It demands a four-minute cool-down period before consumption, as the interior temperature is scientifically engineered to cauterize any latent dental issues. The chips are golden, plentiful, and retain a perfectly crisp exterior—a triumph of frying oil technology. Service & Philosophy The service at Cliffords operates on a beautiful, Zen-like principle: "It’ll be ready when it’s ready, and not a moment before." This is not slow service; this is forced meditation. It encourages mindfulness, prompting you to truly appreciate the simple things, like the sound of the kettle boiling, or the sight of the same local fisherman reading the same local paper he was reading yesterday. When your mug of tea arrives—a brew so robust it could probably strip wallpaper—you feel a profound sense of accomplishment. If you require chrome finishes, silent service, or a charging port at every seat, you misunderstand the assignment. Cliffords Cafe is the real deal: a beacon of greasy, cozy, unpretentious perfection. Go, order the largest portion of something fried, and allow yourself to be transported. You'll leave feeling full, warm, and profoundly grateful for the lack of irony.”
“I only had a coffee but it was a very good coffee. The service was great but the atmosphere a bit lacking due to me being the only customer.”
“Food delicious and like you would make it at home, fantastic service, lovely music and atmosphere, very kind owner! Definitely place to go to! 5*****”
“Eaten from here a couple of times, definitely recommended!! The food always arrives hot! Make sure you have an appetite because the portions are phenomenal, you definitely get your moneys worth and more!! Always on point and the food is so so good! Best place to get a burger locally!”
“Amazing salad today. The chicken tikka was beautiful and fabulous service from the owner. Will be a lunch regular for sure.”
“Had a very good experience, the wait was around 40 minutes and food took another 30/40 minutes which is quite a wait however the food made up for it and it was well worth the wait. Food quality was on point, tasted amazing and since I visited while there was offers on it was well worth the money. Banging food. The girls who take the orders were a great help with everything and I have no complaints.”
