“I had to return twice for my 4D scan as my baby wasn’t in the right position.. luckily the lady was able to capture my baby at the last minute but was extremely patient and even helped me with excercises to get her in the right position. I also had my gender scan here which was early but the person was able to get the gender of her in no time! The staff are all very welcoming and friendly”

At my last visit the wonderful staff had put aside a couple of dresses for me to try that I'd messaged about earlier in the week. They also had my perfect velvet jumpsuit in store, that wasn't available online - they specifically went out of their way to find it for me. Everyone is always amazing at helping me find my perfect style and fit for my body shape and make the experience both unique and personal. It's my favourite place to find something special. “We set an appointment as we were feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount of items we would need to choose, and the information we didn't know (first time parents ). We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. “Being a first time shopper here I have honoured this store with five star rating. I always assed it would be the kind of outlet where you would need a second mortgage to afford any items and always walked past it. How naive of me to do so.. As winter is rolling in I browsed around Worthing looking for a coat and found many stores that had restricted movements in the arms. When I tried here as a "browse" I was impressed with the same quality of jacket reduced to £40 compared with the likes of TKMAXX which wanted £120.. Saved me £80 coming here.. If like me and you work outside I would highly recommend this store.. Staff seemed friendly and professional.. Service is top notch and as a customer seeking clothing items it is one of the best experiences I have encountered.. I will definitely be returning and investing my money if I get quick, professional, quality service as well as the products.. What I bought is the technical performance winter jacket reduced from £90 to £40 and since leaving the store I haven't taken it off I'm that impressed with the quality.. Overall shopping time here:- 10 minutes maximum.”

“I took my old beloved faithful shoes in for repair that should have gone in the bin as over ten years old. Collected them two days later and have been brought back to life. Excellent workmanship with new sole and heals and stitching. Had another pair of shoes re-healed with metal heals which is hard to come by now as most places only do rubber heals which do not last. This is excellent service and give 10/10 not to mention the cost which is far way cheaper than other places without the quick personable service. The most kind gentleman, also removed chewing gum off of shoes which I failed to do with ice. He really does care about your shoes and goes beyond just repair. I was not charged for stitching to my shoes which a previous company just bodged with glue and had an ugly lump on my shoe. This has now been professionally repaired. Can't say enough about this kind man and he offers a first class service in all respects. No matter how battered your shoes are, he makes them look good again and is a most honourable man. “Jake the bike mechanic went above and beyond to service and work on my bike. It went in a little worse for wear and came out better than it’s ever been. - upgraded my old handle bars to Aeros, - changed & re routing all the cables - wrapping new bar tape - adjusted the break and gear levers. - fixed my front mec - fitted a new rear cassette - fitted a new jockey wheel - gave the bike a ‘platinum service’ Throughout the service he kept me updated on how it was going and any recommendations he would advise. All in all a very diligent, knowledge and trustworthy man. 10/10 Many thanks Tom”

“I recently travelled from Canada to the UK for my sister-in-law's wedding. I brought a frock with me but wasn't entirely pleased with the fit. On a whim, I popped into Hobbs, Brighton, on a 'just in case I see something' basis. Well, thank goodness for Lorraine. In the end, I threw myself on her mercy: "Please help!" Having lost my shopping 'eye' some time ago, I asked Lorraine to suggest some things for me and ended up trying on quite a few different dresses, jackets and so on. Including things I would not have picked out for myself. Lorraine displayed the patience of a saint and, when I asked her for it, gave me her honest opinion about what looked best. In the end, it came down to two options (both gorgeous and very flattering). I um'd and ah'd until I remembered that the joy of being a menopausal woman - who can't make a decision and has long since forgotten how to shop - is that I could afford to buy both. Many thanks to Lorraine, and her lovely colleague whose name I didn't get, for such friendly kindness and expert advice.”

“Firstly my apologies for taking so long to say thank you to you all but specifically to David. We came to Brighton in the summer on the hunt for a new suit, as we had a number of Weddings coming up and I was in dire need of a new suit. We tried a few other places before arriving at Woodies. As we walked in we were warmly greeted by David who you could tell straight away was experienced honest and knew his profession inside and out. David patiently listened to what I had in mind and diplomatically guided me to what David recommended for my skin tone and eye colour. He was of course 100% correct and after trying a few suits I then followed his original recommendation, which he made within minutes of meeting. I tried it on and it was perfect. It took a while to get used to accepting that the person in the mirror looking back at me was in fact me! I am not used to wearing suits and to wear and own one that is of this quality and suited to my skin tone and eye colour, I feel a very lucky man to have decided to walk into Woodies that day. David went on to pair the suit with a lovely ivory shirt, a tan suede leather belt and a beautiful Liberty tie and pocket square to complete the ensemblé. I could not be happier with the customer service we received from David and for dressing me in my new suit. We are now two Weddings in and I have had so many compliments from friends and complete strangers and it’s all thanks to Woodies and especially David. I love my new suit and feel great whenever I wear it. I cannot thank you enough and will continue to recommend the team at Woodies to anyone looking for an experienced safe pair of hands with decades of experience behind them.
