“One of the best dine-in Chinese places, if a tad more pricey than a takeaway or all-you-can-eat. Great quality and massive portions with an extensive menu (with pictures on the menu which is fab). This place is the best for sharing dishes as they provide small side plates. Note that this place is cash only but there is a cash point opposite the gay village under 1 minute walk down the road (can't miss it). Adjacent to the Dragon Inn wetherspoons, which is a great little combo in China town near the Hippodrome. Service is good and usually quick. Great for any meat and prawns, noodles or rice dishes - for a classic british chinese experience as well as some more authentic traditional options like skewers and hot pots/ tentacles, etc.”

I’ve been coming here for about two years now and the change has been massive, not just in the service, but the whole place. I can barely even remember what it used to look like. They’ve got way more products now, the shop looks cleaner and better, and the prices are generally good. £2 for Buldak is a bit mad, but I’ve definitely seen worse so I can’t complain too much. The staff are noticeably nicer as well. Honestly, amazing local shop. Cheers pal, this place has really improved, from a 5/10 to a solid 9/10.”

“5 Stars – Absolutely Delicious! I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, coleslaw, and plantain — and it was phenomenal! The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and smokiness, so tender it fell off the bone. The rice and peas were full of flavour, not dry at all, and paired beautifully with the creamy, refreshing coleslaw. The plantain was sweet and caramelized to perfection — the ideal finishing touch. Every bite was bursting with authentic Caribbean taste. Highly recommend and can’t wait to order again!!”

“Came here for my birthday, enjoyed a nice meal with my mom, dad and brother. I had the chicken pasta which was really yummy. As it was my birthday the staff sung me a happy birthday song which filled me with joy and happiness. Got given a handmade balloon hat which I put on my head for the duration of the time we was there. I also got given some cake with cream which was delicious! I was able to use my student discount but the signal here isn't really the best. Amelia was really nice, polite and friendly. Thank you :-)”

First visit with my teenage children, we all thought the shop incredibly well presented - Fabulous seating area. Normally I find some people who work in such environments to be pretentious? But NOT HERE…an absolute delightful experience. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A big “Thank you” to Michelle, very professional and friendly. A lovely lady - chatting to my son and I. Fantastic! We purchase clothes on line from Flannels also, clothes are well made and shipped out in beautiful packaging (photograph below). Never had a problem or concern.
