“Pretty much everything about a recent stay here was excellent. Location couldn't be more central to everything in Brighton. The room was super clean, well laid out and you can tell thought has gone into the guest experience, everything we needed was there. It's certainly not the biggest space, but for a weekend break when you're spending your time in Brighton, you won't need anything more...although the shower cubicle I found just a little too small for my size, but done the job. There were some really nice touches they added for Pride weekend too the room and we had super friendly check too. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“Absolutely fantastic service from Verity in the Brighton store today. I have rhuematoid arthritis and full legs and always have difficulty getting boots to fit, she was really helpful and kind, she got multiple pairs out for me to try and also offered help if I needed it. I came away with a Milliner platform which I've just tried on again at home and can't wait to wear them out, they zip up easily and the leather is soft. I'll definitely be coming back for more footwear as needed.”

“Visited your Uckfield branch earlier today for a bulb. I spoke initially with Steve who advised me of the benefits of particular bulbs. These were purchased and between Steve and Murray, changed the bulbs for me.Genuinely, these guys were so polite and helpful and cracked the job in no time. “I needed a battery check and replacement battery if as I suspected mine was on it's way out. Promptly checked and confirmed I needed a new one. Not a 5 minute job replacing the Kuga battery but all done professionally ensuring no loss of codes etc by friendly staff. My only slight criticism would be only one choice and price of battery but I was just a drive in, so maybe with an advance booking there may have been a choice. Also I joined the Halfords motering club that gave me a free fitting and £10 off the battery price and some future benefits. Overall a good experience.”

“While they had a shop in Carnaby Street somewhatI didn't find one I could wear. But their online shop has huge sellection! Treasure trove of not only amazing shoes but handbags are gorgeous！I own quite a few of both. They are investment for future. I am very sad to learn their manufacturer isn't available any more so clearance is going on (September 2025). Get bargain before closure! I hope they can find a British manufacturer soon, and don't let the wonderful designs lost forever. It will be crime against style!”

“It's a standing joke in my family that Jaba Yard is one of my first stops whenever I'm in Brighton. I've bought quite a few items both in store and online and I love the fact that, in general, the clothes are different to what you can get on the high street. I find the staff friendly and willing to help without being too pushy (in fact I've had some very good advice about what suits me and what doesn't) and the clothes are good quality. At my most recent visit, earlier this month, I saw an outfit but didn't try on or buy, thinking I would be able to buy online when I got home. Unfortunately it wasn't on the website. I emailed Jaba Yard with a description of the clothes I wanted and they were added to the website so I was able to go through the normal ordering process. Amazing. Orders are turned around very quickly and generally received within 3 days of being placed. The returns process is also good. I returned something I ordered that was the wrong size using the prepaid return slip and my replacement items were delivered the following week. I highly recommend this shop.”

“Jake the bike mechanic went above and beyond to service and work on my bike. It went in a little worse for wear and came out better than it’s ever been. - upgraded my old handle bars to Aeros, - changed & re routing all the cables - wrapping new bar tape - adjusted the break and gear levers. - fixed my front mec - fitted a new rear cassette - fitted a new jockey wheel - gave the bike a ‘platinum service’ Throughout the service he kept me updated on how it was going and any recommendations he would advise. All in all a very diligent, knowledge and trustworthy man. 10/10 Many thanks Tom”
