“Nice atmosphere and very good service. All the staff is very polite and friendly. Delicious braised fish in the Cameroon way and generous portion too that can feed 2 people. Nice beers available like imported Guinness and Leffe for a fair price.”

“This is probably the only decent Carribbean food shop in the city centre. The food is always spot on and the pretty polite lady is always making sure she gets her orders correct! Never disappointed here.”

“Today we went to the fabulous Spa for the Fire and Ice Experience. Been taking friends and family here for ages for special occasions and always love it. But today’s a shout out for the Brabazon Bar, where we go after for drinks and a chat and a lovely bite to eat. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. “We visited The Four Oaks for Sunday Lunch. It was perfect in every way. We were greeted at the entrance by a polite member of staff who immediately took us to our table, as we had a reservation. The restaurant was warm and comfortable, and the level of cleanliness was commendable. Once our order was taken, the food arrived quickly. The presentation of the food was excellent, and the quality of the meat and the vegetables was superb. Table service was great and we were attended to professionally. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.”

“Dropped in for a evening meal, food was served fresh and hot and was spot on. Faith was looking after our table and done a wonderful job making sure everyone was catered for. “Went to The New Garden Gate and it was epic! Started with Chilli Chips – spicy and addictive. The Paneer was super creamy and the Chicken and Lamb were full of flavor. Hard to pick a favorite. The service was top-notch. Staff were friendly and quick, making the whole place feel like a family-run business. They made us feel right at home. And guess what? We even met the owner! It was great to see the person behind the food, and they were really welcoming, adding to that family vibe. The place was clean with a nice, cozy vibe, perfect for grabbing some comfort food. Overall, The New Garden Gate is a winner. Fantastic food, awesome people, and a family feel that makes you want to return. Totally going back, and you should too if you’re into tasty Indian food. “Found this gem just 20 minutes away from home. Fabulous independent pub with a Micro Brewery. Food was very tasty and portions generous ( we didnt have room left for dessert), well presented and brought to the table piping hot with a smile from the young lady serving us. Will definitely be returning there ( need to try the desserts).”

“Recently had a roast dinner for my mom’s bday and it was phenomenal! Service was amazing and we haven’t had a roast that good in a long time! They had a roast pork belly special and it’s a must try if it’s being offered when you go.”

“i Can't stop thinking about my Sunday Roast from last weekend, the meat was so soft beautifully cooked, veg was cooked through but not over cooked and the chef caramelised the veg. i feel like the station will see me every Sunday.”

“I have to say this place was a massive surprise in all the right ways. I have spent twice as much for food half as good. The Sundays roast beef was just about perfect, not just the meat but the gravy and sides, all top notch. I won't waste my time going anywhere else in future. Excellent job!”

“Very cosy setting with lovely staff and customers ✨ I come in every couple of months when I want a chill evening with a cocktail and catch up. I hear all the events are good as well and can imagine it can have a great party vibe as well! Very aesthetic and stunning in the evenings, always keep missing the food but will update once tried as the menu looks great”

“Booked in for one night as its really convenient when visiting the NEC. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a very cold day but the bar was warm with a lovely log fire. Our room was super, the bed was comfy and there was a good selection of tea and coffee. We had a super vegetarian breakfast with lots of tea and coffee. Unfortunately we left something in the room at checkout, but Dom the manager arranged to get it back to us at their cost. Brilliant service. Looking forward to another visit.”
