“We went this morning for breakfast with Santa, all staff were delightful. Always greeted and seated promptly, Emma took our order swiftly and between her and the rest of the team looked after us well. Mrs Claus came and collected us to go see Santa, who was delightful. I would 100% recommend the harvester for breakfast as well as breakfast with Santa.”

“I've been here quite a lot especially over the past couple years, before I even went vegan -- I'm surprised I haven't left a review left, regardless, the staff are all super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely, especially on the occasional candlelit evening they have. I come here if I want to go a place I know is consistently tasty with a long list of vegan options and fast, efficient but kind service. The main thing that draws my partner and I in aside are the fact they are pet friendly (we bring our cats here) and the evening open mics every other Tuesday as these are both things that make us want to keep on returning. I have also been here with a friend who has several allergens (to name the ones I know off my head shellfish, soya, crustaceans, peanuts and mango) and he has had a positive experience with the team when ordering as they were able to work with his allergens and ensure that everything was safe for him to eat -- not only did they do this through verbal confirmation at the bar but they also have an online allergen matrix which is regularly updated with the allergens of every item on the menu which is super helpful for people with allergens in their party to be able to check what they can eat prior to visiting. “The service was excellent. My daughter has Ceoliacs and the young girl who served me was really helpful if advising how best to order. The food was served very quickly and was fresh and to spec. Everywhere was clean and the staff were really friendly. I have moved to the area recently and will definitely be coming back again. Only point I will raise but appreciate it may be due to the time of year but the garden area in the back could do wither the hedges being cut back a bit where you site just to open the area up a little bit. This was very minor though. Overall fantastic.”

“Absolutely amazing – one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. The sizzler dish was outstanding, with an incredibly flavourful selection of perfectly grilled meats. The butter chicken was also excellent: juicy chicken, generous portions, and rich, creamy flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the staff really stood out. A special shoutout to Haniah on till 1 – an absolute legend. He looked after us brilliantly, going above and beyond with thoughtful touches like bringing extra napkins and takeaway boxes before we even had to ask. That kind of care really made the visit feel special. Even the leftovers were delicious the next day! One small tip: bring cash if you’d like to leave a tip as service charge isn’t included and it can’t be added to the card payment. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“What a meal! Simply stunning food. The Church should be sold out every day such is the quality of the food here, I can't believe it wasn't busier. Everything we had was superb, but the beef Sunday roast was one of the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time. We were very greedy and shared three starters too, which were all delicious but probably a bit too much food in total for just the two of us. Nevermind, nothing went to waste! My only criticism was the toasted sourdough was a bit crispy, and I'd have loved the scotch egg to have a runny yolk. But these are minor points in an otherwise perfect meal with faultless service from the great staff.”

“Firstly the building is beautiful and the layout is so nice with big, spaced out tables, the bar on one end, and cosy corners which provides privacy. We were greeted very politely at the door and shown to our table. Food was amazing, so many veggie options! I had the Methi Matar Malai and the Samosas, best ones I've ever had. Cocktails were great too and 2 for £12 is decent so I had quite a few, and still felt very comfortable in the establishment (many people were drinking but no one was being too loud or creepy). Ordering with the QR code was chill and straightforward and staff were still very attentive but also didn't meddle in anyone's business unless we asked for something, they just left us to eat in peace and only came back to collect dishes at the end. Just all round perfect experience. One thing I will say, the car park is tiny for the size of the restaurant so need to get there early and also book a table in advance/ maybe go during the day rather than evening. We will be back!”

“Been wanting to try the food here since seeing Matts videos on Facebook. We had to travel from County Durham to Basingstoke today so decided to detour purely for a Sunday Roast. The food is amazing. Nice and fresh and the red cabbage is out of this world! I had a standard gammon roast and my husband had a large trio of meats, which he struggled to finish. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much. We will definitely be back”
