“Amazing experience first time watching tennis live. If you love tennis you should do it. We got to watch one of the greats venus, Williams. There are different places to buy food and drink bit you could take your own. Staff were really good and helpful.”

“The pool was beautiful, not too deep and very comfortable for swimming. There was plenty of room in the water as it wasn’t crowded at all. The changing rooms were spacious with many cubicles, which made everything easy. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to return.”

“Great gym, would definitely recommend for the classes. I’ve been a member for a few years and the Box N Burn classes are my fav - they’re well-run by Tori and Thomas! They bring great energy, motivation and boxing technique and form which I appreciate. The Box N Burn classes always have good vibes and a great workout with a lovely group of people. Occasionally the treadmills and screens in the Burn Studio can be slow or don’t work so could use an upgrade, but understand that’s not down to the instructors. Overall great classes and a good workout!”

“I have been going to this leisure center for a few months now and i love it! I am able to go to the gym which is rarely crowded, go for a swim in the lovely clean pool, and end my day with a lovely sauna. The staff are always lovely and welcoming and I would definitely recommend this gym. Makes working out a pleasure here, also is always very clean in the gym!”

“After more than 12 years away from the area, I’ve rejoined Rivers Droitwich Leisure Centre—and I’m so glad I did. The gym and facilities are absolutely brilliant. The equipment is top-notch, with plenty of cardio machines, free weights, cages, and a smith machine—everything you need whether you’re a beginner or experienced lifter. The changing rooms are spotless and well-maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the centre is really welcoming. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, always creating a positive vibe. Even the members are lovely—it’s such a refreshing place to train, and it completely outshines the gyms I’ve used in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas. So pleased to be back—this place is a real gem.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting WV Active Aldersley sports centre during the day Kabaddi World Championships 2025. Large sports centre with all the auxiliary amenities. Well liked and well used Centre.”

“This review is for the sports hall, which I and my friends attend for badminton on Wednesday evenings. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. Chairs and benches are available at request if they are not already out. It has changing facilities as well as a water fountain. Snacks are available from vending machines. There is a viewing gallery with chairs and tables also. The actual gym is not something I have used but can be seen from the car park as you walk to the entrance and a number of machines for use can be seen.”

“The gym is on the smaller side compared to many other mainstream gyms, which means you may not find all of the machines you'd like to use here. Classes are very good. Gym generally busy at usual peak times but relatively quiet otherwise. Although it is a mixed gender gym, I don't find this to be an issue, unless it is really busy. Would benefit from free lockers beings as the membership is just as high as other well equipped gyms.”

“The only grade II listed pool in the whole West Midlands? This is a fantastic place to go back in time and celebrate one of the most historic buildings and classic architecture in Birmingham. Just less than 5-7 minutes drive from central Birmingham on a good traffic day, this pool is located on Alcester Road with good bus links or a Uber ride away. The pool has changing rooms, toilets and showers all around it allowing you to be comfortable and staying in the same space. The staff are super friendly and amazing. This week as I have been told is the last week before the big refurb and the Moseley Baths will be closed until Spring 2025. Definitely a must visit if you are visiting Birmingham and I am most definitely looking forward to visit Birmingham once it is open again.”

“Visited the leisure centre this week with some trepidation due to some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and temperature of the pool , and everyone was smiling and pleasant particularly a young lad called Sam whose friendly easy going manner made this elderly lady feel totally at ease , I will be returning”

“Staff there are so friendly, the facilities although small, are perfect and it is not as busy as a regular gym. No judgement from anyone and it is just an overall nice atmosphere. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room are definitely are a winning combination! If you are looking for a gym in the local area of Solihull, I would definitely have a walk around this hidden gem.”

“a small, quiet, keep-to-yourself kind of gym. the indoor courts are excellent, with plenty of activities held for the public. prices are fair and reasonable, and the outdoor pitch is perfect. the receptionists are very supportive and friendly.”

“Been a member for just over a year now, can't really fault the place. Showers are hot, gym is clean and the people who run the classes are great. There is a good sense of community here and lots of friendly staff to talk to.”

“I have just resumed aquafit classes at Klassics after 6 weeks absence due to a broken toe and am so glad to be back. I love these classes, whether it is with Laura or Emma. Thank you both for the adaptations while I am getting back to full use of that foot - you’ll soon be seeing me my usual 4 times a week.”

“Amazing Relaxing Spa Day!!! I went on a Spa Day with my Aunt. It was my first timing having a Spa and I would recommend to all. Our treatments consisted of a Elemis Facial, Back, Feet and Shoulder Massage. I had an amazing Spa/massage therapist who was the best and gave me a relaxing and much needed massage! Definitely would come again.”

“My children have been having swimming lessons here for over 12 months and have progressed really well. Molly is a great teacher, and really encourages the children while keeping the lessons fun. We also come for family swim sessions which are good fun, and recently did the clip and climb which was really well run and very much enjoyed.”

“Only go to use the pool. Book in advance and you're all good. With a toddler though I recommend booking for the family pool...main pool is too cold when they're not very active.”
