“I hadn't been to the Swiss Cottage in years and was pleasantly surprised. It has a large car park which was a great bonus for me. The food was very good, hot and cooked to order. There were a lot of choices and many special offers. They also had so many gluten free options. My friend said her meal was good and tasty. The staff were very attentive and there was a lovely warm atmosphere about the place. I will definitely be returning especially for the Fizz Fridays offers”

“Our waitress Debbie was absolutely perfect. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. She asked about allergies, checked that our meals were okay, and made sure we had everything we needed. When my 85-year-old mother felt cold by the window, Debbie kindly moved us to a warmer spot. She finished by saying it was lovely to see us and wished us well as we left. The food was fine and the drinks were served quickly, but it was Debbie’s warmth and attention to detail that really stood out.”

“Always a great place to spend time and dine with friends/family. Very spacious seating areas, always friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of parking. The food is excellent and we will be returning again. As of writing this review the inaugural Oktoberfest menu has started and I couldn't be happier !”

“Went shopping here for my Christmas food on 23rd December at lunchtime ! Yes it was busy but not manic. Had everything that I wanted. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Shelves were well stocked. Bread, as usual, was delicious . The beef joint was melt in the mouth fantastic.”

“This was a great end to a long walk. Get a ticket, go up and get your roast carvery and the drinks are there ready at the table for when you get back. Decent prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend.”

“We visited a couple of weeks ago on our way back from Eastbourne and had a lovely time! Beautiful and welcoming place, with fairy lights outside that makes you want to go in. Nice and relaxing atmosphere and both waiters were great. Food was delish and affordable and it came out quickly. We will definitely be coming back!”

“A fantastic place. I went for my birthday and the staff were kind and attentive. They really made it a great day. It is so nice to meet good human beings. The food is excellent and great value. Our party of 7 chose a variety of dishes, and everyone was happy with their meals. The decor and ambiance is also superb. Overall a lovely time, would heartily recommend.”

“Decided to visit for the first time as I heard about a Karaoke taking place here, which was brilliant fun. This is a great pub overall with a really good nice friendly atmosphere. Will be returning again soon to sing more songs on the Karaoke, and maybe even check out the live entertainment and Open Mic nights they have here too.”

“Nice french cuisine - Visited with my family, kids enjoyed their time at the restaurant. Good food well presented but bit expensive for the quantity they served. Staff is very friendly and attentive around the table all the time. We didn’t liked the mocktails which we ordered, but staff understood and changed it straightaway. My wife liked her starter King prawns and my Garlic mushrooms was yummy. Main course we had Chicken Burger and Leffe beer battered fish which was delicious, would recommend others to try. My daughter spent her time on solving the puzzle and drawing Chilly Billy. Desert we tried Hot chocolate fondant and Creme brulle which was good. Would visit again and recommend to others who like to try french food.”

“Absolutely excellent customer service - This store is, somewhat conveniently, located next door to the Brighton and Hove recycling centre. Arriving yesterday with a client, we'd assumed (incorrectly) that I'd be able to unload old furniture at the tip, giving plenty of time to select new items at the store. The van I had hired was too large to be allowed at the tip and the staff of the shop kindly let us park in their car park to carry everything round by hand AND lent us a trolley to make this easier. They were incredibly helpful during a stressful experience - even though we then ran out of time to shop from them! Having had this excellent experience from all the staff members present (I'm so sorry that I didn't note down your names!) I will certainly be making sure that we return to purchase replacement items here. Many thanks for going out of your way to help.”

“Another great piece of Worthing history, ignore the last guys review, he’s gone around calling everything an eyesore in Worthing, he obviously doesn’t understand the area, can’t be from around here, some people are thick, calling nostalgic buildings an eyesore!! Terrible!”

“I recently visited The Crabtree in Shoreham-by-Sea for a pint, and it was a pleasant experience. The pub has a welcoming, traditional feel with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made sure I felt comfortable. I enjoyed a pint of their local ale, which was perfectly chilled and flavorful. The ambiance was relaxed, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the cozy setting. Whether you’re inside or in the garden, it’s a great spot to unwind. Overall, having a pint at The Crabtree was a delightful experience, and I look forward to my next visit!”

“Loved going to the triangle, 2 massive indoor pools, one outside pool and one lazy river that takes you outside. Another lazy river which is quite fast, a nice seating place inside of the lazy river. As soon as you get out of the changing rooms, it's straight to the pool. Nice cafe and lovely workers. Would recommend.”

“MUST VISIT HERE. First time here with husband. Lovely food, nice atmosphere, and great service. I love the big serving. I love the cheezzzy macaroni cheese, so flavorful! I love that you don’t overflavored the beef and chicken and you can still taste the meat. We ate the whole platter! Thank you! Will be back again.”

“Apart from delicious fish and chips and roasts and great service, it’s a very friendly and diverse place, everybody feels welcome and safe here - very child and dog friendly. Out of 3 pubs in Marina - Master Mariner is always our choice. Fantastic place to stop for meal or drink any time of the day or watch sport on a large TV screen. Always a real fire on a cold day Without exaggeration - this place is a part of Brighton’s history”

“Fantastic service from the amazing staff, especially the bar/reception teams. I requested a room with easy access and they accommodated me in room 5, which had (appart from 1 small step) level access. Lovely bar and reasonably priced drinks, I had the nachos which were outstanding. A few small gripes: They do not supply any toiletries. The TV is quite small. Bar closes at 22:00. Otherwise, flawless and highly recommended.”

“Took my dad out for lunch, who is in a wheel chair we had no problems getting his wheel chair in ( very wheel chair friendly) - he had the seniors meal which was such great value and delicious. - the staff were also so lovely We definitely be back - 10 out of 10”

“Brazilian BBQ served on swords endlessly along with a side bar of other foods from meatballs, lasagne, onion rings and chips. Great drink selection, had a sweet strawberry lemonade that hit the spot just right. Overall atmosphere was very chill, staff super friendly however the red/green card they give you was kinda small so if you go make sure it's visible”

“Decent place to come for an English breakfast. Was served relatively quickly, the hash browns were nice and crispy, butter was missing but I'm sure if I'd of asked for it it would've been brought over. We have also been here for drinks in the past and again, no problems for a busy Saturday night. Was served pretty quickly and drinks were decent!”

“Nikki and the team were brilliant. We had a large group and with the pre orders given to them a couple of days prior everyone's food came out hot and in great time. Staff here are always really nice and the kids get to play in the park, even with the cold weather. Great lunch catch up with the family and we will definitely be coming again. They were also brilliant when we had some car issues and went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks guys.”

“A lovely pub right by the sea. Old and inside it goes on and on with a pool room, darts room, and a downstairs that leads to the sea/river. Standing outside you can be by the river. Inside, you cannot see the river due to the wall outside, yet still a lovely space inside because it has so much light. Our server, Leo, was excellent and gave you the impression that nothing was too much. A masterclass in serving customers. I gave the venue 5-star for the service. Unfortunately, I had to rate the food much less. We ordered the mussels, two lots, and the mussels were very small, overcooked, and the 'classic sauce was watery and did not have a great flavour. I wanted it to be a great dish, as we really love mussels, but alas it was not. Shame.”

“Not just for one meal but going there since refurbishment totally consistent the greeting from Hannah (Land Rover girl) and the rest of the staff, the food that doesn’t cost a fortune and is way above the average pub standard and good value. “Stayed here for a couple of nights with my friend. We were bowled over with Michael & Paul’s top class hospitality, friendliness & attention to detail. Beautiful room with a comfy bed & everything you could ever need including phone chargers, umbrellas even plug adapters . Lovely guys & I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Brighton. 10/10”
